Another Armenian who let his "dakh irun" control him. We must use our intellect to control our emotions. I have perfected this to a "T." If I had been ruled by my emotions, I would have been long dead. Discipline, discipline, discipline. Manoukian would have become one of the world's greats had he lived. He would have found another love and had a pleasing life. Too much hot blood among our people, controlling their intellect! The shock when I turned on the TV in an international hotel in 1999 and saw what had transpired in Yerevan.

Manoukian's suicide was predicated by his falling in love with a married woman. He was an artist-in-residence at one of the mansions of the elite when he became involved with a close friend of his patrons. She wasn't going to leave her wealthy husband for a man with whom she had a fling.

Call every Congressperson and US Senator in your region. Constantly network with your local political party apparatus. I do this with the Democrats around the country that I have known for 45 years. My tentacles go to everywhere around the country. Don't limit your contacts to only the ANCA or AAA. You have POWER. Little old me has toppled very powerful persons. Power to the PEOPLE, in this case the ARMENIAN PEOPLE.

Johannes or is it Ohaness? I may have forgotten how to read the Armenian that I learned in Armenian school, but the MIT can read every word you write here. So you are a fool to think that by writing in Armenian script that you are keeping your thoughts secret.

Yervant, I know that the men in my family never changed their Christian religion up to moments before they were to be killed. I really don't know how they amassed almost the whole province. I know that they had close connections in the Sublime Porte. There are books written about them and I know that my great-grandfather was a representative to some Ottoman Parliament and that my grandmother was friends with Dolores Zohrab Liebmann. They were Catholics and went to grade school and church together in Constantinople. .

Arpa, How do I post only the title and not the whole article?
-
SO TRUE! In one case it was a fellow Armenian. In the other case it was a Turk killing an Armenian. THIS MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE!!
-
Arpa, I remain presently a Chrisitian but I may convert to Buddhism. Will it be justified that another Armenian shoot me too?
-
Yes, I have been there numerous times, but my body has remained here. To understand this discrepancy read the books by the late Virginia, USA television executive Robert Monroe.

I have found Armenians in parts of the world that no Armenian would ever expect. I have found Armenians in the family trees of persons that no one would ever expect. We have been banished to EVERY corner of the globe. I would not be surprised if Armenians are included in the first settlers in outer space!

Turkey Calls On Azerbaijan To Prepare For War
phantom22 replied to Aratta-Kingdom's topic in Artsakh
Nothing new. Pan-Turanism never burned out. It is still alive and well in the "deep state" of Turkey. They have ALWAYS wanted Armenia and Armenians to DISAPPEAR! -
What kind of convoluted KA-KA is this? Go to the eastern part of the present Republic of Turkey and see for yourself what has become of the Armenian provinces. Massive massacres are Genocide! How many ways can you split a pea?

Dissing Armenia In A Tourism Article?

Christian fundamentalists? Haven't they made enough of a mess of the US, now yu want them to pollute Armenia? -
As Cher jumps from relationships with men and women and back, and Kim Kardashian hops in the sack with black rockers (Ray J) and white women heirs to millions (Paris Hilton), official Yerevan throws a temper tantrum over an art show. Is Yerevan a suburb of Tehran?
-
Has Charnock "INSULTED ARMENIANESS". Oh please Yerevan, get over it!

Dissing Armenia In A Tourism Article?
phantom22 replied to Dave's topic in My Visit Or Memories Of Armenia
This writer is an absolute CRETIN. She didn't study the recent history of Armenia. She knows nothing about how difficult the situation has been with the Turks and Azeris trying to bury Armenia. When I was there we only had hot water for one hour a day and I was staying in the top hotel in Armenia. There is a phrase to describe women like that in the West. I was married to one (an Armenian one). The phrase to describe this Jennifer Conlin is PRIMA DONNA. -
...and a few blocks west on the same cross street that the Cathedral sits (34th Street) is the century-old Armenian Evangelical Church. The Cathdral is an architectural gem with a large usable plaza and the Evangelical Church is a historical cultural landmark.

Boghos, Unfortunately we have MORE than our share of idiots, such as the female Armenian "intellectual" you refer to. I know these IDIOTS only TOO well. Numerous times I was treated poorly by the insiders at social functions at that Cathedral. I was not "Armenian" enough to suit them! Boghos, the Cathedral you refer to is on SECOND Avenue, not Third Avenue. As for the diocesan bookstore, I frequented it many times while searching for my roots and found my ancestors in books purchased there after being raised as an odar surrounded by Herias and Anglos.

Hellektor, If we go to the US Congress and state that NO Armenians exist in Western Armenia, the legislators would not know what we are talking about. They would think that this was ROA west of Yerevan. I do not use the term because I like it, but because that is what will help make our case.

One of my Armenian clients is married to a Japanese woman. They have two teenage boys who like FOOD!!

Hayvanoglu is a political mouthpiece, not a true historian. He operates like a politican not a historian.

Azeris have NO business in the Genocide issue. The Genocide of 1915 was an Young Turk activity. Why did Aliyev give this guy an award? Yeah, there was no Genocide but almost NO Armenians remain in Eastern Anatolia. If that is not Genocide, what is?

Fadi, This comment comes from one whom you despise. BRILLIANT DEDUCTION, FADI!! I have found similar fakers on other websites. These guys seem to be "Joe Turk," a mere citizen Turk when in reality they are pro-Turkish academic scholars from the US.
