Thanks Samuel for your kind comment during this Christmas festive season. I now post rarely and hope my few posts will bless you. My advice for you is to go to "Manage Ignore Prefs" at the pull down arrow under your member name at the top of the page and put "Arpa" member in the ignore list so that his posts are blocked to you when you sign in to the forum, this will save you a lot of headache in the future as he is very foul-mouthed person and lethal to newbies like you. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Samuel!

Jesus had a ministry activity for 3 years, He was aware of His death only during the last months (that is why He is saying in this message "[at first]I did not know I will be killed", or the last year of His ministry as mentioned in the gospels, where He says they will kill Him in various verses, but even then He did not know that He was going to be mocked, beaten, lashed, tortured, spitted upon and a crown of thorns pushed on His head before His Crucifixion --all that was made clearly depicted in the film The Passion of the Christ (2004) of Mel Gibson All during My childhood I knew Who I wasDecember 12th, 2013 My dearly beloved daughter, as the time for My Birthday draws near, I desire that all Christians everywhere contemplate on the reason for My Birth. My Birth was planned by My Father out of His Great Mercy and His extraordinary Love for His children. His greatest sacrifice was to send His only Son, begotten of Him, into an ungrateful world, full of sinners, who did not want to know Him on His Terms. Every Intervention, through the prophets, was made to try to turn their hardened hearts to seek out His Glory. But they turned against Him and killed the prophets, who fed them with the Food for their souls. By sending an innocent child, His only Son, into the world, He placed Himself as a lowly servant of human flesh, before those who were meant to serve their Master. The Master, therefore, became the Servant in what was the greatest form of Humility. Yet, He so loved His children, He was prepared to do anything to win them back from the deceit and temptation of Satan. All during My childhood I knew Who I was and what was expected of Me. I was also very frightened and overwhelmed by the knowledge of Who I was and what was expected of Me. Because I was human, I suffered from fear. I was easily hurt. I loved all who came into contact with Me and I trusted all because I loved them. I did not know they would kill Me, for I thought that My Kingdom had come. There were certain things kept from Me by My Father, Who did not communicate with Me as you would believe. Instead, I received an infused knowledge, when desired by My Father, in the task assigned to Me, in order to bring salvation to all. Every kind of Divine Intervention was made to win over the souls of those who thought they knew the Laws of My Father, but who twisted them to suit their own desires and egos. I spent many years living with My beloved Mother and father, St. Joseph, just as any family. I loved them so much and I was happy. We were very close and My Mother was gifted with special Graces given to her by the Power of the Holy Spirit. This meant that she knew exactly what My Mission entailed. She knew the difficulties I would have to face. The rejection. The ridicule. But neither did she know that I would be murdered. It was after the first two years in My Mission, having spent twenty hours a day preaching the Truth, that I realized that the opposition had mounted. All those who heard My Word were alert to it, even when they could not understand exactly what I was trying to tell them. Many, who did accept that what I told them was the Truth, found it difficult to follow Me because of the ridicule that they faced. Either way, My enemies could not ignore Me. I was the subject of much debate, much argument and much friction. They spread terrible lies about Me, including My Morality, My Sanity and My Intentions – and yet, they could not ignore what I did, what I said and what I told them about My Father’s Kingdom. I was betrayed by those who loved Me, but who lacked the courage to follow Me. By the Grace of My Father, I endured all this Pain, until the final realization became clear to Me. I knew, then, that they would not accept Me. I knew the Truth, towards the end, but I also knew that I could not give up. And so, through the greatest act of Humility, God, through His Only Son, became a Victim and so allowed man to inflict upon Him a terrible suffering, scourging and violent death. This, seemingly cowardly act by Me, as seen through the eyes of Satan, meant that he doubted that I was, in fact, the Son of man. And so he was deceived. Satan, therefore, could not counteract this Great Act of Humility, for there was no one left to tempt. When I went to My death, a willing and silent victim, full of love for humanity, he, Satan, could not compete with this deed, for he does not possess any form of humility. So, I went willingly and with a burning desire to save souls and leave the world the legacy of Eternal Life. My Kingdom remained however, for the most part, under the domain of Satan. Souls, however, knew the Truth. Now to ensure that humanity understands the Truth, I come now to reclaim My Kingdom. By doing so, I have incurred the wrath of Satan. His plans to hide the Truth are elaborate and sophisticated. Cunningly, he has infiltrated My Church in this his last attempt to deny Me the souls I have come for. The souls who have a natural right to the Glorious Kingdom I promised them. This time he won’t win. But many souls will be deceived and as such, will be cheated out of the Greatest Gift given to humanity by My beloved Father. To live a life in the Glory of God with a perfect body and soul for eternity is yours. All of you. Do not squander this by allowing yourselves to be blinded to the True Word of God. Your Jesus

