We shouldn't forget the constant incursions that the Israeli army was making in Lebanon during the months preceding the war. Those are breaches of Lebanese sovereignty by an external force. Oh, and they're the ones who made Israel retreat from Southern Lebanon in the year 2000.

They're not hiding behind families of South Lebanon, they are the families of South Lebanon. That still doesn't justify Israel's killing of Lebanese civilians and destruction of Lebanese infrastructure even in areas where there's no Hezballah.

According to what Israeli officials said, the war wasn't aimed at the Lebanese population. Yeah right... So all the death and destruction in Lebanon don't mean anything? If the Zionists are able to target innocent women and children, then fine, let them do it. After all, that's the only thing that the Zionists CAN do properly. All that Hezbollah is doing is defending Lebanese land. It does not need to "finish off" the IDF.

You really think that Israel won the war? As it has been pointed out, Israel was not able to reach its objectives. It thought it would be able to accomplish more than it actually did.

Everything in life isn't a question of benefit. Did you expect that lightning would strike all those who participated in the 1915 genocide? That is true only in words. Christians have rarely applied that rule. Besides, the world does not need any more war-mongering religions.

Lebanese Christians are some of the greatest victims of Israeli propaganda, through pro-Zionist channels such as the LBC. During the 2006 war, my aunt even got a taste of the IDF's propaganda through her phone in an automatized message, telling her that she'll be safe since she's in a Christian area blablabla... The truth is that Israel only cares for its own interests, and there were strikes in Christian areas as well. There would have been more if there were no Western tourists around.

But Hezballah is the people of Lebanon. The Lebanese army would never have been able to take on Israel on its own, because it's not strong enough. Lebanon can't just suffer the consequences of losing. The main advantage that Hezballah has over the conventional Lebanese army is that it is an easily maneuverable small, but tough guerrilla force. Only Israel's actions are comparable to those of the Nazis.

I doubt that the Lebanese government would ever deliver the first strike against Hezballah, because Hezballah is Lebanese, whilst Fatah al-Islam and Jund al-Sham aren't. These 2 terrorist groups don't even serve the Palestinian cause, unlike Hezballah. They don't represent all Palestinian refugees either. Fatah al-Islam merely wants to impose Shariah in the Palestinian camps and Jund al-Sham means "Soldiers of Greater Syria", which gives you an idea of how much they care for the liberation of Palestine.

This isn't a rule of Chirstianity because it isn't written anywhere in the Bible. It is not Jesus' fault if some Christian leaders distorted the message of Christianity.

Actually it's true, from Lebanon to Canada. It's not related to poverty. Muslim men marry multiple women, and they have plenty of kids. For example, Suleiman the Magnificent made hundreds of kids with his wives and harem women (who, by the way, were Christians). That's certainly not related to poverty. I think that this way, if some men take multiple women, some people are left single. Thus it permits the single men to go for other causes (terrorism) instead of founding a family.

What is wrong with Allah? Christian Arabs say Allah but that doesn't make then any less Christian than us Armenians who say Asdvadz or those who say God or Dieu.

I think we should just accept his beliefs; Armenian nation has many more issues to deal with. Besides, I doubt anyone else would follow his footsteps. If he truly believes in it.

It is fine with me if you want native Christians to abide by your traditions. But why don't you Muslims do that in the West? It is always the Islamic countries vs. the others (either Christians, Jews, etc). It is never France vs. Greece, England vs. Ukraine, etc. Thus there's a religious motivation. Well they're the ones who paid for the renovations in the mosque. That's what they did in Karabagh as well. However, Azeris and Turks do no such things. Turkey merely renovated Akhtamar (without even adding a cross on top) in order to get praise from Europe.

As I said, it's a form of segregation/classification, which is unacceptable. I never said inferiority. There some places that are forbidden for Christians to enter (Mecca), and no churches can be built in Saudi Arabia in general. If you're allowed to convert to Islam, I think people should be allowed to worship Christianity, or convert to Christianity as well. You make no sence. Besides, the Ottoman Empire wasn't the only Islamic empire. Is this really relevent to the discussion here? Turkey has no choice but to protect their Azeri brothers, or else they would have been crushed by Armenia. Besides, Iran has historic ties with Armenia, and it's only 1 Islamic country. The Islamic Conference supports Azerbaijan and demands Armenia's unconditional withdrawal from Karabagh. I've noticed that as well, she's exaggerating it a little. But it is true that the Muslims are the ones who started the whole thing by expanding from the Arabian Peninsula and stirring up the whole region. All of Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, etc used to be Christian (Byzantine). There were not religious motivations for the massacre of the Jews, unilike the Armenian genocide. Another point that I forgot to mention: Armenians weren't the only ones killed during the 1915 genocide. Assyrians, as well as Pontian Greeks were massacred too. You still don't see a religious motivation. Nowhere in the Bible it is writen that we have to do Crusades to be good, as opposed to the Koran which asks Muslims to kill the 'kafirs' in order to access the 40 virgins in heaven.

Regardless of all the details, what Islam officially imposes is nothing less than a form of segregation. Who are they to think that Christians are inferior to them? Then you don't have an idea of how Armenians were treated in the late Ottoman period. We are led to believe that most of Azerbaijan and Turkey are secular because of the Soviet Union's influence on one side, and Mustapha Kemal on the other side. Besides, if Christian Armenia is close to Shiite Iran, and if Tashnagtsoutioun is close to Hezballah, why wouldn't an alliance between Turkey and Azerbaijan be possible? The same could be said in regards to Christianity (Rome, Constantinople, Moscow, Echmiadzin, etc) And yes, Christians were considered second-class citizens, and had to pay more taxes. This way, Arab and Turkish leaders made the poorer people convert to Islam. Moreover, Armenians had to pay taxes to the Kurdish tribes so that they'd "protect" them. During the Armenian genocide, Ottoman leaders used Islamic rhetoric in order to incite ordinary Turks, Kurds, and Cherkez against us "kafir"s. A Jihad had been officially declared against us. So it wasn't only because of our Armenianness... Anything that divides the Armenian mainstream is unacceptable in my opinion.
