you must understand that both azeris and turks are of the same race, and therefore both equally are enemies.
when i was in artsakh, we did not make the distinction, we called the azeris turk.
in many patriotic songs, like Hye Katcher, when we sing about the liberation of Shushan, we say 'turkere'
i somewhat agree, yet i am not a member of any political party either. im not the biggest fan of the dashnaks, but there are aspects that i do like, for example their patriotism. but i think that patriotism should not be the halmark of the ARF, but of all armenians world wide.
i think that all the good points that the dashnaks have should be those of every armenians, and the bad points, eliminated. thus, in my opinion, the dashnaksakan party has no ..real.. reason to exist (sorry to the dashnaks on this forum)...because, we should all be dashnak, if that means to be armenian, or not be at all...
what i don't like is chauvinism displayed by some party members, as well as their socialist stance. i also think that their policies are outdated and need to be revised if that party wishes to continue it's existence. i do not see the need for any active political party outside of armenia, or lebanon, should it be ARF, Armenakan or Hunchak, since they cannot run in, for say, canada or something.
but anyways, this argument is not about tashnaks,
now, surely the dashnaksakan party is much better established compared to those in existence in armenia, but that is also true for the armenakan. the reason is that they have been established over a hundred years ago and have developed into several independent cells across the world with funding and so on. armenian political parties have only existed since 1990.
foreigner.
this has little to do with superpowers..the truth is that we did not need more land from azerbaijan, since we got what we were looking for. we just needed a buffer zone.
what is still in their hands however is naxichevan, and that would have been hard to invade for it may have brought turkey into the war.