Thanks Mosjan, if it were not for you I would have left long ago. Actually the problem is NOT Arpa, he looks honest and his rants against me are his own problems not mine, and he is a Christian as per his admission and looks to be a sort of patriotic Armenian, zealous for the Armenian language. So this guy is honest and as long as he stays like that, as an Armenian, I would not complain against him factually; but those who are not Armenian, (or Armenian-Americans or like that who do not know the Armenian language), when they come upon the posts of Arpa they would be repulsed by his attitude and manner of ranting and will have a false impression of the Armenians and think most Armenians are like Arpa, so somehow with my posts I tried to correct that image or false impression projected by Arpa and show that all Armenians are not like Arpa. Arpa is an intelligent person to know how to correct himself, so I would let him be.. You seemed a bit confused Mosjan of what happened. The problem was with Yervant1, the super moderator, who objected of my posting of religious matters in the religious section of the forum. So to clarify this I would say, even though Yervant gave other reasons, his attitude was because of intolerance. If I am not wrong, Yervant was mentioned that he was once a Christian and now he is not (by Christian here I consider anyone of Armenian Apostolic, Evangelical or Catholic belonging church or independent one from churches but having his believes in Jesus Christ and His Father God intact). Hence, according to the word of God, Yervant is an antichrist. I am not saying THE or THAT antichrist, just an antichrist among many in this world and that is why he objected to my postings. Now lets see what the Word of God says about antichrists. It is mentioned in the first letter of John, chapter 2, verses 18 and 19: "even now many antichrists have appeared...they went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us". So many first become Christians and after being tutored for a while they "leave" and turn against Christ, hence they become antichrists in this world and in forums. Yervant seemed to be one of those antichrists. More like belonging to pagan religion, or none-believer or a Mason under oaths. Masons are antichrists although they will not admit it openly and they base their religion on "reason" and monetary "profits and riches" and not on faith. Why is the reason that some after coming to Christ Jesus they leave, which they are allowed to..BUT the worst happens when they turn against Christ. Its because they did not get "the anointing" or have been anointed by Christ. In the same letter of John, same chapter of 2, verse 20, we see the Word: "But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know", so it is this anointing that keeps the real Christians from becoming antichrists. As I mentioned, 'the' or 'that' Antichrist is something else of whom the Word says: "Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ. This is THE antichrist/Antichrist, the one who denies the Father (God) and the Son (Jesus Christ)" First letter John 2:22 So those many antichrists will somehow and someday follow THE antichrist and deny Christ and God. They end up followers of Satan. So Mosjan, let Hyeforum go without me, since I have other things to do, and will post only rarely for your sake. I believe that I already made an impact on this forum, that was a good impact that will help it to go toward a better healthier direction. Mission accomplished as they say!

That may be true, but Arpa did and you do not reprimand him, he broke every rule of this forum on me, starting with calling me "Turk" and the list goes on, and you have posted 'emotions' that indicates you are laughing at me and having the time of your life rolling around in laughter belly up from the fun you are having with me, that was the impression you send to me, you do not have to put your point in words always. Arpa started the attacks on me and you ganged up with him against me in place of restraining him and reminding him that he is violating the rules; in my opinion your silence made you an accomplice with Arpa. It is clear that something is wrong here so I will stop posting for the time being, another reason I got involved with this forum is to bring some light into the darkness of this forum, but you would not have any of it and you preferred darkness. So best thing to do is stop posting unless I see some comments from others that they would like for me to post again. In absent of such encouraging comments I will stop for the time being, and may God forgive your transpasses against me and not take them against you in the day of the judgement.

Fox News: Radioactive wave from Fukushima nears US… Is it safe? Expert: Risk of cancers or genetic effects ‘not zero’ for people on West Coast of USA; Ongoing leaks increase the odds Published: November 29th, 2013 at 10:44 am ET By ENENews http://enenews.com/fox-news-radioactive-wave-from-fukushima-nears-us-is-it-safe-expert-risk-of-cancers-or-genetic-effects-not-zero-for-people-on-west-coast-ongoing-leaks-increase-the-odds Fox News, Nov. 29, 2013: Is it safe? Radioactive Japanese wave nears US [...] radioactive water from the plant nears the West Coast of North America — the water is expected to hit in 2014 — can we be sure it’s safe? The nuclear reactor continues to leak radioactive water due to poor management, while Japanese subcontractors at the plant have admitted they intentionally under-reported radiation [...] Fukushima locals also claim they’re seeing cancer at higher rates and the Japanese government is covering up the scale of the problem. [...] The [EPA] does not monitor radiation levels at sea, however, and in a statement pointed to the International Atomic Energy Agency, which relies on Japanese government data. [...] Doug Dasher, who studies radioecology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, said it remains possible that there will be minor effects for people on the U.S. West Coast [...] Additional leakage from Fukushima could increase the odds, he said. [...] Scientists also warn that if an another earthquake or other natural disaster occurs while the Fukushima nuclear plant is still being decommissioned, that could have catastrophic consequences. Doug Dasher, University of Alaska Fairbanks: “No acute effects resulting in mortality or damage to organs … would be expected [...] Longer term chronic effects, cancer or genetic effects… odds are statistically low, if the concentrations in the models remain within the projections, (but) cannot be said to be zero. [...] The estimates (of radiation) vary substantially and do not, at least so far, account for the continued leakage from the Fukushima site to the marine environment.” FDA spokeswoman Theresa Eisenman: “We are actively watching for information that could implicate U.S. food and are always ready to take further action.” Gilbert Ross, executive director of the American Council on Science and Health: “There should be no concern among Americans, of any age or location.”

