Takoush
absolutely not true. Azat: About 6+ mos. ago I saw a video about Armenian lifestyle, and although the workers were blue collar workers; but they were all working. Now I don't know about white collar workers. Although I think Arvestaked has something there when he said that Armenians in the AR have to either think of creating new jobs and be inventive or shout to the government to think and create for them various job opportunities so that they won't have to leave the country. Sip
I think all Armenians should just move here in the US. Screw Glendale too ... we'll just take over Vegas and start a new Armenia. I'll move to Vegas if it's for my "hayrenik". http://s93725736.onlinehome.us/hf/fedai.gif

Artsakh
I want my 20-year old sister to create her future family here, in California with an intelligent Armenian man. Do you think that money grows on trees in California? Do you think money is easy to come by? I suggest you quit crying, and start focusing on your life within Armenia. There is no future on foreign soil. The future is Armenia. There is competition for jobs EVERYWHERE ON EARTH. If you really wanted a job, you can find a job in Armenia. --- Post edited by Sip. Artsakh
Furthermore, you are sitting on your lazy ass in the US all comfortable, there is no need for you to encourage others to come here, you're not the one in pain don't worry. If you are so concerned, why don't you send her money? I sponsor 2 families in Armenia and every month I send them money. How many do you sponsor? you are so concerned about the suffering of the individual, why don't you do something to alleviate that, instead of "woof woof woof" barking? Just for your knowledge, my friend's aunt leaft Armenia 15 days ago because she was a member of Gitutyunneri Akademia, and hadn't received her salary for 24 months. She also didn't have one of those "greedy" Armenians abroad to help her feed her children. I can see why she took her chidlren to another country...maybe to clean toilets... gamavor
http://www.rubiconownersforum.com/phpbb2/images/smiles/worthless.gif I would like to propose a preliminary payment formula: a = age b = bust size c = waist size d = height e = weight f = # of teeth g = subjective looks factor (1=Katherine Bell, ..., 100=Queen of England) paymet = alpha * [ a^2 * c * weight / (hight * b * f) ] ^ (g-10) alpha is a normalization factor depending on the type of currency being used as payment. So whats that got to do with anything? You are an irrelevant individual. I'm sorry you didn't understand my message. I was merely pointing to the fact that if you think you or your sister or whom ever is going to come here and live in luxury, you are in a great dillusion. and my offer still stands. Sip
Artsakh, the fact is that even the poorest people here have it MUCH better than the average people in a LOT of other places. I have never been to Armenia so I can't speak about Armenia per se. But having 3 siblings one in Stanford, one in Berkeley, and one in UCLA and then claiming you can't live here in "luxury" doesn't exactly add up. There are sooo many people in the world just DREAMING of the chance to go to even just a community college here in the US and working in McDonalds and would consider that faaaaaaaar more luxurious than their wildest dreams. Yet you sit in Kerchoff patio sipping on your iced cap royale and want to proclaim they can't expect to have "luxury" here in the US? Do you even have the remotest idea where and what they are coming from? COME ON NOW! Edited October 31, 2005 by Sip
MosJan
Harut: That's not a bad idea. I tell you marry someone as pretty and American as Brittney Spears; your idol, then take her to Armenia and have five kids. In Armenia you'll undoubtedly bring them Armenian; but what about Brittney Spears or the equivalent if she would want to come out to the U.S. again? Then you and your offsprings are in a bit of trouble. You'll be in square one again. You better make sure that your American beauty loves you truly and would sacrifice a bit staying in Armenia. et er pakas mer Harout@ et Brittney Spears's i het ?? vay merrnem chtesnem vayyy qorranam yes uremn mer Harout @ et durs @enkatsina arjani mi valokardin tveq - valedol ?
