In light of this recent message from Jesus, I need to update the list of candidates for the role of the anti-christ which I gave or made previously. Now Obaba is out of the list because he is not "fluent in many languages" he knows only English. Putin is out also since besides Russian he knows German and some English, and he is not the type of playing the role of the antichrist and claiming to be receiving messages from God, moreover he is too old for antichrist who is going to be between 40-50 years old. My first candidate in the new list is Michael Saakashvili from Georgia, he is fluent in many languages, besides Georgian and Russian, he is fluent in French and English, (and hopefully soon Armenian). He proved his ability in organizing tax collection and getting rid of corruption, so he will try (and may be given the chance) to rid this world from its corruption. He organized business and trade in Georgia successfully. Then he proved he is very capable to play the role of a dictator, like the antichrist would do. In Georgia he was referred to as "the Messiah figure"; he may want to expand his "messianship" over the world. Saak showed that he is able to deal with the Muslims, he was in good terms and rapport with the Turks & Azeris and other Muslims. He was in partnership with Israel and the Jewish people so this is a plus. Moreover Saak is a bit crazy and only crazy persons will defy and mock God, so he fits the description. The next candidate is a Jewish one in Israel, since he will have influence on banks and give the embedded-under-skin chipped mark of the beast with a number like in credit cards; take note the banks in the world are mostly run by Jews so it's not unlikely that they will push forward a Jewish candidate to play the role of antichrist. Is Benjamin Netanyahu the antichrist? He or someone else coming after him could be. Another new candidate is the Egyptian general Sisi. So by "false prophet" Jesus may be referring to the pope Francis or to the pope coming after Francis. Personally I think the false-prophet is the one coming after Francis because the currant pope is too old and he may pass away anytime soon from old age. They will look at me with their big, innocent eyes and try to make sense of what they’re hearing. It isn’t always easy explaining what happened even to adults, so how am I going to explain it to my kids? There is so much I want to share with them, so much I want them to know. You see, my story is one of hope and forgiveness and salvation, and of the glorious healing power of God’s presence. It’s the story of what I saw and what I learned when, during a hospital stay, I left my body for nine minutes and went to heaven and stood before God. And it’s the story of how, when I came back to Earth, my life was profoundly and permanently changed—changed down to the very core of my being. But it is also a story that, for the longest time, I didn’t want to tell. I live in a wonderful town in southern Oklahoma, in a community of friendly and God-fearing people, a place where passion for Jesus runs deep. Still, I know how much damage a juicy piece of gossip can cause. I was a teacher—someone parents trust to teach and care for their children—and I was afraid that if people heard my story, I’d be shunned and ridiculed and maybe even fired. I was afraid people would think I was flat-out crazy. And even though God’s instructions to me could not have been any clearer—“Tell them what you can remember”—I struggled to understand why I had been chosen and what exactly He wanted me to do. I struggled, because I’m the least likely person to be telling anyone about God. Put simply, I’m not ever going to be on any short list for sainthood. Early in my life I was a sinner, and I’m pretty sure I broke every one of the Ten Commandments. That’s right, not just some—all ten. Even the big one—Thou shalt not kill. When I was younger, I committed a sin I believed to be so grievous and so unforgivable, I was sure God could never love me, if He even existed at all. And that was the other thing about me—when it came to God’s existence, I was a skeptic. I had grown up in the heart of the Bible Belt, been baptized not once but four times, gone to church regularly, and heard a million sermons about God. And yet, deep in my heart, I wasn’t convinced. Over and over I challenged God to prove He existed, and every time He did. I’d set up a new roadblock, a new challenge for Him to overcome. I saw the hardships in my life as evidence that God had no interest in protecting me from harm. I questioned Him, and I cursed Him. And at times I vowed to cut Him out my life. And still—and still!