Summit Flop: EU Needs New Russia Policy after Ukraine Debacle 'An Almost Fearful Awe of Putin' Nov.29.13 Full at kink: http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/ukraine-debacle-and-eu-vilnius-summit-shows-need-for-new-russia-policy-a-936410.html "at the summit, an almost fearful awe of Russian President Vladimir Putin's power politics could be detected. Unlike the EU's own mistakes, his tactics are not under constant scrutiny, and when it comes to crossing the finishing line, he appears to be more clever at power politics" It is not just the failure of the agreement that is on display in Vilnius, but also the failure of the EU's strategy toward Eastern Europe as it devolves into mere helpless announcements. Officials admit that the task is a complicated and time-consuming one, but they still believe that controversial leaders like Yanukovych must eventually take the plunge toward Europe. "The door is open," said Chancellor Merkel after her 40 minute-long meeting with the Ukrainian president, though she added that the opposition there cannot be forgotten, either. At the chancellor's bidding, her foreign policy adviser Christoph Heusgen met with opposition leader and heavyweight boxer Vitali Klitschko in Vilnius to learn more about reprisals against Ukrainian civil society. But it is also clear that accusations against Ukraine's leaders will accomplish little. The huge country seems torn between a western part that looks towards Brussels and another region that remains highly influenced by Russia. The mawkishness of its president, who is reputedly corrupt, is also too great, with Yanukovych complaining in the conversation with Merkel about the International Monetary Fund's refusal to simply give him billions in loans without conditions. But Europe's helplessness is just as clear. Kiev's rejection of the agreement has driven a stake through the heart of the "Eastern Partnership." Although Georgia and Moldova both signed similar agreements with the EU in Vilnius, the latter is tiny and the former a rather opaque partner.

En Route Artsakh: 2013 Thanksgiving Day telethon secures more than $22.6m for major Karabakh road http://armenianow.com/news/50459/armenia_telethon2013_hayastan_fund Nov 29.13 An annual telethon broadcast from Los Angeles late on Thursday and early Friday has raised more than $22.6 million in donations and pledges in favor of a major road project to connect Armenia and Karabakh. The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund will spend the money raised through the traditional Thanksgiving Day event held for the 16th time for the construction of a 116-km Vardenis-Martakert highway, which is of great social and economic importance for the two Armenian republics. About 1.5 million Euros (almost $2 million) were pledged by Armenians around Europe in a preceding Phoneathon held on 21-24 November. Last year’s “Our Village” Telethon raised $21.5 in donations and pledges. The funds helped construct community centers in rural regions of Karabakh and provide solutions to the critical issues of clean drinking water and irrigation water.

Georgia, Moldova Ink EU Agreements as Ukraine Backs Off Nov.29.13 VILNIUS, November 29 (RIA Novosti) – Georgia and Moldova signed agreements with the European Union at a summit Friday as another ex-Soviet country, Ukraine, confirmed it would not go ahead with a similar deal. The agreements with Georgia and Moldova, which are set to be ratified next year, put the two countries on a path to stronger economic ties with Europe amid a wider EU push to integrate Eastern European and Southern Caucasus nations formerly ruled from Moscow. “The agreements initialed today are the most advanced of their type ever negotiated by the EU,” said European Commission President Jose Barroso during the signing ceremony, according to a copy of his speech. “From now on, our economies and a growing number of sectors in our societies will be linked. We will increasingly work together.” The Eastern Partnership summit in Lithuania began Thursday with EU heads of state and leaders from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova in attendance. ------ Vilnius Summit: No Agreement initialing due to Armenia’s new international commitments http://armenianow.com/news/50485/armenia_eu_statement_vilnius_summitThe European Union and the Republic of Armenia have adopted a joint statement as a result of the EU Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, in which they said that they have completed negotiations on an Association Agreement, including a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, but will not proceed with its initialing due to “Armenia’s new international commitments.” They also agree on the need to update the EU-Armenia ENP Action Plan. “The EU and Armenia enjoy close links and reconfirm their commitment to further develop and strengthen comprehensive cooperation in all areas of mutual interest within the Eastern Partnership framework,” the statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reads. “Based on common values, both sides are committed to further cooperation aimed at the continuous improvement of democratic institutions and judiciary, the promotion of human rights and rule of law, good governance, the fight against corruption, the strengthening the civil society, the further improvement of the framework for enhanced trade and investments, the continued implementation of the mobility partnership and increased sectoral cooperation. “Based on their common endeavour to build upon the existing framework of cooperation, the EU and Armenia stress the importance of revisiting the basis for their relations.”

There is SOMETHING wrong with you and specially Arpa, both of you do frequent commenting and you have succeeded in chasing out all other respectable members with your unscrupulous comments and your habit of ridiculing others like me; no respectful member would stay in this forum and if I did up to now is because of 1)my love; 2)and the second reason is that in this Forum I can exclude Arpa by choosing the "hide a member" option (at manage-ignore-prefs) so that I would not have to even look on his posts when logged in; this option is not known to most members; 3)I feel sometimes lonely and its feel good to write & post for recreation and passing time (though do not expect monetary contribution for maintenance of the forum from me because you & Arpa, playing the two clowns of this forum, have killed in me any such wish). There are thousands members registered--ask yourself why they are not discussing or commenting, except of Mosjan and me, there are two or three members only who post or comment once a month, where are the rest? Chasing others out of the forum and out of discussion is easy & fun but attracting them in is difficult!

