I started watching a new Armenian drama called "Anna" Very powerful.

I watched Kanqi Gine, and I really liked it. I know that the language quality is not the best as the soaps are filled with jargon and basic every-day phrases/words, but they are good for someone who is learning the langauge and wants to learn the slang rather than the book language. From personal experience, what I learn in the books I rarely see being used. People laugh at me when I say "aystegh" instead of "stegh" and there are a lot more examples like this.

Of course, we would all like to see a really independent and powerful Armenia. However, today it is essential to be close with Russia.

Yes, the ending was really heart wrenching.

OMG i love that song too!! Can't stop listening, Araxia and Shtar did a great job. Anyways, I think this new Yerevan-Mosvka is better than the previous ones.

lol my cousin gave birth in Karabagh last May. there were 20 some births in May and in Stepanakert alone

Oh! thanks a lot! I've been looking for that, too! I'm listening to it right now...I guess it it's the song requesting hour. Everyone is calling in and congratulating everyone with the holidays... It was funny. this one man called in and started talking about the great Armenian nation, congratulating everyone with the New Years and such, quoting Eghishe Charents and requests get this....Alla Pugachova.. lol hilarious

yeah, these things aren't new to me as i am from the stavropol region myself. incidents of that nature in pyatigorsk and towns around are usually caused by circassians and other muslim groups who live there. i'm not exactly sure what they're trying to prove or accomplish with these acts of vandalism. there is a large armenian community in the town of budyonovsk. it was founded by armenians and its original name is "sourb khach."

just some computer knowledge is enough? i will keep this in mind to see if anyone wants to get involved. what exactly are you looking for in person. programming skills or computer operations, typing.etc?
