Yes, Armenians never Armenized people. Yet when a nation is a tolerant one assimilation naturally occurs. The Poles never Polishized the Armenians in Lvov, yet a majority of the the Armenians living there assimilated and lost their Armenian identity.

I have never stated that Vartan Mamikonian was Chinese, as I know that one of his newly arrived ancestors had married the daughter of the Armenian Archbishop. That was a few generations before Vartan. I will try to find Vartan's genealogical chart on the Internet and post it in this thread.
-
Romina, you hit the nail on its head. I have been told by Armenians that because I am 1/8 Assori that I am not an Armenian. These guys are going apoplectic over the supposition that Vartan Mamikonian may have had 1/36 Chinese blood. You have labelled them as to what they are.

The social universe is changing a drastic rate. Gloabalization is upon us. How are we going to deal with it as a people and as a nation? That is the key question.
-
There are 8 million Armenian worldwide. There are 1.3 billion Chinese in China alone, not counting Taiwan and the worldwide Chinese diaspora. Given that ancient Armenian historians clearly documented the Mamikonian origins, do you think that Kupelian is going to risk losing that huge market to satisfy the ennui of Armenian nationalists who are so uncomfortable with what may be the truth?

Not only do I not take Prozac or Lithium, but take no drugs WHATSOEVER. God did nor place us on ths earth to fatten the coffers of the pharmaceutical companies. I agree with you that Armenians should discard their Turkish surnames. As for historical truth shutting people up does not lend to scholarly research.

Where have I stated that "Furks" (Turks) have been in our lands before us? Where have I stated that Turks are Aryans? Anatolian Turks are a mix of Central Asian Turks, Greeks, Armenians and Slavic Muslims. Armenians are mainly Urarteans (Nairi) but have assimilated numerous other peoples unto their ranks including East Indians, Chinese, Jews, French, Germans, even Mongols. Bedrosian did not use Soviet sources to reach his conclusions, so how does that impact the issue of Mamik and Konan and their thousands of followers who entered Taron province in 221 AD?
-
Sorry, we Armenians have butchered our own compatriots. The Armenian Paulicians and Tondrakians were exiled to the south of France and Bulgaria or killed by our nobles.

When I discovered an article dated 1937 that proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Sinan was an Armenian, no one here questioned the source. The Royal Asiatic Digest article was published in 1937. When I mentioned that Ataturk discussed the massacres of the Armenians and other Christians by the Young Turks in a 1926 interview with the LA Times, no one here questioned that. So what if it was published in 1981. Are you implying that Robert Bedrosian, who is employed as a finance manager, yet holds a Ph.D in History from Columbia University, was influenced by Soviet mentality? I have studied Soviet policy in college. Bedrosian is an American scholar. Read his other works before you judge his credibility. I guess if we Armenians come to terms with this Chinese issue, it will greatly undermine the belief that we are pure Aryans while the Turks are not. That would make the Armenian world-view collapse. Our differences are cultural and not necessarily racial. Armenians have been great warriors, but we have never been butchers. Turkish history is filled with butchery. Just ask the Chinese. Why do you think that the Great Wall of China was built? To keep the Turkish and Hun barbarians from butchering the Chinese.

When I lived next door to UCLA there was a neighbor in my building who was 1/4 Japanese. Her father was 1/2 German and 1/2 Japanese. Her mother was Spanish (from Spain). When I met her, I thought that she was Armenian. If she did not tell you you would not know that she was part Asian. As for the Turks/Huns they could "smell" their Chinese prey. After the Great Wall of China was built these "carnivores" could "smell" Chinese blood as it drifted to the West. I have no dout that they could "smell" the Chinese strain among the Armenians. The historians have the Mamikonian story pinpointed to the Han dynasty and use the term Chenbakur to describe the Chinese Emperor. Laugh all you want , but there is corraborating evidence to this story.

We have survived for thousands of years. We will prevail. ROA is undergoing growing pains. I advise all of you to read the political history of Singapore before you open Armenia's grave.

This has to do with his desire to join the EU. He knows that the AG isssue is creating problems for his country's wish to become one with Europe economicaly. Turkey is a Moslem club where Christians; Italian, Armenian and even Turkish, are currently killed like wild dogs. He is not fooling anyone in Europe.

Please note that when the Eghesis cemetery was studied by Armenian and Israeli archaelogists jointly, it was found that in the 1300's Jews owned land in Armenia. What other country other than Armenia allowed Jews to own land in that era! We should spread this around and SHAME those Jewish organizations who work against us.

If you Google "Eric Cosman" you will find that he is a very prominent scientist and inventor, now retired. Why doesn't some Armenian organization contact him about renewing his roots and helping with Armenian Causes?

I am proud of my Assyrian brothers and sisters who also suffered under the Turkish yoke. I am especially proud of my half-Assyrian, half-Armenian sister Congresswoman Anna Georges Eshoo who is a great supporter of the Armenian Cause as is my 1/4 Jewish, half-Armenian sister who is now running for Congress and will be a great asset to our cause. When I retire in a few years, I will finish writing my book under an Armenian pseudonym. I will not name specific names but everyone will know whom I am referring to (just like the novel that Reagan's daughter wrote). Alexander the Great and his Golden Apple, yes, and the Chinese princes whose progeny saved the Armenian nation. As for Christ, he stated that the way to everlasting life was through his teachings. Unfortunately the essence of his teachings have been lost to humanity at present.

I forgot to mention my maternal grandfather who was beaten to death by Turkish henchmen of the evil Governor of the Vilayet.
-
I do not insult the memory of my great-grandfather, great-grandmother and my paternal grandfather whose murders are well documented by Armenian historians, nor my other great-grandfathers, great-grandmothers, my aunt, my uncle and whole families of cousins that died in the Genocide. I am not justifying anything, that is your spin on what I have written.

Follow the money confiscated from the butchered Armenians and you will have the answer to your questions. The factor seperating the righteous Jews from the non-righteous Jews all comes down to to self-interest. Doenmeh! We have to work toward our national interests with whatever support that we can gather. We will never win over those Jews who have a vested pecuniary interest, only those who see our struggle as a moral imperative.
-
We are working on what you propose, while the Turkish establishment works zealously to enlarge the number of Jews who are working worldwide against Armenian interests. I honestly have no idea who Tulad is. As a matter of fact I have never heard that name before.

I can join the members of "The Last Supper" any evening that I wish to. My "time machine" is the teachings of the late Virginia television executive Robert Monroe.
