  1. You will rarely, if ever, hear homosexuals or bisexuals discuss sexual practices in mixed company with heterosexuals. Yet the social conservatives do this all the time, as if they have a fascination. I rarely find liberals of either persuasion (heterosexuals or homosexuals) poking their nose into the bedrooms of the other camp. It is only the social conservatives who do this.
  2. It was an Italian homosexual doctor, converted to Islam, that took the most pleasure in torturing Armenian priests during the Genocide. I wonder what it was about Armenian theological beliefs that drove this converted Italian to such evil deeds?
  3. Heck, the pharmacies in the Albany region must be selling a lot of anti-acid these days. I think I will ask them for a cut of their profits.
  4. Hey Arpa, Why don't you chastize Artsakh, who raised this issue here in relation to Ataturk? They were the one who took this to the next step, describing what they claim was done to Ataturk. So it is OK for Artsakh to mention this stuff but wrong for me to set the record straight? It is OK to discuss this in relation to Ataturk if you can find ways to degrade him, right? Heck, the Genocide was a reality. What is to be gained by dragging Atuturk through the mud and describing what Artsakh described?
  5. Yeh, Yeah, Yeah Every one of my posts? Get Real! Most of my posts have been articles pulled from the Internet. Well, when you live in Los Angeles in a neighborhood among the movie stars, you come into their circle. They are your neighbors, the people next to you at the supermarket parking lot, the person before you at the barber/hairstylist. You bump into them everywhere. When you eat at a restaurant, they are sitting at the next table. When you get politically involved, you meet them at social events. I was 16 when I got politcally involved with a US Senatorial campaign. You wouldn't believe the people that you would meet like this. As for being the Hye Forum idiot, I consider this a "Badge of Honour." Years of mingling with the Anglos and Heryas, plus years of intense study and I no longer see the world through an Armenian prism alone. I can relish the positives of being Armenian without succumbing to the taboos.
  6. Hey Irlandahay, Who is claiming to be related to everyone? My brother married a Jewish woman, converted to Judaism and through her family's contacts became very wealthy. I married an Armenian woman whose family was more well-connected than my brother's inlaws and the marriage destroyed me both economically and emotionally. Hell, I have had more help in my life from Jews than my fellow Armenians, who have done everything to bring me to my knees. I have a number of first cousins and some second cousins. I know who they are and where they live. We are remnants of a much larger family who were annihilated in the Armenian provinces of the Ottoman Empire. The men of my family from Bolise were also executed. Hey Irlandahay, the prominent Bolsahyes all knew each other well, and if they were of a minority Armenian Christian sect they stuck together like glue. You can not believe what the Loosavorchagan leaders would say about these Catholics and Pochcagans, so they rallied together. As for my life, wait until my autobiography comes out. I will obviously write it under a pseudonym and change the names of the persons mentioned. Yet astute people will be able to ascertain whom I am speaking of. I don't want to destroy lives. Reagan's daughter wrote a similar book. I didn't seek out these people, it just happened. Often I did not realize who my close associates were until well after the time I met them. They would conceal who their family were in a sign of humility, I suppose. Anglo families from old money don't throw their identity in your face like the nouveau riche.
  7. Yeah, there are Jews lurking under your bed at night and in the dark corners of your gardens. Cut the s**t.
  8. Artsakh, You got it "ASS BACKWARDS." It was part of the Ottoman culture which was inherited from the Greeks. Older men would do this to young boys. It was meant to bring about "bonding." I must say it sure was bonding wasn't it?
  9. My former mother-in-law would state that there is no crime among us, no sexual deviance, no murder, nothing but purity. She was probably smoking the same hashish as her close buddy the POTUS.
  10. This is the first time that I have heard that Stalin was half Jewish. I guess you think that the half-Armenian toy industriallist Wong in Moscow is extreme also. ...and what are we, the chosen people? Interesting that some of us mock others in that regard others when that is clearly the view that so many Armenians have of themselves.
  11. Yeah? Yeah? Yeah? one has nothing to do with the other. Were Stalin and Mao homos? They killed millions. Stick to the pertinent issues about the Genocide
  12. The two Sassounian brothers operated in different ways. I ask you who has been more successful in bringing the Armenian Cause into world consciousness, the brother who shot the Turkish ambassador outside my door or the journalist who has made waves? "The pen is mightier than the sword!!"