—God chased me and wooed me and loved me and chose me, and then He sent me back to this world to share a message. And so, eventually, I began to tell my story. I told strangers in restaurants, customers at Walmart, and patrons eating ice cream at Braum’s—anywhere and everywhere I felt God’s familiar nudge. “Excuse me,” I’d say. “My name is Crystal McVea, and in 2009 I died and went to heaven.” How’s that for an icebreaker? And what happened after I started telling the full story of my journey to heaven is a remarkable, miraculous tale all its own. Now I am sharing that story with you, in this book. Believe me, writing a book is not anything I ever thought I’d do. Why should we believe anything she says? One response I sometimes get is, “Oh, Crystal, I believe that you believe you saw God. I just don’t know if I believe it.” That’s just a polite way of saying I’m either lying or crazy without actually having to say it. The truth is, I know my story is hard for some people to believe. I know what I went through is beyond the realm of what we can experience on Earth. Listen, if someone had come up to me before this happened and told me they had died and stood with God, I’m pretty sure I would have been skeptical, too. But I also know this book deals with the biggest and most important questions of them all: Does God exist? Is there a heaven? What is God’s plan for us? Why are we even here? I certainly don’t pretend to have all the answers. In fact, I still have plenty of questions. Nor am I claiming to be anyone special. I’m a run-of-the-mill American mom living in the heartland. In 2007, only 17 percent of people aged thirty or younger said they had some doubt that God was real. In 2012, that number went up to 32 percent. Then there is a recent comment from Professor Stephen Hawking, the famous Cambridge scientist. “There is no heaven or afterlife,” he said in a 2012 interview. “That is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark.” Maybe the Pew poll and Hawking’s comment should upset me, but they don’t. And the reason they don’t is because I used to be one of those doubters. I understand the skepticism, because a skeptical streak still runs through me. As a kid I questioned everything, and as an adult I’m still nosing around, searching for answers. And while I no longer have any doubts about God and His power, I also realize that I am lucky, because I got to stand with Him. For many others, faith is about believing in a God they can’t see. And for some, faith means believing in a God they have questions about. Just because you have questions doesn’t mean you can’t have faith. Although Armeniaremains in the sphere of Russian influence, this is not preventingit cooperating with NATO within the Partnership for Peace programme.Armenia has thus far been held back from a total reorientation towardsthe West -and there undoubtedly is such a desire -by the two centuriesof allied relations with Russia and geopolitical requirements of themoment. It is only this that is preventing it taking decisive stepsin accommodation of the North Atlantic alliance.The American presence in Armenia is not yet dominant. But it couldbecome such unless Russia responds to the new world challenges in aregion of strategic importance to it.

In her book, “Waking Up in Heaven,” McVea detailed her experience flat-lining as a result of complications from pancreatitis. During doctors’ rush to save her, the wife and mother of four says she ascended to heaven, met angels and interacted with God. McVea, from southwest Oklahoma, knows her story sounds unbelievable, which is why she almost didn’t write the book. But in the end, she decided she needed to be heard. In an interview with TheBlaze, McVea said she was once the biggest skeptic who couldn’t rectify the pain and suffering she went through as an abused child with the existence of a supposedly loving God. But she says her experience in heaven changed all that. How She Ended Up in Heaven The former teacher remembers being in the hospital on Dec. 10, 2009. After accidentally overdosing her on pain medication, doctors called a code blue and worked on McVea for seven to nine minutes, all while her mother watched in horror as her daughter lay dying. “I remember almost every detail. I remember being in the bed. My mother was at my feet and I remember starting to drift off — and I remember opening my eyes and telling her that I loved her,” McVea recalled. “I remember just closing my eyes in that bed and I opened them and I was standing in the most beautiful tunnel of light I could ever describe.” McVea said she instantly knew she was in heaven. The difference within her was noticeably profound. Negative feelings and emotions were gone and she said it was as though all knowledge had been instantly downloaded to her brain. “On Earth I was chained with human emotions like