It covers such varied terrain that there are multiple construction, engineering, and public safety challenges involved. There is a significant stretch of unpaved, dirt-covered road that changes dramatically in width at different intervals and involves as many as 16 bridges and overpasses, 339 sharp turns, 17 of which are serpentine configurations. Other sections have been partially blocked due to landslides or river swells, adding to the hazardous conditions. Finally, new road signage, protective barriers and other modern standards of road safety must be installed to meet current safety standards and government regulations. The constructor will provide 5-year warranty for the road. Building an alternate route between Armenia and Karabakh is the designated campaign theme of the upcoming Armenia Fund’s 16th International Thanksgiving Day Telethon. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is leaving for Austria tonight to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Before that Armenian and Russian Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Sergey Lavrov are scheduled to meet in Moscow today. A few days before the meeting the Azerbaijani side opened fire in the direction of Armenia’s Tavush region to make it clear to the international community that it’s a conflict with Armenia, not Karabakh political scientist Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan says. Remind that on Saturday the Azerbaijani armed forces opened intensive fire at civilian vehicles on the road towards Vazashen village. The incident took place hours after the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs presented a report to the OSCE Permanent Council. In the report the Minsk Group Co-Chairs reiterated the position of the co-chairing countries that there was no alternative to a peaceful settlement. Also, they stressed the importance of the meeting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents, which, they said, could give new impetus to the negotiation process. According to Vice-President of the Armenian National Assembly Edward Sharmazanov, the violation of the ceasefire regime is another proof of the fact that Azerbaijan aspires to frustrate the negotiation process. “Such actions of the Azerbaijan armed forces shattering regional stability and peace should be strongly condemned by the co-chairing countries and the international community,” Sharmazanov said. Political scientist Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan considers, however, that the incident pursues a different purpose. “The ceasefire violations before presidential meetings or during the visits of high-ranking officials to region are meant to call the attention of the international community to the fact that it’s a territorial dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenia, not Artsakh,” he said. Many analysts consider that Armenia had to pose preconditions for the Sargsyan-Aliyev meeting after axe-murderer Ramil Safarov was released and glorified. Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan has studied the judicial aspect of the issue and concluded that although Safarov’s extradition and his further release and glorification was strongly condemnable from the moral point of view, there were no legislative violations either on the part of Hungary, or Azerbaijan. What should be expected from the Sargsyan-Aliyev meeting? “The Minsk Group Co-Chairs will express their satisfaction that it became possible to organize a presidential meeting after a long break. They will note that the Sargsyan-Aliyev meeting will give new impetus to the negotiation process, and that’s all,” Levon Melik-Shahanzaryan said. Aliyev was advised to pretend making compromises then negate in all his promises as soon as the Azeris get their hands in the Armenian lands. He was advised that the leaders of the Western powers like England, France and USA rule only for few years and then are replaced by others who would not give a damn what happens to Armenians. In his turn the Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu agreed to be part of this deception by expressing the readiness of Ankara to renew the process of normalizing relations with Yerevan, which will be only in temporary basis until the occupation of the Armenian lands is solidified by Azerbaijan. Getting a positive message from the Azerbaijani side for progress in the Minsk process, Minister Davutoglu is expected to urge the U.S. to push the negotiations over Nagorno-Karabakh." In his first official visit to Washington after last year’s U.S. presidential elections, he will meet his U.S. counterpart John Kerry and have a meeting with Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. Following his trip to Washington on Nov. 17-18, Davutoglu will head to Russia to attend the Turkey-Russia High Level Strategic Cooperation Council’s meeting on Nov. 21-22, with a delegation headed by Prime Minister Erdogan. Near the end of November, reports have been made that Putin will visit Armenia to consolidate