Sorry if this reply is late but you just can't go wrong with Core Duo or Core 2 Duo. Other than that, I don't know if those prices are good or not but I'm sure you can figure out with a bit of comparison shopping. I personally like Toshibas but other than their el-cheapo brands (I got one for my dad which has held up great), I don't have any other experiences with them.

Excellent post. I think at the very least there should be a basic reading comprehension test and a very basic logical reasoning test to check the people who are voting are not complete morons. Something basic from a highschool or SAT test will do. Also, in the US, I think they should eliminate the political affiliations next to the names of people. And most definitley, they should get rid of the "blanket" votes like "all democrat" or "all republican". If you don't know the people, leave the fricking ballot blank

For the record, I have been known to watch a few movies here and there while driving on empty roads (no one around for miles) By the way, my cel phone comment had nothing to do with what you had said about yourself. So don't take it personally... I would have said that anyway since it pisses me off when people almost kill me on the roads while on their cel phones. Edit: ... But at least with Armenians on cel phones it's much easier to tell because they use their hands so much more

It is not meant to be a joke. If you talk on your cel phone and drive, for real, then I AM BETTER than you (in that regard).

But those who don't act like that ARE better. I am definitely better than someone who will smoke a cigar in a crowded area, is loud and abnoxious without regard to others, and will disrespect a country's anthem like that. Definitely better. And on the same token, I am better than those who won't shut up at movie theaters. I am better than those who talk on their cel phones and drive. I am better than those who drink and drive. I am better than those who run into you on the streets and don't appologize. Those of us who don't act like that are better.

I'm sorry but if you sit on your ass during the American national anthem and you smoke a Cigar, you are beneath shit in my eyes. This was written by a very close friend of mine and I have to say I definitely feel his pain. I think I have said before how I personally witnessed those jackasses that were waving the Armenian flag and screaming f-USA after 9-11 in burbank. Or the time I have seen Armenian words and names scratched on UCLA desks and painted on walls with markers and pens. I just wish we as a community would act a bit better at times. The iPhone craze is one of the more rediculous things I have seen in recent times. It all goes to show you how clever marketting can really make anything be the next "fad". I've been using the XV6700 for about a year now and like it a lot. The iPhone is nice but damn at that price, I really doubt they will sell too many after the initial coolness period wears off ... especially since verizon users would have to cancel their plans and switch over to AT&T. I guess it's kind of like the iPod craze ... where now a lot of people think "mp3 player" and iPod are the same thing Here's the thread I had about interfacing it with my car to get engine parameters. I wonder how easy it would be to try to do that with the iPhone given Apple likes to keep all their SDKs and development platforms secret and their own where Microsoft practically gives away their development tools for PocketPC.