shame and guilt,” she told TheBlaze. “I had an abortion as a teenager. After that abortion I thought, ‘I’ve done it now — if he was real, he could never love me now.’” But in heaven those thoughts were suddenly gone. McVea said while she knew she was dead, she was overtaken by a level of happiness she had never felt. She also soon realized she wasn’t alone. “I had two angels standing to my left whom I recognized as angels immediately … they took on vaguely human shapes,” she said, describing them as emitting an amber light. [I also met those two angels personally years ago. MAN] She recalls communicating with the angels, but that she didn’t need to use words to do so; it was as though they all could telepathically and effortlessly speak with one another. Meeting God It didn’t take long to realize that there was a third figure nearby. To her right, McVea said she recognized God. After years of lamenting over his existence and wondering why he would have allowed her to suffer through sexual abuse at such a young age, as well as other challenges, she said she instantly fell before him in worship. “What I saw and felt was just this beautiful, radiant, glowing light. That’s the only word I can even think to decide it,” she told TheBlaze. “But I was very aware that I was in front of the presence of the one true God. I’m a Christian. I believe it was the presence of the father, and the son and the Holy Spirit.” McVea loved heaven so much in those moments that she had no urge to return to earth. But she says the Almighty gave her a choice. “In that instance … God showed me my four children and he told me I could go back and be their mother or I could stay there,” she remembered. “For the first time in my life I chose God … I chose to stay with him. I’m so glad that he allowed me to remember that.” As God, the angels and McVea moved toward the light, she says God told her that the decision was final and once they crossed through she wouldn’t be able to go back. At the time, she felt completely comfortable with this choice. As they continued toward heaven’s gate, she said God showed her something she’ll never forget: He conjured the image of a little girl laughing and playing — a child that McVea felt intensely moved by. “My spirit could not contain all the love I had for her. When I looked back down at her, I recognized her as me,” she said. McVea believes God wanted her to know that he never abandoned her even in her darkest hours, so he showed her herself at the age of 3 — before sexual abuse forever changed her life. The love McVea felt while looking at herself, she believes, is the same compassion and care God has always had for her. The experience allowed her to see herself through God’s eyes and, as a result, healing took place. As they were approaching the gate at the end of the tunnel, McVea said she suddenly heard her mother scream her name. As a result, she was instantly filled with compassion and asked God if she could return briefly to tell her mother she was OK. God again gave her a choice. “I just felt such pity (for my mom) and I turned around to find her voice — and (God) said, ‘Tell them what you can remember,’” she recalled, noting that she responded, “I’ll remember everything and I’ll be right back.” Coming Back From Heaven McVea suddenly opened her eyes and found herself surrounded by nurses, doctors — and her grieving mother. As they bombarded her with questions to ensure she was alert, McVea said she kept trying to drift away back to the tunnel, but was unable. “I felt trapped,” she said of her inability to escape back to the afterlife. Over time, McVea slowly came back into herself, but things had profoundly changed. While she didn’t remember all of the details, she said some of what happened in heaven has remained with her. Today, despite skeptics who doubt the veracity of her story, McVea maintains that everything happened as she described. She told TheBlaze that those minutes during which she was considered physically dead actually account for the time in which she has “been the most alive.” McVea certainly isn’t the first person claiming to die and meet God in heaven. There are many with like testimonies. So there should be TRUTH in all those visitations to Heaven. What about you? In America if an an Englishman says to a Spanish "learn to speak English!" The Spanish will respond: "Why don't you learn to speak Spanish?" and the English will oblige and go to night school to learn Spanish. In the same way, when Georgian officials say to the Armenians of Javakhk "learn to speak Georgian!" They should respond to them: "Why don't you learn to speak Armenian?" Saakashvili for once promised to learn to speak Armenian -now that he is off duty and has plenty of time for it!