Armenia's consolidation into the Customs Union. All of My Words, contained in the Holy Gospel, will be interpreted differently. They will say My Word means something new, which will be more relevant in the world today. They will try to give examples as to how I would teach you, were I to walk the Earth at this time. Gone will be the simplicity of the Word of God, which is for everyone. Those who are intelligent, knowledgeable and who are proud of man’s progress in the world of science, will then begin to make insulting statements. The Church will embrace so-called new scientific discoveries, which will discredit what is contained in the Holy Bible. They will reveal what they say will be new evidence, which casts doubt as to how the world was created. They will then say that much of what is contained in the Bible are simply metaphors designed to create peace amongst men. They will use the message of humanism, love of one another, in terms of your ability to look after the poor, uneducated and needy, as a substitute for the Truth you were given in the Gospels. Then, the false new doctrines which will seem similar to the Truth, will be embraced by priests, and only those who remain firm to My Word will keep the Truth alive. My beloved followers, when you find that very few will listen anymore to the Truth – the Word of God – then you must comfort each other. You must continue to remind those in My Churches, who will applaud the heresies, which will be introduced, of the Truth for many of them will be none the wiser. So far will they fall away from Me, that they will readily accept such changes. It will be much easier for those with little faith to accept the word of those who demand reformation, than to remain true to the Word of God. The call for the first changes will be made soon. With a sweetness that will soothe and passionate talk about the need to rise up as one united world – to show love and tolerance for all – you will be led into the greatest error. Many will be shocked at how quickly My Church will seem to embrace the secular world. Many will be enthralled at the way in which different religions, pagans and heretics, will scramble to join this new, one world charitable church. They will say: “At last a church which is tolerant has reached out to all.” No longer will they feel ashamed to show disobedience to God. Instead, they will proudly proclaim that their wretched sins are not only acceptable in the Eyes of God, but they are no longer deemed to be sins at all. This will create great rejoicing everywhere. For the first time in history, those who lead My Church into error will be loved, adored and virtually no criticism leveled upon them. What God is telling us? That in order to overcome we Christians have to lift our hands in worship. Moreover, when Christians NOW lift their hands and jump on their feet, they are expressing their JOY in Christ, the joy that God the Father and the Holy Spirit gives, and after that most Christians are in deep study of the Word of God, which means their particular worship is only one aspect of their life in Christ; heavy study of the Bible is another, fasting is another, and fervent prayer or praying fervently as Christ commands is another. So let us start by.. Lifting up our hands Are we to lift up our hands to God in worship? Are we to lift up our hands in prayer? Why lift up hands to worship and pray? What does it mean to do so? The word hand appears in 438 verses in the Bible. The Bible indicates two ideas--blessing and supplication. In many cultures stretching forth the hands is an indication to entreat another person to help, to give something, or to come. (Job 30:24, Proverbs 1:24; Isaiah 65:1-2; Jeremiah 4:31; Lamentations 1:17). Hands were extended for prayer in the direction of God's dwelling (1 Kings 8:22; 54; 1 Chronicles 6:12, 13; 1 Kings 8:38- 39; cf. 2 Chronicles 6:29-30; Psalm 28:2; 134:2). Hands are lifted up to God in heaven. Hands express the inner man. It expresses a desire for some response from God. To lift the hand to God means invoking His help. Hands are an attempt to offer a blessing to God. Lifting up hands in praise to God is an attempt to impart a blessing to God. Pros and Con "From the Old Testament scriptures it is obvious that believers commonly prayed and praised while lifting their hands. The First Letter to Timothy assumes the practice among males in Christian assemblies as late as 60 A.D. Reaching out signifies entreaty, supplication, and dependence. It's like saying, "I'm waiting Lord for you to fill my cup so that it's full and overflowing." Other times you may stretch both hands heavenward and by that you are saying, "God, I desperately need you to solve this problem in my life." On other occasions you may hold one hand up as a victory salute to the Lord. There is no obligation for anyone to lift their hands in worship. Lifting your hands does not make you more or less spiritual than those who don't lift their hands. For me and many other people, we have found that expressive worship