Turkish products are sold to Armenians in Lebanon and Syria too. Even in Canada, some Armenians buy Turkish products. A Lebanese grocery store near my house sells it and it has a lot of Armenian clients. For example I've seen products called Ulker (pretzel sticks which I think are Turkish) and Hazer Baba products. Fortunately this grocery store sells some Armenian products as well. The other thing that annoys me is the fact that many Armenians listen to Turkish songs and watch TV shows, but these are more popular with the older generations. It's despicable. My Armenian teacher at first grade used to tell us that if we see our parents listen to Turkish music, we should smash the cassettes lol

Yet another anti-syrian MP falls in Beirut...

The fact that some random Brit went to Arabia to help Arab nationalists supports the author's idea. In reality, the British Empire would have wanted a united Ottoman Empire in order to deal with a single nation in its trek towards Asia. And that's what actually happened. Many Great Powers didn't agree that Armenia should have been independent during the various congresses. Does this guy think that Armenians would have been better off under the yoke of the Ottoman Empire? I do not agree. Why are you only mentioning the ARF? He also said the Hunchags had crypto-Jews among them. I see them as being more valid to the author's ideas because they care less about the Armenian cause than the Tashnags. It was in fact to stop the bloodshed between revolutionary Armenians and the Sultan's Turks. It was to capture attention, and the Zionists did give importance to it because it seemed to threaten their precious assets in the Ottoman Empire.

Are you talking about the Hamshenis ? I think that we need to go beyond the Millet system that the Ottoman Empire created, which forced us to see Armenians as Christians only, and Muslims as Turks. Even though Islam isn't good...

Most of what he says are interpretations of facts (some of them outlandish), and he goes off-topic a lot, but I find his views interesting anyway. It's good that this has been exposed to the Armenian public via TV, and didn't just stay in some obscure website. I'm sure they wouldn't have invited such a person in mainstream American TV, and if they had, they'd ridiculize him.

There were Azeris and Central Asian Muslims too. So what? You agree with the Holocaust??

Wasn't Levon Der-Bedrossian's wife a Jew?

To those who were talking about Lebanon's ethnic and religious mixture in certain regions... If there are some Muslims in majority Christian areas, then there are Christians and Druze in majority Muslim areas too, no? For example, in the South, there are some Christian villages. եւ յահուտիները

It's no surprise that Turks are denying their actions.

There were no breakthroughs during the peace talks, but both sides reaffirmed their willingness to continue the talks later. As usual...

No I think they're saying that Monte has killed Tashnags.

The US won't change its policy in regards to Israel and the Islamic world overnight. Ever since Israel's foundation, the US has been supportive of the Zionist state, because of, as Shahan said, there are Zionists in top positions in the American government. The American people need to revert the brainwashing that has been done unto them in order to see the Zionists' bad intentions. That's practically impossible with the current Republican government and the neo-cons. Zionism should also be toppled in Israel as well. Zionism is basically the Jewish version of nationalism, an archaic 19th century ideology. Jews should see that Zionism is taking them to doom, instead of solving problems. They should see that they can live side by side with their Arab neighbors; they're all humans after all. They should quit their chauvinistic views. Everyone who valorizes the Holy Lands (be it the Muslims, Jews, Christians, and even the Bahai) should be able to freely live in it and pray in it without being under the constant threat of hard-liners. But that's an initiative that the Jews will have to take. I suppose you're talking about the Armenian genocide. I think that they should keep the Armenian genocide denial laws, but remove the Holocaust denial laws, even though it'd be criticized as "double-standards". The Jews have enough enforced their Holocaust in the minds of Westerners in an effort to gain sympathy and to promote Zionism. They've done that enough. The Holocaust is very important in the promotion of Zionism; freely discussing the issue (I don't know if that's even possible at anymore) would devastate the support for Zionism.

The misconceptions about Lebanon are unbelievable...

Well Azerbaijan is closer to Iran, so the Russian plan certainly is appealing to the US. The missiles are also to be built in Azerbaijan, I think. I guess Russia doesn't own a radar facility there. In Azerbaijan, it does. Isn't it weird that this comes at a time when the Karabagh issue is "close to a solution"? Actually Russian officials had already arranged this with the Azerbaijanis prior to the proposal.

Basically, the Armenian situation was comparable to that of Hezbollah. Both of them successfully defended their areas regardless of all predictions.
