Yet another very idiotic comment that shows you don't have much clue about "American life" other than what you are exposed to in the media you watch and from your dad. Many young people, especially smart and capabale Armenian youth in America, simply don't have the luxury of having their daddy pay for their college. They have no choice but to go in large amounts of debt to pursue their educations and make sure they are not stuck in dead-end lives till they die. I have a very good friend who would study at UCLA during the day and park cars at night at Universal Studio for years. He had no one here in the US. Not only did he manage to do excellent in school, he also would regularly send money back to Armenia to support his parents. Once he got into graduate school, the 1 or 2 jobs he had one the side simply were not enough to pay for it all ... He has since gone on to get a PharmD degree and has landed a very good job (is married and has bought a house etc) ... he will have debt and huge loans for many many years to come, but I really don't think you are much "smarter" than him for not having any debts. It's great you don't, but don't be so quick to put down other people that might have debt (sometimes huge amounts) in their lives.

Just by a show of hands .. who here supports male circumcision? From what I remember from our various discussions on the subject, I don't remember anyone around here who has said male circumcision is a necessity or a good thing. I am personally glad no one messed with my anatomy when I was little.

I once happened to be driving through Sunset on Gay night. Unfortunately I was in an open jeep with no doors, windows, or roof .. before I knew it, I was sitting there, dead stop in the middle of traffic, surrounded by a sea of gays with frilly fuzzy boa snakes, all types of feathers, strange hats, etc ... If my friend's cute cousin (girl) hadn't been riding shotgun with me, I would have been in a world of trouble. At times like that, I think a bit of Islam can't be that bad for these people.

Oh my schedule is no where near that organized. Many days I am awake till maybe around 3-5AM ... sleep till around noon on some days, other days get up 10ish or earlier ... wake up maybe eat something quick (like leftovers or a piece of toast etc) maybe not ... I eat at fairly random times during the day. But it's not like I will have regular "meals". Some days I might eat a big meal at the buffet early in the day and not much after that. Other days I might constantly eat small things here and there all day. It really varies. I don't think I could have hot tea every day ... I may have one or two here and there (especially in winter). But now, it's primarily iced drinks for me. Today for example I made the best smoothie! I had a bunch of frozen strawberries and peaches .. some pinapple juice and some vanilla yogurt with a bit of OJ and Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmy!

Yah I have to cut some more of that rat urine out of my diet! But I have only been drinking diet sodas and pepsi one in the last couple of yeras. I often order ice tea (not sweetened) instead of soda at restaurants these days ... there is only some rare occasions that I will really crave a cool bubbly pepsi after a big meal to help me digest it all.

Try the movie (bigger longer uncut) for an indepth analysis of the views on Canada

I have lived many years in Iran, western europe, and the US. I have many close friends and family from Lebanon as well as Armenia. I have no doubt in my mind that the United States is by far the best place to live, work, and propsper in the world. I will NEVER leave this place ... especially not for anywhere in the middle east. Canada is a different story. I know I'll get my ass kicked for saying it ... but it's just like another state Lebanon would have been a great place (it was for a long long time) but unfortunately, it has been torn apart for decades with religious fundamentalists and the never-ending Arab-jew battles that will just go on and on and on ... I do not think the situation in Lebanon will improve much in my life time. I just hope it doesn't get worse and I certainly hope they don't all blow each other to bits in the coming years. I am also well aware of all those "Armenians" that bitch and moan about the US while they are cashing their welfare checks in Glendale and trying to find new ways to cheat Medical and other government systems. Why are you trying to twist your statement into something that I might have said? The main question still remains. HOW did you come to the conclusion that the rapists in the US are mostly "unreligious" when according to your own statement, rape trascends religion so all rapists everywhere must be unreligious. How then are the rapists in the US any different and why did you bother making a distinction?

Specifics ... you are making general statements about specific things I have said. I asked you for a proof for a direct statement of "fact" that you made. Anon and I also disagree on many things. Whenever I have "cheered" him, it has been for specific statements or certain posts. Just because I agree with him on one thing, it doesn't mean I will necessarily agree with him on another thing (look in an evolution thread for example ) As far as "causal relationships between Islam and Rape", my view has been that many interpretations of Islam allow the husband to have sex with his wife whenever he wishes (even if she doesn't). Now I know you don't agree with that as that is highly immoral. But as much as you have been wanting to claim Islam is some sort of Universal Truth, it is still something that is subject to a wide range of interpretations. THAT is the problem with religion .. in that it is never "absolute". It is always subject to interpretation. Some interpretations are better than others of course So why do you make the conclusoin that "rapists in the US are necessarily unreligious"? Why in the US? If rape transcends religion (as you claim), shouldn't rapists everywhere be considered "unreligious" by your standards? Why did you make it sound like the rapists in the US are somehow worse than rapists in other places?

Stand behind what you said with SOME reasoning or admit that again you are repeating your own version of propaganda about the US. You really think what you have been exposed to is all facts about the US? Since the question asks what is the attraction to "muslim men", I think it would be pointless to discuss it based on "culture, history, and geography" alone. The fact that we are talking about "muslim" men demands that the Quran and the religion be brought into the picture.

I try not to buy anything Turkish. Sometimes I am not aware things are made in Turkey but if I know, then I don't buy. Also anything that sounds Turkish but is made in Bulgaria or similar places I don't buy.