is powerful and satisfying." Any form of worship or style of worship is dictated by God not man. There's basically two sides to the question of lifting up hands within the meetings or fellowships in worship—one, it's practiced and anyone may do so. The other is, they don't practice it and do not encourage others to do so. At our home fellowship we do because we feel led of the Lord, and that the Scriptures teach that we should. We encourage others to do so if they wish, but we do not force others if they have not come to that conclusion. Our point in this message is to allow the Scriptures to teach us. I have never seen "penlites" written in USA for tobacco smokers but they are doing it in Russia. As to the other point, if you take an American well-used bill, like $20 for example, and do lab test on it, the result will be many drugs residues coming from it. If you have a dog's nose and rub your finger on that well-used bill, then bring your fingers to your dog's noise --you would smell drugs. This has not happened in Russia yet with their paper-money.

Jerusalem artichokes (or Sunflower Artichoke; or earth-apple as labeled in the above article by Armenpress) are commonly cultivated for its edible tubers, the tubers used as a substitute for potatoes, have 650 mg potassium per 1 cup (150g) serving. They are also high in iron, and contain 10-12% of the US RDA of fiber, niacin, thiamine, phosphorus and copper. Rural Armenians who depend on potatoes all winter as the main stable could have an alternative by eating the tubers of those artichokes that were first cultivated by the Indians of North America. The English labeled the name "Jerusalem artichoke" to it. The edible tuber is highly nutritious and, unlike potatoes, contains no starch, but rather carbohydrate in a form that is metabolized into natural sugar. The tuber has also the allied substance Inulin. The chief ingredients are water, 80 per cent. albuminoids, 2 per cent.; gum, known as Laevulin, 9.1 per cent.; sugar, 4.2 per cent.; inulin, 1.1 per cent. Jerusalem artichokes can be used also as animal feed (lucky animals! I would not agree with that statement "the west is a couple of decades ahead of russia", in many areas the West may be ahead but Russia's ban on marijuana is stemming from care and consideration they have for their own people and the future of their country. Marijuana may have some beneficial use & effects, like their use in medicine and like making the stressed persons be relaxed and happy for few minutes (followed by a bad habit of addiction), so indeed the damage they do to individuals and society far out-waits those superficial goods. Does marijuana do any good to the spirit of man inside him? IT DOES NOT! The new process will become the dominant technology by which liquid fuel is produced, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev’s Prof. Moti Herskowitz, the Israel Cohen Chair in Chemical Engineering and VP and dean of R&D, said in a statement, as such techniques as “carbon dioxide capture from various sources including air and water splitting, become technologically and economically feasible.” The process was developed by Herskowitz, Prof. Miron Landau, Dr. Roxana Vidruk and a team at BGU’s Blechner Center of Industrial Catalysis and Process Development. The world is in great need of a sustainable alternative fuel source because crude oil has limited availability and turning it into liquid fuel causes significant damage to the atmosphere, while the current alternatives are simply not taking hold. For instance, the United States Energy Information Administration has predicted that that by 2035 electric cars will account for less than 5% of the total sales, according to the statement. The BGU team believes that their new discovery can be the solution because it does not face the same technological roadblocks as electric cars and other alternative fuel options, specifically production and delivery infrastructure. Their “green feed,” made from the two substances, is similar in substance to synthetic crude oil and could be turned into a liquid fuel using the same technology used for converting syncrude and subsequently delivered to gas stations using current infrastructure. The researchers acknowledge that not all of the technology is in place to make the venture immediately feasible in its ideal form. Specifically, water splitting technology that would make the cost of producing hydrogen competitive with that of natural gas has yet to be developed. However, they believe that the process could be implemented in stages, “beginning with carbon dioxide, water and natural gas, biomass or bio-gas as the starting products and ultimately evolving into a technology that requires only carbon dioxide derived from the atmosphere and water.” Herskowitz said he was confident the new technique, which could make use of established and commercially available technology, would become a reality within five to ten years. The Saylorsburg property consists of a massive chalet surrounded by numerous