  13. There was a time when I switched over to an "R." When Phil Depoian was treated sub-human by his fellow Democrats solely for being Armenian, I was SO disgusted that I changed my registration, first to "I" and then to "R." Since when do I need your or anyone's approval to make a comment? Do you, Arpa, ask approval before you make a comment? I remember very well my support of "R's." A local Congressman, our neighbor, who knew my mother well, I supported. Ditto other "R's." I wasn't exclusively a "D" until the foaming at the mouth mad-dog crew took charge of the "R's." It is the "D's" who are pushing for Genocide Recognition at present. They know what the Genocide was all about. Why do you think that the Turks are expending so much capital to try to quash these non-binding bills in the US Congress? 50% of Americans have stated that they will not vote for Hillary under any circumstances. How can anyone with such high negative numbers become President?
  14. This is Bush's "last hurrah" before the "tsunami" hits his administration. They will strike before everything starts to unravel in Washington. It is questionable whether Bush will be retired before his term ends. Even Republicans have been whispering "impeachment."
  15. I am not related to the Queen of England, nor to her late daughter-in-law. Yet her late daughter-in-law was 1/64 Armenian. It is in the British Peerage Records. So the future king is most probably related to some of the Armenians from the East Indian colonies. One of those Armenian named families is definately related to me. I know exactly who my cousins are, both those who died in the Genocide and the few who survived (and their progeny). My grandmother told me that her family line was descended from the younger brother of one of the Kings of Cilician Armenia. It seems that the papers were hidden in a clock in their home. Her parents and whoever of the family who were there in 1915 did not get out alive. That antique clock may be long gone, in some Turk's home or may be in some Turkish antique shop. Grow up kid.
  16. Nope, not full of s**t. Go to Yad Vashem and read the names of the families who saved Jews during WWII.
  17. Older version of Hagarag would be Dick Gautier who resembles Hagarag. Younger version could be the guy that Egoyan had playing the antagonist in "Ararat." Perhaps some other young actor, Armenian from Giligia background or Stamos perhaps.
  18. Armenak, I know that you have stated this in sarcasm, yet I am writing an autobiography as fiction (as did Reagan daughter). No novel could be more intriguing than my life experiences. I single-handedly flushed out Peck's Armenian heritage that was divulged to me by his relative after I got her drunk at an exclusive restaurant. Then my overseas cousins verified this. I could never give real names in my book. It would destroy lives. Then I have contacts in the industry, so hopefully it wil be made into a movie. So many twists that it will keep the viewers glued to their seats.
  19. Hey Arpa, I'm with you on this one. all my cousins, both on my father's and mothers' side, who have visited Armenian sites within the Turkish state have encouraged me to go to these sites. I have stood at the shores of Rhodes looking toward Turkey. I have been at the Armenian border looking at Mt. Ararat and the ruins of Ani, but I have NEVER entered the Turkish state. These foolish Armenians will now flock to Lake Van to bring their Western Dollars, Francs, etc. to the Turkish economy. Why should I support a nation that took my father from being a student at a private prep-school in Germany (heir to a massive fortune) to an orphaned hammal in Berlin and then Paris (his mother lived through the ordeal, but was permanently mentally incapacitated).
  20. You guys are being sacreligious. Have some RESPECT! The man has died and you are telling jokes. You barred me from the Hrant Dink thread and yet I would NEVER mock the dead, especially a fellow Armenian. What a double standard some of the mods have!
  21. And a few years ago DNA tests found that a majority of Ashkenazi Jews are closely related to Kurds and just a little farther from Armenians. Now how does that play into this discussion?
  22. The site is closest to the village of Silvan.
  23. I read about this some time ago. I don't keep on file every article that I read. I have things more critical to my job and academic studies to keep everything on file. It was in an Armenian publication, but I do not remember the source. The location of the site of Tigranakert near Siirt is well known. This could be easily documented by visiting the site to see its before and after condition.
  24. Sorry, but this is a misnomer. The earlier name for Diarbekir was Amida. Tigranakert was located somewhat east of Diarbekir near Siirt. Turkish troops went there a few years ago to obliterate whatever remained of this Armenian capital.
