No your ass is wrong, the ramgavar paper even had the headline in it, just because the Tashnags ran it doesn't mean they were the only ones there. WE are all Armenian, exept for you since you are a Dajeek.

Show me the headline !!!

Btw there is a difference that i am making in case you did not notice , betw. people and parties. No, Ramgaavar party was not involved in the protest. individuals might have been, but the party as a party was not .

The government was deomcratically elected and all HEzbollah is doing is bitching and moaning. We will see who will run for President and win, then we will see whose side is more popular. Who would run from each side though, maybe Aoun, but which MAronite Christian would run for the Hariri ticket.

The government was deomcratically elected

Yeah, so what are you afraid of ? If it was people's will, if you say Ramgavars & government are so popular , what are you afraid of ? For the sake of proving us wrong , accept the challenge , :)

Why would they do that? They already won, and you guys are the ones who quit the government and did not want to work things out.

But be patient we will see who will win the Presidential election.

Why would we do that ?

First because the constitution and national pact have been violated ? (I know that when the law is not on your side you can easily say to hell with it , we won "democratically" !!! after all, a seat for the 1st time in history, and with Hariri votes to boot , is not something one should be willing to give up , worst of all by referendum = people's will !!)

It is very simple. Can you tell me why not ? Suppose it is a challenge. Suppose we are that childish . Suppose you have won democratically by the majority's will. Suppose you have preserved the same amount of popularity.

Why no referendum ?

Let the people be your judge. :hammer: :bangin:

What are you afraid of ?

Anyway , informed sources tell me that in about 20 day's time , the government may resign , and if things go wrong at this point and they change their opinion things will go really wrong... (maybe another assassination is coming our way  because every time the loyalists are on the losing end , someone is killed and they are back to shifting the blame onto Syria and then people are told to forget about a 'solution' )

Where is this referendum talk coming from, why not have one for LAhoud then and get his ASS out of Babda. Since his term is in fact Illegal!

Do you read An NAhar newspaper?

you should go to naharnet.com and get your news from there.

Illegal ? I am not so sure , who was allied with Syria when the Lahoud term was (very legally) extended ? ;) Ooops. Who was allied with Syria and shared Lebanon's treasury (including MY money ) with Syria ? And who created the 40 billion dollar debt and impoverished the people of Lebanon (and drove thousands of Christians out of Lebanon as a result ) , including many ARMENIANS ? Let me guess, naharnet does not give you the answer to that question , right ? Who used my money to build the airport , and then after he was killed like a dog , they renamed the BEIRUT international airport "Rafiq Hariri airport "??? Ever heard of the fight against SOLIDERE , spearheaded by St. Georges Yacht Club ?????? Who closed the St. Georges road (ironically , he was assassinated right there ) for years after the assassination , causing traffic jam for years , for the sake of "truth "???? not to mention , causing the bankruptcy of the businesses on that road , while whining about how downtown Beirut was suffering from the "occupation" of the opposition supporters ???? Guess who took over Armenian property in West Beirut , by paying $3,000 for property ARMENIANS OWNED , to move them out , while paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to squatter Sunni Muslim families to move out of property that they did not even own ? Yes, guess who ? Not Hezb Allah, nor Aoun. WHo?? Your allies. Yes. That's who.!!!

I read Annahar (not the English one but the Arabic one ) , Assafir , Al Akhbar , Al Mustaqbal , Al Balad , etc ., and I watch New TV/ LBC / Future TV / Manar TV / NBN / etc , so what is your point . Maybe you should come to Lebanon , learn Arabic , and then judge , rather than teach me about Lebanon based on an English source which is not even a newspaper (naharnet ) , from the comfort of your home in USA ?

Btw , you know about the Treaty of Brotherhood , Cooperation and Coordination with Syria , I hope ? Or naharnet did not mention it ?

Why doesn't Hariri / Ramgavar / Jumblatt / Geagea , annul that treaty ? You know what it stipulates, right ? Legally speaking, Lebanon is now in a confederation with Syria. :inlove:

Who signed that treaty ? Doesn't naharnet tell you about that ?

