Azat
hmmmm, why is there a cake next to your name. Please I do not think that Armenian men cheat as much as many others do. Some of us do I am sure, but most do not.
hyebruin
That is not true! We are as inocent as morning dew! [/QB] Oh, my goodness!!! Don't even get me started on that!!! Men are definitely NOT morning dew...that's the really sad part though...most men claim they love their wife/girlfriend/fiancee...but then totally separate that from having a fling on the side..."who told you YOU can have fries with that main dish?"...I guess for some men...especially from 'macho' cultures such as with armenians...a full course meal just isn't enough! they gotta have the cheap buck 99 drive through!!! Loreley
I do not see anything wrong with open marriage relationships. There are other ways to be happy outside of what has always been considered the "standard" or "normal" family. Who decides what is "normal" is an issue in itself. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA That was funny. Nairi jan, unfortunately you are wrong about that industry. Majority of the big players in that industry are men. Just look who owns most of the big adult studios and magazines. By the way, do you know who is the biggest money maker in the Adult industry? It use to be AT&T when they owned Cablevision until about 2-3 months ago, but I am not sure who it is now since the split. I am sure AT&T is still up there with phone sex stuff that they have but probably is not number one. It is a very interesting industry with MANY interesting characters. THOTH
Just an aside on step families. We have relatives (removed once over on my mothers side or such) - fully Armenian - very Armenian - involved in the Church, speak it at home etc - who adopted a girl (baby) nearly 20 years ago. She is not Armenian ethnically - but has been raised as one - she speaks Armenian, dances Armenian, is involved in Armenian youth groups, and will likely mary an Armenian. etc her and her parants have a great deal of love and attachment towards one another. And she has totally adopted the cuture - she has been raised 100% Armenian. Just thought this might be an interesting tidbit & such...Another (perhaps) interestng aside is that they have lived in Turkey for a period (he was an Air Force officer)... nairi
lol... no, I meant the people who work in front of the camera. But thanks Azat for pointing out your gender's mediocrity again That's really cool Thoth, but what exactly are you trying to say with it? That adoption, thus growing up away from one's biological parents can work, or something else? I'm curious...

Companies like GM and the hotels like Marriott. They followed a girl for 2 years from the start she's done 200 movies in 2 years? I don’t want to get into details but it was very graphic the girl is with 10 prison men very sadistic, a woman doing it for a record. Like animals. No worse I don’t understand how can someone get off from that but they do.. millions of them. It’s the culture now. Who needs Voltier. Eat, **** go to toilet. I mean life is not always exciting every second in everything you do! that does not mean people should go out and look for fun...they should make fun!!! (no pun intended!) ~~~ it's like saying "oh, I don't like the way my boss looks today...I'll try to get another job for a while...then I'll come back!" uhuh! it doesn't work like that in the real world ! so how come not as much dedication and commitment is placed in relationships?... I believe any relationship is like a flower or plant...you cannot just think about loving it...and leave it alone...you've got to water it, keep it in a good environment, maybe change the soil once in a while! relationships are all about compromise and work...the trick is making sure it's with the RIGHT person!!! It is kind of funny that Marriott is making money off of ****. After all the company was started by Mormons and card carrying Mormons still get half off from Marriott rates. One would think that they would not have Adult content on their TVs, but I guess like all other religions they too will sell anything and everything for the real GOD(the dollar). Well this is perhaps one ideal - but its just not reality for everyone. People change. And some people get married (too) young or otherwise make wrong choices. Also who is to say that we should only love one our whole life & such. I had several long term girlfriends in my life whom I cared for intensly and who perhaps I could have gone further with. Then again, maybe I would want a change by now as I have grown older and my interests maybe have changed... And no I don't think love means only one by definition. i have loved more then one many times in my life (even if it wasn't always consumated per se). And you also might want the relationship to continue - but not necessarily have it be exclusive. And - bottom line - sex is good. People have extermarital affairs & such - even when the consequences could be sever - because we (generally) like sex. maybe we are not happy withe the sex at home - or maybe we are but we want more. Its been going on since perhaps the beginning of time - and its understandable. Sometimes people do real stupid things because of sex. Human nature... quote:Originally posted by hyebruin: I mean life is not always exciting every second in everything you do! that does not mean people should go out and look for fun...they should make fun!!! (no pun intended~~~ it's like saying "oh, I don't like the way my boss looks today...I'll try to get another job for a while...then I'll come back!" uhuh! it doesn't work like that in the real world !Understood - but it doesn't always work out this ideal way either. Even when one side tries - sometimes the other is just set in such a way and this leaves the one partner unsatisfied. Or another example. A friend of mine got married to thsi gal who while they were dating was amazing in how she kept up with him and did what he did - he was very athletic & on the go all the time. Once they were married she didn't want to do any of it anymnore (as it really wasn't her and she was doing it to nab him). Well asit turned out he found her at home in bed with another guy - but thats a different story - he was already pretty exasperated that she had "changed" so...etc. Also relationships can get stale. To try something different for a while can be refreshing even if you eventually come back to the first one. Its possible that this can even make the first relationship stronger. Particualrly if you (have the sense - if true) to realiase what a good thing you might have going... quote:Originally posted by hyebruin: so how come not as much dedication and commitment is placed in relationships?...Some still are. But we have so many choices now - and we can meld off into society - we are not stuck in a closed community where we are pressured into certain choices. Again - not all a bad thing. Some unions are best broken - really - why perpetuate a bad thing...you only live once...really... quote:Originally posted by hyebruin: I believe any relationship is like a flower or plant...you cannot just think about loving it...and leave it alone...you've got to water it, keep it in a good environment, maybe change the soil once in a while! relationships are all about compromise and work...the trick is making sure it's with the RIGHT person This is certainly true. (and we are all guilty to some degree of becoming lazy and such in this regard - it really does take effort - I fade in and out with it - but do try). But relationshps and even who you get into one with have an element of ramdomness to them - you just never know what your getting and often how the relationship will persevere through circumstances - some that you may go through only once - or for the first time etc. This is why it is often best to really (fully)get to know someone first - before commitment. Try living with them. And make sure that you are sexually compatable as well. Though I've been in relationships were this was true but the rest of the relationship didn't work. Very tough to get out of I will tell you (LOL - tough because it was very good in one very important aspect - mutually) - but not good at the same time...(but as we had an open relationship I was able to fix her up with someone else!...though she still did try to come back...) Outdoorgirl
From the comments posted in this forum, I noted that many forum members have extreme looks on life; some of them are way too conservative, the others too open-minded. Concerning the topic above, I’d like to say that I am afraid that we’re gonna lose pretty soon the sense of “family”. I wouldn’t comment if it would concern a couple who has no children. But when you have a child, the one you are responsible for, a creature, which is not mentally formed yet you should consider the impact of your steps on their psychological development. Parent’s responsibility doesn’t end with feeding and clothing their children. At least, if they decide to have a life like this, they should hide it from their children. Tell me, how’re you gonna explain it to your 5 year old child? Children who grow in homosexual families don’t have this problem, because they see loving parents. For a child to feel secure and happy, it is important not only be loved by his parents but to see parents loving each other. Otherwise what is our difference from those of primitive societies? To conclude, I'd like to congratulate everyone with Valentine's day and wish love to all the member of this forum. Be Happy,Outdoorgirl
