  1. HELL YEAH, WE GOT RAMBO ON OUR SIDE! And Rocky, haha.
  2. Same could be said of Armenians. Actually, Ara has said it (or something akin).
  3. From his wiki page: "John was born into the Kourkouas clan, a family of Armenian origin. Scholars have speculated that his nickname "Tzimiskes" was derived either from the Armenian Chmushkik, meaning "red boot", or from an Armenian word for "short stature." A more favorable explanation is offered by the medieval Armenian historian Matthew of Edessa, who states that "Tzimiskes was from the region of Khozan, from the area which is now called Chmushkatzag."[2] Khozan was located in the region of Paghnatun, in the Byzantine province of Fourth Armenia.[3]" So, what does his name mean?
  4. Thanks Arpa, . Take a look at the language board if you have the time; your knowledge is required.
  5. The first song, even though I don't understand a lot of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puu0-5YM1Yc&feature=related
  6. Beautiful beautiful song. Doom/folk metal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOI_XqLiQmE
  7. Bach, The Art of Fugue. Listening, but not understanding.
  8. Azerbaijan attacking will result in the quickest resolution to this conflict. Armenia will recognize Artsakh, defeat the Azeris again, occupy more land, and threaten more action unless Azeris agree to peace terms. The international community would then pressure the Azeris into signing a peace treaty. That's how a !@#$%^& war should be conducted. Unless one side is decisively defeated, there is no peace. Unfortunately Armenia was unprepared the first time, but they must be prepared to fight a future conflict to resolution.
  9. Definitely. And there is much more in the Turkey files regarding Armenia.

  11. A house of God is a house of God I suppose.
  12. Not really, because I already get "What, you're Armenian?" enough as it is. But I do love speaking Armenian around Euro-Americans and Armenians, since both are equally surprised, haha.
  13. I'm not confusing them; I am referring to those Western values which you have designated "true." These values are anti-humanistic, and anti-individualistic. Of course, you and others are extremely proud of them, but that's because Western society loves the superficial - which makes the statement you said about "MTV multicultural values" ironic, since the only reason why those values exist are because our "true" values are just as shallow. And I'm not claiming other continents are morally superior. PS: Armenak, I consider you a better man because of your un-Europeanness, .
  14. Western values are a sham and an affront to the well being of a people. Western countries themselves need to move beyond them. So why should we choose to be like them? Look past them, not at them.
