But for some reason I can't get myself into the holiday spirit this year and this seems to be the deal for a lot of people. Living in LA deprives us of so much ... Things are getting worse and worse at my job and my search for a new one has bee futile. Must be the holiday season. I was called in by my boss and "warned" that I am too "lenient" and too "friendly" with my workers. Total BS !!! I AM friendly but also very demanding. They just don't get that !!! They run that office like a communist country. They've put me and my workers under a microscope and there is this 'b/witch' (who has hated me since the day I started working there) watching my every move. I held a meeting with my workers and told them of the situation. They want to file an official complaint - racial discrimination. And I have to agree with them. The evening commute is a killer. I'm half-dead by the time I get home from work and I only drive from Van Nuys to Glendale. I'm hoping the new year will bring along new prospects.
