Serge Sargsyan: Armenia Open For Talks With Turkey
hosank replied to DeLaLa's topic in Republic of Armenia
what is being discussed here? the fact that there are armenian prostitutes in turkey or no? i could not say, for i have never been to turkey, but i know that there are armenian prosititues in dubai and so on, i have even seen armenian prostitutes in armenia. im sure there may be some armenian prostitutes in turkey, and that is something we must admit. we have alot of pride, and do not want to believe that that would happen. but we must realise that there are crooks, theives, prostitutes and all that within the armenian nation as well, once we affirm that, we will be able to work for a better future. erdojan said there are 70 thousand hayastancis in turkey, obviously, that number is quite inflated, but there are, i have heard of them from their own families in armenia. they do what ever they can to survive, we can't blame them about opening the border. in a way yes, it would be great for the economy of armenia to open the border with turkey. do not fool yourself, delala, by thinking that turkey would not benefit from it either, the entire eastern region of turkey is probably poorer then armenia herself. there is no economy, no jobs, nothing, only getting tourists to visit the churches of the armenians they murdered. the people of eastern turkey want the border open probably more then those of armenia. the only problem is that that would mean, for us, pretending that 1.5 million of us, were never murdered, which is like giving up our national identity (in the words of mister smith from the matrix: human being define themselves by their suffering), give up the entire artsax, which is historically ours, thus throwing away the sacrifice made by brave armenians (not just hayastancis, but spurkayes from everywere, the states, canada, lebanon, syria, france, and even bolis, we are all brave armenians, no matter how we look at it). personally i find that the humain price is much to great for the economic benefit of opening the border, on turkey's terms. lastly, a strategic point. officially, armenia is at war, that means that, under a double blocade, it has created a war economy, a very successful one at that i should say. this makes armenia's economy as stable as can be, something that no other country in the region could immitate. in other words, in the event of resumtion of hostilities with azerbaijan (which WILL happen), turkey and azerbaijan will not be able to shake armenia into economic ruin, because..they are already doing that now, and we are still surviving.. but if armenia allows itself to be too dependant on turkey, which is, no matter what you think it's stance is, delala, ever hostile to armenia, it will crumble. that is why i say that the border should not be open, on turkey's terms, i also want to point out that, as armenians, there is no destinction among any of us, there is no such thing as a hayastanci, amerikahye, barskahye, lipanahye...there is only HYE. which means we are all equally brave, and equally dedicated to our country. there are people here, who seem to be blind patriots of armenia, those people, often, have probably never visited the land. to those people i say, wake up, armenia IS a shait poor country, her people ARE suffering greatly. once we get that into our heads, then we can work together to construct a strong and powerful armenia. once we forget all the stupid stereotypes of hzkah hzor hayastan, we will manage to actually make a real hzkah hzor hayastan. there is such a thing as ULTRAnationalism, which is the blind one i spoke of earlier, but there is also the opposite, in which, you, delala, seem to fit, if you are indeed an armenian. you say armenia is not perfect, i totally agree, yet instead of bashing it, you should help us make it better, your loyalties are not to turkey, nor are those of any bolsahye, they are to armenia. -
lol

i think iraki armenians should move to the fatherland, last year, when i was there, i had seen many irakiarmenians
-
splendid
-
you mean commeries..since azerbaijan stayed communist 3 years after the fall of the USSR
-
that is true, azeris complain that 20 % of azerbaijan is occupied by armenia, but the reality is that azeris still occupy part of NKR, and an even greater proportion of armenia when you think of naxichevan, and the lands between georgia and shahumian
-
yes, we fully understand that azerbaijan is an artificial creation but just as you can say canadian french (which is still french) i assume you can still speak azeri turkish, as a dialect of turkish no? and i think that azeris are turks, not persians, but with persian genetic influences.
-
true, but it does also show us turkey's real modern intentions
-
the first video you posted was sorta stupid, and glorified asala...and in some ways made us look like the agressors..but eh..the other ones are good
-
i hope not.... giving the buffer zone (which is part of historical armenia) to azerbaijan would be strategic suicide, for we will be giving them all the highground, as well as a backdoor into artsakh. lachin is too vulnerable if left alone..

see, for once the order says something we can all agree on,,, and, i strongly believe that azerbaijan will try to start the war again, since negotiations are going nowhere. all territories under armenian control are armenian and will always stay that way. let them start their war, and we will take the other territories still under their control, and at least gain some part of 1918 armenia.. i hope we have learned a lesson from 1915 that our destiny is in our hands, not in those of the great powers...

mer fatherlande irenz motherlande biti gune lol...baterasmi untarsgum anyways, i find it funny, because azerbaijan, which has obviously lost the first war, always claimed it would start it again, saying it was the more powerful on an economic, political and demographic perspective. the reality is that, seeing as the negociations are going no where ,they are under pressure to make war. but they know that if they make war now, they will fail for they are ill prepared, and if they way too long, their economy will crash, some time after 2012, before they could start the war.. and, hellektor, what one englishman says is not representative of the whole english people's thought. also, the "jeudeo-saxon" theory is a myth..but besides from that.. to be honest, i have look at ceveral atlasses and though the maps depict armenia as stretching to the caspian sea, we never see the bounderies including modern baku..so i don't know if baku was ever built by armenians. i way always under the impression that it was built by the persians. but what you posted about the origin of the name was quite interesting actually i didn't know that... and as for a name, i suggest we name it after the valiant irlandahye soldiers who will have fought to liberate baku (wikipedia says there are 50 armenians living in ireland, plus we have irish armenians in montreal, boston and new york lol)...so, we can call it Dublinakert, or Ulsterashen...lol, now that would be a cool name actually, it's my video which you just happen to have played in...but yeh, flying fish, and the 3 spheres in the baku crest are pieces of shait falling from the heavens.. take care
