what is the Armenian translation of "mason"? i don't know what mason is and don't understand what you are talking about. please help me here.
  6. i would love to see those pics, thank you. i haven't been in Armenia for 2-3 years already. so i don't really know what's going on currently. but back in 97-98, the players in Armenia (not the ones playing outside) were playing very bad. i even thought whating the national championship is a waste of time. but i naver missed "havakakani khagh". i hope we'll improve in the near future. it's a shame to have 3 teams (or 4?) playing in European arena and naver (almost) advance to second round. btw, i understand Armenian perfectly, so feel free to write in Armenian if nassessary. no clearification needed. send me those pics, please.

    Jivan is a Gladiator

that was a joke of course. but if he tries he could become one, who knows. ok. i'm sure many of you have seen "Gladiator" and liked it. is it true that the duduk we hear sometimes throughout the movie is played by Jivan Gasparian? or is it another Armenian exagaration?
  8. i agree that religion most of the time become political tool. sometimes it gets so much power that the religion itself becomes the politics. (holy roman empier). but i'm not a master in this area, so, please don't argue with me.

  10. 2 years ago, when i had been in US only a month or two, one Armenian girl, who was from Bairut, was trying to explain what radish means. it took prity long time before we anderstood each other. that was sad. other people that were looking from aside were confused. we both were Armenians, spoke Armenian perfectly, but didn't understand each other. 11. thank you very much for the info. it's good that you have a great confidance in our football. but there is a problem, i don't see any motivation in the players. most of them are rather "siroghakan" than "profesional". i think what they need is more "khrakhusakanner", so players could tie their daily life with the game, not juse two or three practices a week and a game on weekends. 16. i remember when the first "musical" cafes opened in Yerevan after the cisis of the 90's. they gave a new spirit to the city. the one right at the corner of Kievian, Halabian and Leningradian was awsome place, but also very expencive. what was the name of that cafe? i remember it was non-Armenian name because people made big deal out of it. they had great music too.

    Impressions Of The Day

even though i didn't have great time at my high school in US, but still as the draduation approaches i have this strang feeling that i don't want to leave the school. in those 2.5 years i've been counting the days, when i was going to graduate. but now, when there are only 2 more weeks left, i want to saty at school, accomplish what i haven't done, do some things differently, become friend with some people, never talk to some others...... and so on. is this usual? or i have problems? i just now realize that i liked school. it's a great place to send your day. well, i hope college will fix this. but i don't think it would be the same as high school. if only we could turn back the time.......

thanks Mos jan. there were only 3 Armenians who received awards today, me and onther 2 girls. i'm proud to go to the same school with them. each of them probably got 10-15 awards and different scholarships. they are really smart. but of course i'm the best in math.