Hayots Ashkhar daily reports that while in 1988 the number of followers of religious sects did not exceed 10,000 in Armenia, now, Oct 2013, their number reached the 300 000 mark, which represents more than 10% of the Armenian population. The daily considers this figure as concern since in Russia, this figure would be only 1%. --- At this rate, in a decade or two half the population of Armenia is going to follow one kind of cult or another. In 50 years the Apostolic would be a minority and Armenia will have a total new face. When the Apostolic have lost their contact with Jesus, thieves belonging to the enemy of Jesus have stole and made havoc midst them, a desert where flowers no longer bloom! In diaspora the figures would be more optimistic since Armenians of diaspora in general adhere to their old religion and consider the cults as alien to them and to Armenianism.

This message from Jesus looks important because in it he uses the same word, "modern" as was used by Catholicos Karekin II during the General Synod held in Etchmiadzin from September 24 to 27, in 2013. Karekin II said: “We are an entire century behind the opportunity to modernize the church”. Jesus said: "The wickedness of the beast will be disguised as charming and modern..". So this message apply and is directed to the ears of the Armenian Apostolic Hierarchy to watch out for this modernization concept since Satan already has his own modern image for the church of Jesus which is planning to usher in stealth.Jesus does not need modernization; He is the same yesterday, today and forever(Hebrews13:8). In place of modernizing the Armenian Apostolic Church has to go to her ancient roots and make personal contact with Jesus so that they obey and do what Jesus tells them. By "beast" or dragon Jesus means satan, the fallen angel Lucifer; by "false prophet" He means the pope in flesh and by "antichrist" He means a world politician in flesh. The beast or satan usually works from the invisible dimension affecting and influencing the false prophet and the antichrist. He will insult every vessel in My Church through actions, words and the addition of Satanic symbols. Only those who know the Truth will see these abominations and understand exactly what such gestures really mean. The power of Satan can confuse, distract and torment My disciples. He, Satan, will never leave you alone, especially when you bear witness to the Truth. But know this – he can be overcome when you trust in Me completely. When you abandon yourselves before Me, he will not be given the power to influence your faith in Me. He, Satan, is finished. His reign, painful though it was for humanity, is at an end. His final insult before Me will be carried out through the antichrist, who will imitate Me and fool the world into believing that he is Me, Jesus Christ, and that he has come to save the world. When you know the Truth, you will be able to withstand this temptation. When you remain firm to the Truth, contained in the Most Holy Bible, you will be saved. The final attack will be swift and then I will show the world the Truth and only those who are full of hatred for Me will deny it. Do not fear, for I Am the only Saviour of humanity. Not that I was watching the game, rather watching the audience with a trembling heart & tearful eyes, my spirit rising within me with a strong desire to hug each one of the audience with bear hugs!

The Tale of Two monasteries Today Echmiadzin, the original name was Vagharshapat, (located about 12 miles west of the capital, Yerevan, between the biblical mountains of Ararat and Aragats) remains at the center of Armenian spiritual life. It is here that King Tiridates III of Armenia converted to Christianity in 301, the Emperor Constantine of Rome watching jealously the developments in Armenia put his empire on a similar path, just after ten years, preferring Christianity for the Roman empire over paganism, he said "if Armenia can do so we can" so goes the story and thus Rome owns its state religion conversion to Armenia, something that Vatican, in jealousy, is not quite admitting yet. The conversion of the king of Armenia is credited to St. Gregory the Illuminator, who become the first patriarch of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Living in Vagharshapat ( or Echmiadzin), the capital of Armenia at the time, Gregory reportedly had a vision. In the vision the skies parted and a ray of light blazed down, Jesus materialized from the ray of that light with a golden hammer in hand and struck the ground near the pagan altar located in a pagan temple, and suddenly as the result of that hammer blow a new altar-shaped structure appeared amid a column of fire with a cross shining above it. While Jesus' altar is 10 yards before the current erected altar, the faithful are supposed to kiss this old altar, made by Jesus, when going to church. When going out of