Armenia To export honey to EU also by man As the hungry people in Europe have finished their bee population by eating those insects and consequently their honey industry has died away, Armenia will be coming to their help by exporting honey to EU according the the National Beekeepers Association of Armenia. A news article released on October 2013 said "Armenia has been included in the list of countries that are eligible to export honey to European Union countries. The Armenian Agriculture Ministry State Service on Food Safety informed the aforesaid citing the EU official monthly. The EU Directorate-General for Health and Consumers (DG SANCO) has approved Armenia’s 'Plan on the Quantity of Residue in Honey and Beekeeping Products,' which is a prerequisite for honey exports. http://news.am/eng/news/175152.html In the first nine months of this year Armenia exported 6,2 tons of honey mainly to China, Russia and USA. Armenia, where her people are not so crazy to eat their bee population as lunch (there are 200.00 bee families in Armenia which are protected by law from being eaten as lunch), has the capacity to export 500 tons of honey per year to Europe if Artskah also pitch in exporting with Armenia, said a communication by NBAA on November 22, 2013. From 1000 tones to 6000 tones of honey are produced in average by the Armenians per year, 1000 tons if the bees go to vacation to Georgian and Turkish shores and 6000 tons if the bee families decide to not go to vacation outside of Armenia. In 2012 16,8 tons were exported in total, while in 2011 18,1 tones in total. Honey has no expiration date and its stays delicious for long period of time in storage or on shelves. http://www.armenianhoney.com/armenian_honey/beekeeping_in_armenia/

The US administration has now signaled it wants a more modest engagement in the Middle East (focused on Iran, Syria and the Israel-Palestine conflict), as it "pivots" towards Asia and the rising power of China that enlarging its power base over the sea and soon will be landing on the moon USA & NATO's appetite for full-scale air and land campaigns seems to have exhausted itself America isn't leaving the Middle East, unfortunately by Seumas Milne The Guardian, Wednesday 27 November 2013 http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/nov/27/america-middle-east-iran-nuclear-deal Remember how we got here. Three months ago, the US, Britain and France were poised to launch yet another attack on an Arab and Muslim country, this time war-wracked Syria. An unexpected, and unprecedented, vote by British MPs halted the bid to escalate the war. That stiffened resistance in the US Congress. As Obama struggled to win support, Russia seized the chance to press for the UN-supervised destruction of Syria's chemical weapons. A deal was reached and the threat of attack abandoned. A couple of months on and Iran, Syria's closest ally, has now signed an agreement with the big powers to limit its nuclear programme in exchange for sanctions relief – and Syrian peace talks are back on the agenda for the new year. The west's August attempt to confront the Iranian-Syrian "axis of resistance" has been turned on its head. Russia has been bolstered without lifting a finger. The closest US allies in the Middle East, Israel and Saudi Arabia, are crying betrayal and demanding their supporters sabotage the deal in Congress. In fact, both agreements simply reflect a recognition of reality after 12 years of failed wars of intervention across the Middle East. In the case of Syria, despite covert intervention by western and Gulf states, the Assad regime has been gaining ground as the rebel camp slips further into the grip of al-Qaida-linked sectarian jihadists. When it comes to Iran, the Shia Islamic republic has been hugely strengthened by the west's war on terror and the US-British invasion of Iraq in particular. Sure, Iran has been hurt by sanctions imposed by nuclear-armed states and the campaign of assassinations and sabotage waged by the US and Israel. But the restrictions on its uranium enrichment programme agreed in Geneva on Sunday are significantly less onerous than those Iran offered in 2005, when its proposal of a centrifuge cap of 5,000 was rejected by the US out of hand. It now has upwards of 16,000. What has changed is that the costs of confrontation with Iran have escalated for the US; the credibility of an all-out attack on Tehran is now vanishingly small; the west's Arab allies are in turmoil or immersed in an unwinnable regional sectarian war – and Iran holds a key to conflicts the US wants defused or settled, from Palestine to Afghanistan. Whether the nuclear agreement lasts or goes further, Geneva is a measure of realism in a region turned upside down by increasingly bizarre alliances. Take Israel, the secular Jewish state, and Saudi Arabia, the Sunni sectarian autocracy. They are now not only working hand in glove against Iran, but both strongly backed the abortive attack on Syria and championed July's military coup against the elected Islamist president in Egypt. The US-backed theocratic Saudi dictatorship, along with the UAE, Jordan and Israel, are now in close alliance with the secular military regime in Cairo – which is busy buying weapons from Syria's ally Russia – while Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states are the main backers of Islamist and jihadist rebel forces in Syria. In fact, the Saudi authorities have been offering to release their own jihadist prisoners if they agree to go and fight in Syria and Lebanon with al-Qaida-linked groups such as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Meanwhile, Islamist Turkey, which also backs the Syrian rebels, is trying to move closer to Iran. The chaos and cross-currents are a product of the war on terror and the Arab uprisings that flowed out of it nearly three years ago. The campaign that began in Afghanistan, and passed through the destruction of Iraq via drone wars against the terror groups it fuelled, reached its last phase in the attempts to hijack or crush the popular revolts across the Arab world. At every point, the war has failed in its stated aim of fighting terror and left a trail of destruction, death and sectarian conflict in its wake, from Pakistan to Libya. It has also revealed the limits, rather than the extent of US and western power to impose its will by military force. And it's that strategic defeat and overreach – paid for at such great human cost – that has been reflected in the deals made with Iran and Syria this autumn. The US administration has now signaled it wants a more modest engagement in the Middle East, focused on Iran, Syria and the Israel-Palestine conflict, as it "pivots" towards Asia and the rising power of China. "We've got interests and opportunities in that whole world," as Obama's national security adviser, Susan Rice, puts it. That's been interpreted by some as the prelude to a US withdrawal from the most directly western-dominated region in the world, encouraged by declining US dependence on Middle East oil. That would be too much to hope for. The US has been boosting its military presence and archipelago of bases in the Gulf, and the Middle East will continue to be crucial to the global energy market. But the failure of the war on terror and US decline means it is likely to try to use a reduction of tension with Iran to streamline and scale back its military involvement. Which would, of course, be welcome for the people of a region trying to carve out their own future. The west's baleful terror war will carry on across the Arab and Muslim world in the form of drone attacks and special forces operations. But the appetite for full-scale air and land campaigns seems to have exhausted itself. That can only be good for all of us. Twitter: @SeumasMilne

