My best friend, is a self-styled 'playa'. And he is very good at what he does even though he is only 20. Everything has been perfected from the cheap compliments to the fake laughter and compassionate hugs.....lol. Unfortunatelly I cant force myself to conduct myself in such a scandalous manner, nevertheless its bloody hillarious to watch him, knowing his real intentions...etc. Im the old-fashioned type, I'll go after a skirt I REALLY like, and these are very rare and far between........

Well you might be surprised to know - but I'm probably a lot more like you then him. Though I'm not sure about the "very rare and far between" - I think you might be missing out a bit (but I fully understand being selective)...but no matter - its up to you...and I can sympathyse with your feelings (at your age) of not being attracted to any giggly young gal - I was always attracted to (sexy) older (...real) women (who weren't so much into games etc - but knew what they wanted - ie - the good stuff..and of course nice times & good fun too)...LOL - of course now - being an old fart myself (41) - the young gals all look/seem kind of nice...and if I had it to do all over - I probably would have tried to be a bit lmore ike your buddy...I mean its good stuff (the old in an out..and all that goes with it)- really good! super yummy good! - and while I more then had my share at times (I'll need to check with Guiness sometime...) - I so often wish I would have gone after some that I (certainly) let get away...etc

Yeah, but sometimes the circumstances are simply against you, and me being full of pride (perhraps missplaced) simply doesnt allow me to have a go when the chances are seemingly slim. What I don't understand is, I am very similar in character to my father, and according to (both) my parents he was quite the playboy when my age.....maybe its a different age and the older values are no longer in fashion....

Well about tigrannes, I think it’d be a rough task for him to claim that I am not Armenian, don’t u think so? Just in case, I was born in RA, live here, I am Armenian by both sides of my parents, got Armenian citizenship, speak fluent Armenian.

Let’s get on to your questions. I think every other person in Armenia speaks English already. So it’s not a big deal but in general I am good in languages. Besides that I’ve been to US for about a year, so that kinda explains. I met many white & black Americans with whom I still keep in touch and even here I have many American, French, german friends. It’s just a pity to realize that the racism exists in the 21st century. For me it’s also funny to see that the ones who post those kind of messages live abroad. I even start to think that Armenians living in Armenia are more open-minded that I’d imagine. The tourists visiting Armenia are very happy with the treatment they receive, some even prolong their visas or stay here. I do like clubbing and all sorts of discos. I think they’re lots of fun. Well, as everywhere clubbing is popular among young ppl but there are clubs which are visited also by elder ones. You should be enjoying working with bands. If you have other questions about Armenia or everything else, feel free to ask.

Yes, agreed...racsist attitudes are still prevalent in the US - but as you probably saw - not with everyone. In fact I think there has been tremendous improvement. When i went to school - and had black friends - it was somewhat unusual/not the norm - I think young folks (in particular) are now much more accepting and less conciencious about race as my generation and those preceeding it were. (Of course some here are the acception it sems...and they exist as well...)

Really - I certainly hope this is so. Armenian & Armenians needs to generate some good will about itself/themselves...etc. And its good for our Western Armenian young Rabizs to understand that not all think as they do back in RA (even with the Soviet legacy and old world values prevalant)

I do - I quite enjoy it. And I think its important for older folks like myself to not loose touch with thier youth - doing things that were fun to them in their youth - etc - otherwise they become old farts & such (and the young folks laugh at them etc for their silly ways and close mindedness/lack of fun) - and what is the good of that? Most who have known me when I was young state that I haven't changed a bit - and (for the most part) I think thats great/entirely a good thing...And you should enjoy dancing at clubs and having a good time. You only live and are young once - enjoy it! Good for you!

For the record - I don't "pick up" guys (or gals) here. LOL. But I am happy to be friendly with anyone. I even think I get along OK with those whose (political/social) views I find somewhat distasteful. THOTH- It’s never late to visit Armenia, I am sure you’ll enjoy it. Living here for a long time is a bit complicated (conditions of living e.t.c.) but you’ll decide it for yourself after you come over. I think traveling is as fun as clubbing and it’ll be quiet educative for your kids. What concerns your wife, you should find something that’ll interest her in this trip, Hope she won’t be against.

You see never met any hikers/bikers here, truly speaking never liked them either. I choose this nick name cuz it’s unique and second I enjoy being out. No special meaning.

 

HARUT: That’s a funny thing she asked you aboutJ I think you should give an announcement. There are some blacks from Africa here who work as waiters in the bars/restaurants, I think that’s planned for drawing attention and a very little amount who came here for studies.

So maybe she’s already found one. But me personally, I put some distinction between them, I prefer blacks who were born and raised in US, the Americanized type if I can call them this way.

You should have forgotten a lot about armenia, how many years haven't u been here? Yeah, I live in Yerevan, not so far from the venter of the town. This year Yerevan is really messy as the roads are being reconsturcted. But I am sure they'll get them all done by next summer.

Not that I remeber much of it in the first place, but everynow and then we'll get videos, and my mum was there in summer of 99 and she filmed our house, street, school (No62) etc. and all the memories come back. (we used to live in 2nd Massive, very nice house and location)