the church it is suggested that they walk backward and never turn their back to the altar so that they will be blessed. It was on that spot, over the destroyed pagan temple by the hammer of Jesus, that Gregory oversaw construction of the Cathedral of Echmiadzin; in Armenian "miadzin" means the Only Begotten [son] and "ech" means the descend. In late September, Armenian church leaders gathered here for a rare bishops’ conference. In that conference, Karekin II, who is the equivalent of the Armenian pope today, said: “We are an entire century behind the opportunity to modernize the church.” How he did miss the mark. What is in need to do --IS GO BACK TO THE BASICS. To the original teachings of Jesus in the gospels and throw OUT all the rest, all the accumulated teachings, rituals and practices of the Armenian Apostolic Church, throughout the centuries, that did not come from Jesus. For example, we see in Echmiadzin services the faithful kissing small flags with pictures on them, this should not be so and should not be allowed, kissing the WORD of Jesus, or the Bible, is fine and OK but not kissing of religious flags because then someone puts his faith in a piece of cloth in place of the living Word of God. Kissing the cross is fine and OK but not after kissing it in the hand of the priest you believe the words of the priest saying: The church is your salvation or the church saves you; JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE WHO SAVES and not the church (now you why most churches in Western & eastern Armenia are in RUINS, this is a message from Jesus that churches and bulidings DO NOT SAVE, only HE CAN!) When they do this then Armenians will start flocking back to the services (today 98 percent of Armenians consider themselves Christians, but only 8 percent said they attended services at least once a week, this means Armenians are CULTURALLY Christians and not BIBLICALLY; that is, Armenian leaders should start thumping their fingers, as reference in "modernizing" the church, only to what is recorded in the Bible and not following the traditions of men mingled with some scriptures to alleviate their guilt and lack of knowledge of God or Jesus. Jesus destroyed the pagan temple at Vagharshapat, he did not tell to make a cocktail of His teachings & pagan teachings. This blasphemy would even make St.Thaddeus rise in protest from his grave from the monastery of his own name located in northern Iran. The above incident in the YouTube proved to be a staged event by Saakashvili for public relations purposes on the eve of the elections in Georgia. Vahagan himself said to the Armenian media that he was not looking for problems, was not protesting and was not looking forward for a confrontation with Michi (Saakashvili), but he was in the Armenian church courtyard with some of his friend when Michi came out of the church into the yard and started yelling: "where are those 'separatists' I want to speak with". Michi dragged the cameraman with him to film the confrontation in order to show how patriotic he his defending Georgia from the Russians and Armenian separatists. THE WHOLE STAGED (on the side of Saak not from the part of Vahagan) INCIDENT BACKFIRED ON SAAK! Everyone saw in the film how vulgar and cheap Saakasvili was acting like a street gang member. His party and their candidate lost the election. In the Armenian region, the Saak opposition, Margvelashvili, received 65 and 70 percent of the votes cast in the predominantly Armenian-populated regions of Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda, respectively; while Saak's United National Movement party candidate Davit Bakradze, on the other hand, got 20 percent of the votes in both regions. Armenians prefer a cultured and refined person like Margvelashvili for leadership who will not put yokes on them like Saak did but rather take those yokes away. Margvelashvili was born on September 4, 1969. In 1992, he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology of Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University. In 1994 he studied at the Faculty of Sociology at the Central European University. He holds PhD. Before coming into politics, he worked as a guide in the mountains and assistant manager at a publishing house. In 1995-2000 he was an interpreter at the U.S. National Democratic Institute (NDI), later he held the post of the assistant and head of one of the programs at NDI. In 2000-2002 Margvelashvili was the rector of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), in 2006-2010 he headed the research department. Margvelashvili's latest post was the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia. On May 11, 2013, the ruling Georgian Dream coalition, which is composed of 6 parties, advanced Margvelashvili's nominee for president of Georgia. Margvelashvili himself represents none of the 6 parties of the coalition.

