At one point the impression was that all Armenian women are ugly as hell and ALL Armenian men are trying to marry other nationalities... However, the clip that was there as a sample looked like a poor resemblance of "The Bride from the North" (Harsnatsun Hyusisits). I would take that movie over this any time. Kakach jan, you're absolutely true about the stereotypes. If this was a realistic movie (judgeing from the quality of the film it was shot on), it should reflect the reality, which it did not. In absolute numbers it is even farther behind many more Diasporas. According to the first 'per capita' factor, we are behind Irish, Jewish, Lebaneese, and number of other nations. As to per number of Diaspora people, Italians, Greeks, Russians, French, Polish (Chicago is the second biggest Polish city after Warsaw )ect. Armenian Diaspora compared to many other Diasporas is 'mobilized' Diaspora. Not the most succesful, but influential. If we could direct this influence towards betterment of Armenia, we won't need Churches, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Museums and number of other time and money consuming endevours. The best parts of the movie are the last scenes b/c of Ara Gevorgyan's "Arstakh" track playing in the background, although I don't have that one. Can anybody send/post the mp3???? But Marseille, without a doubt has a larger Armenian community per capita of the population. This is probably similar with Glendale vs. NYC and Rostov-na-Donu vs. Moscow.