And who paid for the hotel stay in Paris (in luxury rooms , thousands of dollars per night per person ) , for the leaders back in 89-90 for them to agree on a treaty that would bring Syrian hegemony to Lebanon for decades to come, while who ? Aoun was fighting Syria ?

If your love for Kata'eb stems from their so-called heroism against Syria , what does your hatred of Aoun stem from ?

And what does massacring ARMENIANS have anything to do with fighting Syria ???? How does it advance the anti-Syrian cause ???

Hariri was not my favorite guy, yes he stole money, but who re-built Beirut? He did.

They just caught a Hezbollah truck load of weapons coming in from Syria carrying weapons to cause trouble in other parts of Lebanon.

Authorities Seize Truckload of Arms Coming From Syria, Discover Explosives Depot

The Lebanese army seized a truckload of weapons coming from Syria intended for use in new battle fronts to ease pressure on Fatah al-Islam militants locked up in fierce fighting with army troops trying to crush the terrorists entrenched inside the Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr al-Bared.

The daily An Nahar on Wednesday said Lebanese authorities also discovered a depot containing more than 200 kilograms of explosives in house raids on suspected Fatah al-Islam militants in the northern Akkar province.

Meanwhile, Lebanese troops maintained their siege of Nahr al-Bared for a 17th day, fighting on-again off-again gunbattles with militants on Wednesday.

Security officials told the Associated Press the arms belonged to Hizbullah.

They said the shipment of Grad rockets and ammunition for automatic rifles and machine guns was seized late Tuesday at a random army checkpoint at Douriss near Baalbek, a Hizbullah stronghold in east Lebanon's Bekaa valley.

Six Hizbullah members in the truck were let go but the confiscated weapons were taken to the nearby Ablah army barracks, the officials said.

There was no immediate comment from Hizbullah on the weapons' seizure.

An Nahar said the truck driver, who was not identified, was arrested.

It quoted witnesses on the scene as saying that the driver tried to turn away from the checkpoint after he was taken by surprise, but that military vehicles intercepted the truck and arrested the motorist.

Under a U.N. Security Council resolution that halted last summer's fighting between Israel and Hizbullah, any transfer of weapons to groups other than the government is illegal.

The shipment's destination was not known. But An Nahar said the arms cache was planned for use in warfronts to be opened elsewhere in Palestinian refugee camps after attempts to start a warfront at the southern refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh failed.

Islamic militants in Ain al-Hilweh clashed with Lebanese troops on Sunday in an attempt to ease the military pressure on allied Fatah al-Islam guerrillas.

But Palestinian factions swiftly met and formed a joint disengagement force to quell the Ain al-Hilweh battles.

Back to the explosives depot, An Nahar said the army and police carried out house raids after nightfall Tuesday on the villages of Ayyat and al-Borj in the al-Joumah area in Akkar.

It said the explosives were found at the house of a suspected Fatah al-Islam militant detained four days ago.(Naharnet-AP)

No, wrong answer. We did. With our money. And we had no choice in the matter. He got what he deserved / he deserved what he got . !!!

Yes, you know, because HezbAllah is in the habit of firing Katyushas at Lebanese cities and civilians. Make more sense, please !!! Don't Ramgavars do leadership skills training ? Is this the best that a young Ramgavar can produce ? Come on , man, start making more sense !!! Support for Kata'eb does not justify not making sense !!!

So let me get this straight : israel could have won the war last summer, but did not want to ? or it did ? am i missing something ?

Dont flatter yourself. In a conventional war with conventional objectives ie. destruction of enemy armed forces, no other power in the Middle East can compare with Israel.

Israel may not have achieved its stated objectives in the war, but the real looser was the Lebanese population, not Israel.

Destruction of enemy forces ? You mean the 250 Hezb Allah fighters who died keeping 30,000 soliders w/ tanks / air force / navy , at bay ? Yes, very destructive.

Or you mean the infrastructure and the 1200 civilians killed ? Yeah, I must say, that seems to be quite a measure by which to assess a victory. By that token, UK lost WWII :D

Anyway , as for your last sentence , regarding the real loser being the Leb. population , the Leb. population believes otherwise. And the losers are those who think/know they lost.

You really think that Israel won the war?

As it has been pointed out, Israel was not able to reach its objectives. It thought it would be able to accomplish more than it actually did.
