Thanks to everyone who tried to help me on this problem. it seems (hopfully) my problem has gone away.

corrections!!! finally i could get the Netscape 4.7, acctually i'm still downloading it. i tried it the whole day yesterday and today morning. i couldn't get it. but after posting my last message i gave it one more try. it worked!!!

Garo, i've been on the page you gave me. but did you try to click on "download"? it doesn't work. the file is not available, i guess. i tried other sites but all of them lead to there. so i couldn't get it. i've tried Netscape 6 once before, but it didn't work correctly. this Opera 5 doesn't give any problems at all. you're right it's kind of not proffesional, doesn't have everything i need to surf the net. but i sent a whole day already online without even a single crash. the problem was with IE, i guess.

i just downloaded and currently using Opera 5. it's preaty fast browser. i couldn't find the version of Netscape Garo suggested. they have the name but not the file for download. so far this one is working great. giving no problems. do you know anything about Opera 5? what are its good things, bad things? with this browser everything seem different. the fonts, the images, the tables...... i reinstalled the modem drivers from the recovery disk that came with the comp. it didn't help. it was the same thing. i'll post the results of this browser later. i hope they will be positive.

i used to believe in this too. but you never know, we always have a tough luck.

you cannot see a evolution in one hundred years or even in one thousand years. but with the technology that we have today i don't think there would be any problem to turn monkey into human, if there really was an evolution form monkeys to humans.

also, even though i have 56KB modem, my connection never exceeds 46,667bps. the max it gets is exactly this. is this normal? one more strage thing, my cousin has 56MB modem, but sometimes the connection is 115,000bps. is this strange?

i can give some info on this one. it was opened for the first time in 1965, on April 24. i know this because i mom always tells that they were getting ready to go there for the first time, but my uncle was born on the same day. the constraction was started probably in 1963. the name Tsitsernakaberd is the name of the hill that the monument is built on. i used to live right in front of Hamalir. so i spend my childhood in Tsitsernakaberd and Hamalir. the whole hill was empty, without any trees and animals. they started the project in beginning of 60s. first they planted trees. they tried to make it a beautiful park. then the constraction of the monument was started. i don't know the detals but it was on fire once. and there are couple of models of it on the hill, the smaller versions. then the constraction of Hamalir (complex) was started. i think it's one of the unique and most beautiful buildings in the world. i can still write a lot about my impressions but i'll stop. it makes me go to airport and fly back there right away.

Yes MJ, I thought that too, that it would crash at any time. Kazza I use HP computer with Pentium 3 processor and windows 98. the memory was 63MB (strange) before I added another 64MB. I think it works because it says 127MB in the property of My Computer. I try to avoid using other programs when I’m online. There are only 3-4 system things and the virus program open. I check it in the “msconfig” thing. Also the percentages in the resource meter are in the 80s. It doesn’t disconnect at all. It just freezes. Nothing responses. The cursor doesn’t move. I also think it’s the modem, but would it freeze the computer or would disconnect? I bought the computer more than a year ago form Fry’s electronics. They gave warranty for one month only. So, I don’t think they would do anything about this. I will get Netscape and new drivers for modem and will post the new results. Thank you. This was my fifth attempt to post this. It froze already 4 times before, while I was trying to write this message. I’m soooooo angry.

it doesn't give any warnings. it just freezes, and you never know when. you're right about that memory thing. 2 months ago i didn't have any program that could open ***.jpeg files (pictures) and i used IE. after opening and closing about 10-15 pictures it would warn me about low memory. but i don't think that's the problem because it heppens even if i use one window. i'll try to find Netscape. do you know where to look for it, Garo? my cousin says that it could the heat. he says it's hot and maybe the CPU gets overheated and crashes. he suggested to add an extra fan. what do think about this? thanks guys.