out buildings, including recreational centers, dormitories, cabins for visiting foreign dignitaries, a helicopter pad, and firing ranges. Sentries stand guard at the gates to the estate to turn away all curiosity seekers. Gulen fled Turkey in 1998 to avoid prosecution on charges that he was attempting to undermine Turkey's secular government with the objective of establishing an Islamic government. Gulen, according to the Middle East Quarterly, was a student and follower of Sheikh Sa'id-i Kurdi (1878-1960), also known as Sa'id-i Nursi, the founder of the Islamist Nur (light) movement. After Turkey's war of independence, Kurdi demanded, in an address to the new parliament, that the new republic be based on Islamic principles. He turned against Ataturk and his reforms and against the new modern, secular, Western republic. Turkey is now ruled by the Justice and Democratic Party (Adalet ve Kalkinma, AKP)- - a party under the Gulen's control. Abdullah Gul, Turkey's first Islamist President, is a Gulen disciple along with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Yusuf Ziya Ozcan, the head of Turkey's Council of Higher Education. Under the AKP, Turkey has transformed from a secular state into an Islamic country with 85,000 active mosques – one for every 350- citizens – the highest number per capita in the world, 90,000 imams, more imams than teachers and physicians – and thousands of state-run Islamic schools. Gulen's tentacles stretch throughout Turkey since his followers, known as Fethullahists, have gained control of the country's media outlets, its financial institutions and banks, and its business organizations. This individual has toppled the secular government of Turkey and established madrassahs [Muslim schools] throughout the world. His schools indoctrinate children in the tenets of radical Islam and prepare adolescents for the Islamization of the world. More than 90 of these madrassahs have been established as charter schools throughout the United States. They are funded by American taxpayers. One of these charter schools – Tarek ibn Zayed Academy (TiZA) in Minnesota – is so radically Islamic and subversive in nature that the Minnesota Department of Education issued two citations against it and the American Civil Liberties Union is suing it. Dozens of his universities, including the Faith University in Istanbul, train young men to become lawyers, accountants, and political leaders so that they can take an active part in the restoration of the Ottoman Empire and the Islamization of the Western World. This individual has amassed a fortune – over $30 billion – for the creation of a universal caliphate. In his public statements, Gulen espouses a liberal version of Sunni/Hanafi Islam and promotes the Muslim notion of hizmet – altruistic service to the common good. Publicly Gulen has condemned terrorism and called for interfaith dialogue. At present, there are 85 Gulan madrassahs (Islamic schools) in the United States, and all operate with public funding. According to Stephen Schwartz of the Center for Islamic Pluralism, the 85 Gulen schools advance and promote Islamic beliefs; present the Ottoman Empire, which lasted from 1299 to 1923, as a golden age; and serve to rewrite history by denying the Armenian holocaust under the Turks during World War I. Many of the teachers at these schools are Turkish émigrés with questionable credentials. Some possess H-1B non immigrant visas which should only be granted to individuals who possess “highly specialized knowledge in a field of human endeavor.” The female faculty members appear in their classrooms wearing hijabs and traditional Islamic attire. Critics can’t understand why the schools are staffed with imported elementary and secondary school teachers when thousands of trained and certified American educators are begging for teaching positions. But are the schools really subversive? Rachel Sharon-Krespin writes: “His (Gulen’s) followers target youth in the eighth through twelfth grades, mentor and indoctrinate them in the ışıkevi, educate them in the Fethullah schools, and prepare them for future careers in legal, political, and educational professions in order to create the ruling classes of the future Islamist, Turkish state.” Even more telling is a comment from Nurettin Veren, Gulen’s right hand man for 35 years, who said: “These schools are like shop windows. Recruitment and Islamization are carried out through nigh classes." The use of the Islamic practice of taqiyya or deception to mask the true nature of the schools has been upheld by Gulen himself. Fethullah Gulen has been called the “most dangerous Islamist” in the world. He has amassed a fortune – thanks, in part, to the CIA – of $25 billion. This money has been used to transform the secular government of Turkey into an Islamic Republic under the Justice and Democratic Party (Adalet ve Kalkinma, AKP) – a party under the Gulen’s control. Abdullah Gul, Turkey’s first Islamist President, is a Gulen disciple along with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Yusuf