Jude was one of Jesus' 12 apostles chosen to spread the gospel. Also known as Thaddeus, he is said to have been born into a Jewish family in Palestine and, according to legend, he brought Christianity to Armenia. He is said to have been martyred around five years later...[he is buried in that monastery of Iran]. Neil Lancefield According to Armenian Church tradition, the Apostles Thaddeus and Bartholomew traveled through Armenia in AD 45 to preach the word of God; many people were converted and numerous secret Christian communities were established there. The ancient Christian historian Moses of Khorene tell the following story, considered a legend by most modern historiography. Thaddeus converted King Abgar V of Edessa. After his death, the Armenian kingdom was split into two parts. His son Ananun crowned himself in Edessa, while his nephew Sanatruk ruled in Armenia. About AD 66, Ananun gave the order to kill St. Thaddeus in Edessa. The king's daughter Sandokht, who had converted to Christianity, was martyred with Thaddeus. Her tomb is said to be located near the Ghara Kelisa. *The monastery of Geghard was founded in the 4th century, according to tradition by Gregory the Illuminator in a dead-end canyon with a running river at the bottom, in that canyon Armenian Christians used to take refuge in scattered caves from the persecuting authorities. The site is that of a main spring arising in a cave which had been sacred in pre-Christian times, hence one of the names by which it was known, Ayrivank (the Monastery of the Cave). The first monastery was destroyed by Arabs in the 9th century. Nothing has remained of the structures of Ayrivank. According to Armenian historians of the 4th, 8th and 10th centuries the monastery comprised, apart from religious buildings, well-appointed residential and service installations. Ayrivank suffered greatly in 923 from Nasr, a vice-regent of an Arabian caliph in Armenia, who plundered its valuable property, including unique manuscripts, and burned down the magnificent structures of the monastery. Earthquakes also did it no small damage.

Military officials in Armenia are saying that the use of Armenian wheeled robots in the army is about to revolutionize the way combats are fought by the Armenian army. They declared that robots will be used as decoys, stationed at the left of the enemy they will open fire at the command of a hand-held computer; the robots will engage enemy targets making the enemy respond by thinking the attacks are coming from the left while the real attack will be lunched from the right by real human soldiers.

The last taped rant of Saakasvili On October 25 president Saakashvili was in Akhalkalaki of Javakhk in casual dress, his aim was apparently to gain votes for his party's candidate David Bakradze. After visiting the Armenian church in Akhalkalak he noticed a large lot of his bodyguards (he had more than a dozen of them) circling some five Armenians and restraining the Armenians who were protesting Saak's visit to their town. The president suddenly pushes his bodyguards apart from the 5 Armenian protesters and advancing confronted Vahagan Chakhalyan saying "I am here to listen, hello I listen." Both started talking in Georgian that was changed to Russian when the blood on both started boiling; then back to Georgian. Vahagan was a known activist who wanted autonomy for the Armenian region. After all Saakavili gave autonomy to Ajara (or Ajaria) region of Georgia so why not the same treatment for the Javakhk! Vahagan did not advocate separatism, he wanted the Armenians of Javackhk to learn the Armenian language and literature without any hindrance, and he did not want the railroad to pass thru Akhalkalaki or near by. Also in 2005 Vahagan was against against withdrawal of the Russian military base from the town. Vahagan was arrested in 2008 and was imprisoned on what he claimed were trumped up charges related to weapons, armed hooliganism and acts against public order. In January 2013, after four & half years in jail, he was released as a result of broad amnesty issued by the current government of Georgia. Vahagan’s release was condemned by President Saakashvili and his UNM party, describing him as “the enemy of the Georgian state” and “inspirer of separatism in Javakheti”. From the confrontation between Vahagan<>Saakashvili we see that the later is clearly a very paranoid person. We see Vahagan saying to Saak: "you took four years and a half of my life, and then he started complaining about what he called absence of Armenian literature from curriculum of local schools like Tumanyan and so on and also he raises the issue of those churches, which remain disputed between the Georgian Orthodox Church and the Armenian Apostolic Church" all the while Saak is saying "yes, I