Not much is written about abortion in Armenia. A recent article in ArmeniaNow.com site gives us some details (the report article is after this introduction) and the situation looks sad, very sad and black. Abortion was not like that in Armenia before the Soviet Union, but when that empire came Armenia followed suit, after the policy of the Soviet Union and up until now, after more than 22 years of freedom, did not recover from that abortion curse forced upon her and may have gotten worse; will Armenia ever recover and be set free from the curse of the abortion? Year 1920: After the Bolshevik-Communists capture Russia and set up the Soviet Union, they quickly legalize unrestricted abortion. The Soviet Union was the first European nation to legalize abortion. By the time Vladimir Putin becomes President of a post-Communist Russia, 80 years later, the debased and depopulating nation is the world champion of abortion. 2001 to Present: Putin's Russia actively promotes traditional morality, Christianity, and pro family policies. Same for Armenia but Armenia stays behind Russia and might never caught up to Russia. As a matter of fact, according to this recent article by Gohar Abrahamyan Armenia got worse as freedom meant for Armenian women the freedom to do abortion OUTSIDE the hospitals and by their own hands, not that of a doctor. In Summer of 2011, President Medvedev and now Prime Minister Putin, help to pass a law in Russia which requires abortion providers' advertising to mention the dangers to a woman's health. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/15/world/europe/15iht-russia15.html In the fall of 2011, another law is passed in Russia, banning abortions after 12 weeks, except in cases where the mother's life is in danger http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_in_Russia#Current_law Since the rise of Putin, the number of abortions in Russia has fallen dramatically: 2001: 2.11 million 2003: 1.86 million 2005: 1.67 million 2007: 1.48 million 2009: 1.29 million 2011: 1.0 million http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/ab-russia.html 2012: 814,000 and falling! What about Armenia? The article below by Gohar Abrahamyan is my only reference. On November 25th, Putin signs a bill into law which bans all advertisements for abortion. http://worldnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/11/25/21612179-putin-signs-law-banning-advertisements-for-abortion-in-russia?lite And what about America; unrestricted abortion like it happened in Russia starting from 1920? http://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2012/08/23/extreme_obama_says_hes_prochoice_on_late_term_abortion As to Armenia, well "this is Armenia" which means nobody knows what is going to happen, and the silence of the Apostolic Church is not helping. ========================= Don’t try it at home: Increasing number of abortions outside clinics raises concern in Armenia By Gohar Abrahamyan ArmeniaNow reporter Nov.27.13 http://www.armenianow.com/society/health/50380/armenia_abortions_medicine_cytotec_abuse While the number of abortions made clinic conditions has decreased in Armenia in recent years, doctors raise concerns about the dangerous trend of women more often resorting to artificial means of interrupting their pregnancy at home. About 20 million illegal abortions are annually performed around the world. Some 47,000 women become victims of these abortions every year. According to Gayane Avagyan, head of the Armenian Health Ministry’s Maternal and Reproductive Health Department, in Armenia 7,000 women annually resort to abortions, and miscarriages, including those caused by wrong medication, are registered among another 4,000. While no fatalities have been reported in Armenia because of abortions in the last five years, there have been numerous cases when women are brought to hospital in heavy conditions after abortion made at home. “Up to 80 percent of women today prefer abortions in home conditions. They try to solve their problem by themselves until the last moment, but in some cases they eventually have to turn to doctors as they can’t deal themselves with bleeding and high fever,” says head of the maternity department at Charentsavan’s Medical Center Karine Poghosyan. Cytotec has been the most popular medicine for abortions in Armenia in recent years, but if applied incorrectly this drug may cause real problems. This medicine is described as a gastric anti-ulcer preparation, but it is contraindicated for pregnant women as it causes sharp contractions of the uterus, causing bleeding and fetal miscarriages as a result. Although according to the official website of the Center for Drug and Medical Technology Expertise, the drug, Cytotec 200 mcg, produced by the British Piramal Healthcare UK Limited, was registered in Armenia in 2009, at certain pharmacies it was available still before that. Narine Grigoryan, 35, told ArmeniaNow that still nine years ago, in 2004, she tried to interrupt her pregnancy with the use of Cytotec after buying it at one of the pharmacies in Yerevan. Her attempt resulted in her being hospitalized with complications. “My elder daughter was four years old, we had some family problems and I even had a divorce in mind then, that’s why I resorted to that step back then. Besides, it appeared to be an inexpensive and quick option. I had heavy bleeding and things went wrong, so I had to be hospitalized,” said Narine, adding that fortunately doctors managed to save her life and a few months later she was able to conceive and give birth again. Still in 2007 the police released a statement saying that Armine Danielyan (born in 1970) was brought to hospital with a head injury and it was established that she got that injury after she fainted as a result of bleeding. As it turned out the woman tried to cause a miscarriage in home conditions by using Cytotec. The woman died in hospital shortly without regaining consciousness. Doctors say that married women and unmarried women in Armenia prefer dangerous abortions in home conditions because this way they can get rid of the fetus quickly and without other people’s knowledge. Some also resort to it due to their heavy social situation, preferring a pill that costs pennies to medical abortion in clinic conditions that would cost them $50. Gohar Narimanyan, who heads the gynecology division at the Hrazdan Medical Center’s Maternity Department, says that medical abortions are an accepted practice around the world and are less harmless, but there is a procedure that most women in Armenia do not follow. “The pregnant woman should see the doctor first and undergo examination to make sure that her pregnancy is developing in the uterine cavity, then a drug is prescribed to her to stop the development of pregnancy, and only then she can use Cytotec to simply cause a miscarriage, then she needs another examination to make sure that nothing remains in the uterine cavity. After that the woman needs to be under doctors’ supervision for 15 days and if the uterine cavity has not been cleaned, it must be cleaned. But our women just take the pill and use it,” says the doctor, adding that during a month they have about 5-6 cases of complications caused by abortions attempted in home conditions and only in rare cases attempts to cause a miscarriage at home cause no problems at all. Doctors think that a government decision is needed to prohibit the sale of such medicines at pharmacies without prescriptions. According to Gayane Avagyan, this medicine is often used by people with stomach problems and now the Health Ministry is trying to find options to consider the interests of people with stomach problems as well.