Ziya Ozcan, the head of Turkey’s Council of Higher Education. Under the AKP, Turkey has transformed from a secular state into an Islamic country with 85,000 active mosques – one for every 350 citizens – the highest number per capita in the world, 90,000 imams, more imams than teachers and physicians – - and thousands of state-run Islamic schools. Despite the rhetoric of European Union accession, Turkey has transferred its alliance from Europe and the United States to Russia and Iran. It has moved toward friendship with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Syria and created a pervasive anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, and anti-America animus throughout the populace. Gulen has also established thousands of schools throughout central Asia and Europe. Because of their subversive nature, these schools have been outlawed in Russia and Uzbekistan. Even the Netherlands, a nation that embraces pluralism and tolerance, has opted to cut funding to the Gulen schools because of their imminent threat to the social order. This is simply too cool not to share. When Jack was 13, a close family friend of the Andrakas developed pancreatic cancer and passed away. Deeply shaken and struggling to come to grips with the loss, young Jack began learning as much as he could about the disease through online research. What he found depressed him further still. Cancer is no joke in any of its forms, but pancreatic cancer is an especially difficult strain to treat. Detecting cancer in its earliest stages is key in beating the disease, but the traditional method for checking for pancreatic cancer hadn’t changed in over 60 years. It was slow and expensive, costing $800. Worst of all, it was woefully inaccurate, failing to properly diagnose cancer which was present roughly 30 percent of the time. The result of these factors has been delayed detection, with pancreatic cancer often not found until it has also spread to other vital internal organs, and a survival rate of less than 2 percent. In advanced stages, the cancer is often inoperable, and even if the tumor is reduced, the chance of recurrence is high. In Andraka’s mind, the outdated detection method was simply unacceptable, and modern science had to hold a better way. In order to detect pancreatic cancer, doctors have to spot a minute irregularity in the level of one of the over 8,000 proteins that can be measured in the bloodstream. Andraka hit upon the idea for checking for this irregularity using a piece of paper containing a carbon nanotube, a tube of carbon with a thickness of a single atom, mixed with antibodies that would react in the presence of the protein. While his method worked in theory, Andraka would need access to more advanced lab equipment than was available in his high school biology classroom in order to perform proper testing. Filled with optimism, he drafted a research proposal and sent it to 200 institutions. The response was overwhelming, but not in a good way. In less than a month, Andraka received rejection notices from 199 of the research centers. But just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Andraka was contacted by Johns Hopkins University, which had agreed to work with the teen innovator. Seven months later, Andraka’s new test for pancreatic cancer was complete, and the improvements it represents are astounding. Andraka’s method is 168 times faster than previous tests. It’s also amazingly affordable, costing just 3 cents. Most importantly, it’s 400 times more effective at accurately diagnosing pancreatic cancer, and may also be applicable in testing for other types of cancer and HIV, as well. Accolades have been swift in coming for the deserving Andraka, including generous grants from Intel and other donors, which the young man unsurprisingly says he plans to spend on furthering his education. The first layer will provide a shield against attack by stealth aircraft, drones and cruise missiles for all of Egypt’s airspace, including the Suez Canal, the Red Sea and its coastal waters, up to the central Mediterranean. Our military sources add that part of the system will be positioned in eastern Egypt for the protection of key Saudi cities as well. 2. The second layer will be built around sophisticated surface missiles with ranges that cover all points in the Middle East including Iran. Moscow and Cairo are keeping the types of missiles secret. Saudi Arabia is putting up the estimated $4 billion to pay for the transaction. The Russian delegation will include the first deputy director of the Federal Service on Military-Technical Cooperation, Andrei Boitsov, and officials from state-arms exporter Rosoboronexport. Egyptian officials continued Tuesday to deny reports that a Russian naval base would be established in an Egyptian port as “illogical,” saying it would “undermine the country’s independence and sovereignty.” However, according to our sources, planning is already underway for the deployment of some 1,500 Russian military personnel in Egypt