Agreed. The value of Aznavour’s version is that we never knew that he knew Armenian music. After so many years of French Chanson, and so many years of insults and accusations**, he still feels so much Armenian that may put many of us to shame. **In his youth Aznavour was insulted and booed off the stage for not singing “iskudara giden I ken” and other furkish tunes.. Below the lyrics of the song. Johannes or SAS can give us the modern Armenian version and translation where indicated. I would have the English translation of the title as "I Know Not Your Worth". Note; Some of the words below are bastardized to the abeghian garbage. where (չիմ )"գիԴի" would rather be "գիՏի". it means to "know" as in "գիտենալ" Յիս քու ղիմեթը չի՞մ գիդի հեղինակ՝ Սայաթ Նովա Թասլիբ, էսպես Արութինի ասած։ Յիս քու ղիմեթը չի՞մ գիդի՝ Ջավահիր քարի նըման իս.