Dear Yervant! you look like the devil's advocate when you bring a previous talk of mine "10,000 young men from Yerevan are not worthy for a single Pole that I have met and worked with", that statement, which is not literal, means that in my opinion the Poles that I have met are much better than the Armenians, saying the Poles are better than Armenians does not means the Armenians are bad (as you understood with your narrow-mindness), in all humility I acknowledge that there are people in the world who are worst than the Armenians and people who are better than Armenians, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT ? I hope this DISCUSSION will satisfy you. When a chat or discussion is worth the while I do it, but you and Arpa are bend on character-assassination of mine in you chats with me so mostly I ignore both of you. If you do not have a big heart you will misunderstand some of my posts and take the role of the devil’s advocate and not that of a moderator.

Two moderate quakes hit Sea of Marmara http://www.worldbulletin.net/?aType=haber&ArticleID=123808 An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.7 struck Marmara Ereglisi and the same region was soon after hit by another quake with a magnitude of 4.1 The Sea of Marmara was shaken by two moderate earthquakes on Wednesday morning. According to a statement made by the Prime Ministry's Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD), an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.7 struck Marmara Ereglisi, near the city of Tekirdag at 6:21 a.m. and the same region was soon after hit by another quake with a magnitude of 4.1. The statement added that earthquakes are observed 24/7 in the region and that the epicenter of Wednesday morning's quake was 20 kilometers off of Marmara's Ereğlisi coast. There have not been any casualties reported in the quakes. ------------------ In 1999, an earthquake along the North Anatolian fault killed some 30,000 people in western Turkey. There is some evidence that another segment closer to the densely populated city of Istanbul could be next to rupture, which could create worse devastation. A team of Turkish, American and French scientists are on a Turkish research ship in the Sea of Marmara to image the faults and its overlying sediments to better assess the risk. Donna Shillington, a seismologist at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, has filed an update from aboard R/V K. Piri Reis. For about 50 years, earthquakes have been propagating westward along the 900-mile-long North Anatolian fault. Quakes are caused by two tectonic plates sliding past one another, much as they do along California’s San Andreas fault.

This Thanksgiving forget eating turkey, Eat instead sweet made-in-Armenia Monica Avanesyan from Armenia in rehearsal of track “Choco Factory” Մոնիկա Ավանեսյան - «Շոկո ֆաբրիկա» together with her five dancers on Junior Eurovision 2013. Monica seems set to conquer all those who love a good uptempo track, a big dance number, and of course – sweets and chocolate, writes Junior Eurovision’s official website. This Thanksgiving forget eating turkey, Eat instead sweet made-in-Armenia Some posters in this forum need some sweet to make them sweetly and not too sour-sarcastic-and-malicious. One thing I like of the Eastern Armenians who have not been exposed to western decadence is their sweetness; in talks, in smiles and in hugs. During the Soviet Union chocolate was a delicacy allowed only for the elite party members, the ordinary people who labored hard for their "paradise" state and empire were forbidden to eat chocolates as it was considered to be a capitalist’s addiction. In March of 2008, during the streets protests in Yerevan all the chocolates shops were broken into and the protesters helped themselves for free chocolate, not eating but gulping it by boxes. How the situation changes since then as the Armenian businessmen made all form of sweet available to Yerevantis, as seen in this Armenian video song: The western Armenians of Muslim and Arabs (I would not say Turkish also since practically Armenians are very rare in Turkey after the Genocide) had sweets, chocolates too eat all the time but they have lost something, that something is the sweetness of their soul. When they talk their words are not sweet, when they post in a forum their posts are not sweet any more, when they smile they have to feign (give a false appearance) as they are not able to smile sweetly as their kin in the Caucasus from their heart. In short ugliness crept into their souls. Eating lots of Muslim baklava made western Armenians sweet but baklava-wise; that is it, baklava tastes sweet in your mouth but when it reaches your stomach it turn sour and make you the ugliest person in the world. So this Thanksgiving Day forget about baklava, rather eat some sweet made-in-Armenia. I have tasted both baklava and sweets from Armenia, and I choose the one from Armenia.

