ARE YOU INSANE, NO NO NO, THEN IT’S NO LONGER ARMENIAN BREAD, perhaps Lebanese, or Persian or French but CERTAINLY NOT ARMENIAN!!!!! Ay kez ban! Harut
hm, i don't even know if i have any rights to post in artistic topic (being a complete unartistic). but... the general theme of the first painting posted by anileve reminds me of late '70s early '80s Yerevan. the painting inside the painting is exactly as the highway in Armenia that i crossed every weekend for 15 years. OH MY GOD YES, I LOVE YOU!!!!! FINALLY SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS! Harut you rock! You nailed it, but I guess it is evident to us being that we are from Yerevan originally. Armat I was just being sarcastic regarding the great posters that were calling the painting "not potent enough with an Armenian theme", since it didn't have any traditional Armenian emblems. By the way the second painting symbolizes Genocide, pretty nationalistic as you can see.
Sasun
Hmmm... when I look really-really closely to the painting I can see Anileve's and Harut's footsteps on the highway

(just being cynical ) No She is small built, not good for drawing.I prefer large models since generally they're great and interesting to look at for me at least. So fat girls out there do not be sad I appreciate and value you! Anileve
Wow Armat jan, talk about large prospects! It's how shall I say a bit "IN YO FACE" How about a landscape instead, this one is a bit straining on the eye, I know I know! How about a 6 pack with a pelvic bone accentuating the beauty of a male body instead? Now that should make everyone crave for chocolate! vava
Armat jan, once again, thank you! Your paintings have a certain balance - warmth/coolness, known/unknown... evokes emotion, and questioning... I very much like it.