listen, da, 'hedo?'" Then Vahagan said something that blew the top of head of Saak or blew his top off and made him angry and started shouting. What Vahagan said was: “What has happened in Javakhk in the past ten years on your behalf should be a matter of accountability in line with the Georgian law; whether it was done on your behalf or you were the one who gave the orders, I do not know; the law, the court has to decide it, if what you did was illegal or legal". It is here that lawyer Saak interrupted Vahagan and started yelling: “Are you the one who should put me on the trial?.. a criminal like you should put me on the trial? I came here and I am ready to listen to every citizen, but I am not going to let people like you lecture me on morality. Now let me tell you what I have done in Akhalkalaki. What I have done was that I cut the ground from under feet of separatists like you,” adding that his government built roads and secured gas and electricity supplies and developed infrastructure in the region. “Separatists like you who are going to separate Georgia into pieces and puppies of GRU [Russian military intelligence] will not lecture me in morality; you were sitting in jail on six charges.” “No, no, not true, don’t touch my honor,” Vahagen responded but Saak continued repeating: “I am not going to let criminals like you to lecture me in morality.” Seeing that the air was getting hot and that at any minute Vahagan would punch Saak with his fist on the face, the bodyguards stood between them and made Vahagan and his group to go away which they willingly did but turned around and said: “Misha go away; go Misha…" Misha is the pet name for Saak as his first name is Micaheal, they wanted Saak to go away from their town; but we in the tape Saak, surrounded by his bodyguards, running after them like a kid, or like a gang member from New York, shouting: “Where are you running you cowards? Come here; why are you running you coward separatists?” But the fact was his bodyguards were walking in line behind the Armenians and would not let any more confrontation between the two, while Saak kept yelling: "“Look, only five separatists are now left and that’s what we did; there were much more of them; run away you coward separatists; your patron GRU base is no longer here.” Then Saak continues his tour, then he smiles at other nice Armenians telling them: "I love Akhalkalaki residents very much.” Later on the same day Saak made a live televised statement from the presidential palace in Tbilisi, saying that the Samtskhe-Javakheti region was actually out of central government’s control before he came into power almost ten years ago; he also said that he is proud that it was made possible to enhance Georgian language programs for locals in the region and to develop various infrastructure projects there to help integrate it to the rest of Georgia. He again criticized GD for releasing Vahagan from prison (he was released together with thousands of others under the broad amnesty) and suggested that Vahagan was now acting with the support of the authorities. “I want today’s incident to be the last one,” he said. But in two days, after his party lost the presidency (the parliament was lost years ago) that taped incident has been paranoid Saak's LAST RANT. But later, they used the police force to commit violence against people. So we can't say it was an achievement," says Mr Ivanishvili. "The biggest achievement, I would say, was the improvement of tax collection. Money started flowing into the state budget. But the budget was then abused - so this also cannot be counted as an achievement." EU CONCERNS two European Union ministers expressed fears this week that Ivanishvili might take revenge on Saakashvili for blocking government decisions for months, by pressing for him to be prosecuted. "The Europeans and Americans ... are giving us friendly advice, which I agree with: that it would not be in the country's interests if our president goes to jail," Ivanishvili said in his glass and metal residence overlooking the capital Tbilisi. He said Saakashvili, catapulted into power by a bloodless revolution in 2003, could face questioning by police when he leaves office and loses immunity from prosecution. But Ivanishvili said he would not push for an arrest, adding: "It's bad if a country's president might go to jail." He did not say what Saakashvili might be accused of, although he has previously suggested he might be asked about the death of a former prime minister, Zurab Zhvania, who was poisoned by fumes said to have come from a faulty heater. His comments were clearly intended to appease two EU foreign ministers, Sweden's Carl Bildt and Poland's Radoslaw Sikorski, who urged him in Tbilisi last week not to take revenge on his rival though the courts.