Say NO to a Turkish Fukushima by MAN (reproduction in full allowed) The earthquake and tsunami in Japan proved how dangerous nuclear plants at sea are. Turkey has long been objecting to Armenian inland nuclear plant that is far from the sea, but when Japanese go ahead in Turkey with construction of a nuclear plant at Sinop into the Black Sea, Turkey would run the risk of making the Black Sea a death sea like it happened in Japan in Fukushima. The second Turkish nuclear plant will be located on a narrow peninsula jotting out into the Black Sea. The dangers are many, an earthquake that could damage or sink the plant (earthquakes have happened in that area before); a flood from the sea destroying the plant; a meteor falling at the Black Sea or an earthquake at sea will send a tsunami over the plant destroying it --exactly like it happened with the tsunami at Fukushima. All the countries bordering the Black Sea should stop Turkey's risky second energy adventure on a narrow land jotting into the Black Sea or they would be in danger zone and will to have to eat seafood seasoned with plutonium someday that causes death and cancer from the spill over radiation. An agreement has been concluded between Turkey and Japan, with the Japanese company Mitsubishi in a consortium with the French GDF Suez for the construction of the second plant at Sinop with four units, but the Japanese company will be the operator of the project; the construction at a peninsula on the Black Sea at the small city of Sinop would cost $22 billion and the plant will be transferred to Turkish management & operation in the future. The first agreement, On construction of NPP in Turkey, was ratified with Russia. It is to be built in Akkuyu (Mersin Province), a location within Buyukeceli located on the southern slopes of Toros Mountains at 36°11′N 33°33′E. It is near to Mediterranean coast (3 kilometers). Its construction will begin in 2014, with the four units and will be put into service in 2019–22.

Israel, despite having nukes, did not use them even though it has been thru few wars with neighbors, and Israel should be recommended for that, in any case it will never be allowed to use nuke, not Israel and nor another country. When it comes to the neighbors of Israel they would have used nuke long ago if they had it. In the orient, that is the M.E. of the orient, all hate the Jews and their country, they hated them since ancient times, since they consider the Jewish nation as thread to their existence. So they are more likely that they would use nukes if they had any in hand driven by a blind uncontrolled Muslim impulse; Israel so far has been controlling its animal instincts in regard to fights when it comes to the use of nukes. In the future, Israel's safety guarantee would prove to be its nukes, as long as Israel have the advantage of the nukes over no-nuke-enemies there would be no winners in wars in the Middle East between Jews and Muslims. One or two nukes in the hand of their enemies is enough to wipe Israel out into ashes, while destroying Israeli's enemies require nukes in the hundred if not in the thousand. I am not trying to take sides here but doing logical deduction. With this new deal there might be some stability in the Middle East for the short time but in the long run it will prove to be disastrous.

A bad deal is a bad deal is a bad deal Analysis made by MAN In regard to Armenia and Russia, if this deal leads to peace and security in the area, and among all nations of the area, then it would benefit them greatly; since Armenia will be linked with Russia and others in CU in the near future, Armenia's economic role will be enhanced as a passage route or hayway to the Gulf and the Far East by way of Armenia>Iran. Those countries of CU all will benefit from this new access route via Armenia into the Middle East and the far Orient. Locally Armenia & Iran will be able to go ahead with the construction of a hydro-power plant in Meghri, at their borders; but mostly Armenia will go ahead and finish the construction of the railway system linking it with Iran's well-developed railway system. Rail-cars filled with merchandize will go both ways: up & down, in a modern version of the Silk Road. They will pass through Georgia in sealed railroad cars or containers without being opened as per agreement with Georgia. However, a bad deal is a bad deal is a bad deal is a bad deal...because Israel's interest has not been taken into consideration. The majority of nations on earth import their uranium to run their nuclear power plants, Iran refuses to import and rather is working to produce its own nuclear fuel, this puts Iran under suspicion for wanting to use the nuclear fuel it produces and enriches to build nuclear bombs and join the very exclusive league of nations with nuclear weaponry. Any deal with Iran should have required the end of Iran’s enriching of uranium projects and demolition of its plutonium reactor under construction. Like many other nations Iran is able to import its enriched uranium for peaceful energy production; Iran has the right to use nuclear energy but does not have the right to enrich plutonium because its ambitions are very clear in regard of its role in the Middle East. Iran may not use the would be nukes for war purposes but the mere possession of them gives Iran a strong voice, position and leverage in the affairs of the Middle East. And that is what Iran is after mainly. Israel now, in isolation and driven by fear for its security, would consider launching in the near future, or sometime in the next decade, a preemptive strike on Iran to stop it from acquiring nuclear weapons or enriching plutonium, and who knows Israel may be thinking it will save the world from a nuclear Armageddon started by the Muslims, a WW3, in the same way that Germany or its Hitler did in 1939. All premonitions indicate that Iran will have its ways and be a winner, a win that would eventually end by failure and own destruction.