to have the new missiles up and running and local personnel trained in their use by mid-2014. A similar number of Russian naval and marine servicemen have been assigned to setting up the naval base, most probably in Alexandria. We have learned that the visiting Russian ministers and Egypt’s rulers will also discuss permission for Russian warships to dock in Egypt’s Red Sea waters opposite the Saudi coast. Several thousand Russian military personnel will therefore soon be deployed in Egypt, 42 years after the entire body of Russian “military advisers” was expelled from the country by President Anwar Sadat. The visit to Egypt by Lavrov and Gen. Shoigu was heralded at the port of Alexandria by the arrival of the Soviet Pacific Fleet flagship, the guided missile cruiser Varyag. Egyptian Navy commanders greeted the ship with unusual honor, including a gun salute. Varyag will remain in the Egyptian port for the duration of the Russian ministers’ stay. According to Shoigu, the sides agreed to set up a working group for drafting a general agreement on all areas of bilateral military cooperation, as well as to hold a series of anti-terrorism and anti-piracy exercises. Shoigu said earlier in the day that Russia was seriously inclined to developing close military relations with Egypt and intensifying bilateral contacts. The Soviet Union and Egypt enjoyed close ties during the 1960s and early 1970s, when the Arab country was led by Abdel Nasser. But within years after the death of Nasser, the new president Anwar Sadat started reorienting the country toward the West and expelled about 20,000 Russian military advisers in July 1972. Bilateral relations have since never warmed up to the previous friendship level. For Moscow, the renewal of military ties with Egypt could signify a return in force to the Middle East while US diplomacy is failing all over the region. While Russia is putting fines on those who smoke tobacco,the West is legalizing smoking marijuana Fines for Smoking in Public in Russia Take Effect MOSCOW, November 15, 2013 (RIA Novosti) – Russians now face fines for smoking in public places, including near metro stations and airports, under new amendments to a broad anti-tobacco law that came into force Friday. Smoking within 15 meters (50 feet) of entrances to the metro, train stations and airports, as well as near hospitals, schools and playgrounds, is now punishable by fines of 500 to 3,000 rubles ($15-$90) in Russia, where nearly half the adult population smokes. Though the ban on smoking in public places came into force on June 1, the offense was not fineable until November 15. Fines on tobacco advertising and enticing minors to smoke also came into force Friday. Encouraging under-18s to smoke will incur fines of 1,000-2,000 rubles ($30-$60), or up to 3,000 rubles ($90) if the smoking advocate is the minor’s parent or acquaintance. Smoking propaganda – including advertising special deals like two packs of cigarettes for the price of one or distributing cigarettes for free – is punishable by fines of 2,000-4,000 rubles ($60-$120) for individuals, 5,000-25,000 rubles ($150-$765) for officials, and 80,000-600,000 rubles ($2,450-$18,360) for legal entities. The final part of the anti-smoking law, which President Vladimir Putin signed in February, will take effect next year. Starting June 1, 2014, smoking in a number of other public places, including cafes and restaurants, will also be forbidden. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev targeted tobacco as a pet project last year, an initiative greeted positively, for the most part, in Russian society. A 2013 survey by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center found that more than 75 percent of Russians support a ban on smoking in public. Some 60 percent of men and nearly 22 percent of women in Russia are smokers, according to a 2010 study by the World Health Organization. Russian officials have estimated that the new anti-tobacco legislation will save 200,000 lives a year.

On Nov.15, 2013, Russian lawmakers approved a government bill banning advertising for abortions. The bill approved by the lower house of parliament, marks the latest effort at restricting access to abortion as Russia battles to boost low-birth rates. Soon Armenia will follow suit and BAN ABORTIONS TOTALLY since she suffers also from low birth rates. According to RIA Novosti from Moscow, abortion was a common method of birth control in the Soviet era and Russia still had the highest number of abortions per woman of childbearing age in the world in 2004, according to UN data. A law passed in 2011in Russia made abortion legal only up until the 12th week of pregnancy. Some exceptions for termination up to the 22nd week of pregnancy are still permitted in the event medical complications or rape. The banning of all abortions in Armenia will be a welcome sign for spiritual, moral and demographic reasons at a time when besides low-birth rate Armenia is suffering from emigration of her people for one reason or the other.