Haghartsin Monastery reopens After Renovations
man posted a topic in My Visit Or Memories Of Armenia
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f8/Haghartcin.jpg/275px-Haghartcin.jpghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/28/Haghartsin.JPG/320px-Haghartsin.JPG Haghartsin Հաղարծին Haghardzin and Goshavank, are two monasteries of the Dilijan district. The first is closer to the town of Dilijan than the other. Both the monastery complexes are tourist attractions of Armenia: http://www.armeniapedia.org/wiki/Haghartsin_Monastery http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haghartsin_Monastery ("Hagh" may mean a play/game while "Artsin" a form of "Artsiv" means eagle in Armenian). Traditionally, an eagle was soaring over the dome of the main building at its dedication and thus it became commonly known as the monastery of the playing (or soaring) eagle. Some have said "hagh" is reference to "salt" as "agh" means salt in Armenian and is used for blessing purposes, by sprinkling it on bread for example. And "hagh" does not mean "play or playing" but is close to it because as "xagh" means play in Armenian so the "salt of the eagle" is a more accurate translation. What the Armenians meant when they called the monastery "Haghatsin" at inauguration when they saw an eagle over the dome was: "The Blessing of the Eagle" or the monastery upon whom the blessing of the eagle rested, as is said in the Bible: I will make you soar high as an eagle". MAN Imārat al-Shāriqa is one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The emirate has a population of over 800,000 (2008). A constitutional monarchy of the Al Qasimi dynasty; it has been ruled by Sultan bin Mohamed Al-Qasimi since 1972. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharjah_%28emirate%29 ------------ Ruler of Sharjah’s generosity enables Armenian monastery to reopen November 26, 2013 http://www.thenational.ae/uae/sharjah/ruler-of-sharjahs-generosity-enables-armenian-monastery-to-reopen Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi made a fortuitous visit to the Haghartsin Monastery when “In 2005 His Royal Highness visited Armenia and generously offered to renovate the complex during a tour of various Armenian regions,” said Varouj Nerguizian, an al-Shāriqa (Sharjah) based Armenian businessman who has advised Dr Sheikh Sultan. Mr Nerguizian would not say how much was donated, but local media reports said it could be about US $1.7 million Now, after years of building work including a new road up to the monastery to help to boost visitor numbers, the refurbished structure was finally opened last month. “I cannot recall anything similar to this happening in our history that an Arab Sheikh, a Muslim, helped to restore and rescue an Armenian Christian church,” the priest, Aristakes Aivazyan, said. “Without doubt it was God who brought the Sheikh to Haghartsin.” Perched spectacularly amid thickly forested mountains about 100 kilometres north-east of Yerevan, Haghartsin Monastery is a masterpiece of medieval Armenian ecclesiastical architecture. Founded in the 10th century, the monastery, which includes three churches and once housed about 250 monks, survived attacks from Arab and Ottoman invaders and anti-religious campaigns under Soviet rule during its turbulent history. But after weathering those storms, decades of neglect meant the complex looked headed for collapse as plants twisted through walls and cracks threatened to send buildings tumbling. “The monastery was in need of serious reconstruction but the repairs were always delayed by the lack of finances,” Father Aivazyan said. The donation, said Mr Nerguizian, “falls within the natural context of His Royal Highness’s philanthropy as well as respect for other religions”. Sharjah has a thriving Armenian community which has its own church. For those working at the monastery, the surprise of seeing an Arab leader visiting the holy Christian site remains a vivid memory. “He came with his entourage of about 10 people and looked around for quite a while at all the churches and stone crosses before asking to go into the main Church of Our Lady,” said Artak Sahakyan, who sells candles to visiting worshippers. “When he came out he said that he believed that the word of God was really heard here.” Armenia is considered the oldest Christian country in the world and its Apostolic Church belongs to the ancient Oriental Orthodox branch. The church is hugely influential in Armenia and two monasteries and its main cathedral are already listed on Unesco’s list of world heritage sites. http://www.armenews.com/IMG/arton95122-480x321.jpg The Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem receives Charles Aznavour http://www.armenews.com/article.php3?id_article=95122 Tuesday, November 26, 2013, Stéphane © armenews.com The famous Armenian singer Charles Aznavour visited the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem . Mr. Aznavour came into the country for a concert and today he visited the Armenian monastery because he wanted to meet with the Armenian Church and the Armenian community in the Holy Land . Pupils from St Tarkmanchatz school waited impatiently for the famous Armenian singer, and sang songs to welcome him warmly. They waited outside the patriarchy, and cheered enthusiastically when they saw him. The Priests of Saint- Jacques accompanied Mr. Aznavour during his visit of the St. James Cathedral. When coming out of the church, many Armenians wanted to take pictures with him, and to their great joy, Aznavour readily agreed. After the visit to the holy places of the cathedral was over, Aznavout took private leave. Aznavour had a private audience with His Beatitude Archbishop Nourhan, the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem. ----------------- The Singing Ambassador There is a singing Ambassador, to my best knowledge he is the only singing Ambassador in the world, and the oldest active Ambassador since he is 89 years old (of course singing makes one stay young); he is the Ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland since 2009. His name is Charles Aznavour and he resides in the place of his ambassadorship in Switzerland. Aznavour has dual citizenship, Armenian and French (or was it Swiss?). He was invited by the Israeli President Shimon Peres not for political business but for giving a concert in Tel Aviv. On Friday 22 November, before the concert on Saturday, Shimon Peres invited the Armenian Ambassador for lunch who was glad to be hosted by the Israeli President. On Friday he also gave a press conference saying he has come to sing for peace; he said also that he was saddened that Israel has still not recognized the Armenian Genocide by the Turks. He said Jews and Armenians, two people, who know how to love life (la vie) otherwise they would not have survived for so long. His Saturday night concert was well received by the Israeli public. There are few songs from that concert posted in You-Tube, just put in YouTube search tap: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Charles+Aznavour+in+Israel+November+2013&sm=12
