1- Not true. What happened is that they made new buildings in Yerevan, fast constructed and mostly by concert cement walls and not by stones as they used to build, then invited people from rural areas of Armenia to come and live in Yerevan in order to raise the capitals' population to one million. Both Yerevan and the rural areas were harmed because of this faulty maneuver. But the one-line metro was build mostly for as emergency-shelter. 2-Not so Peter Hughes! some are homing pigeons but mostly they are not. Pigeons are cheap there in rural parts and not expensive as in England.

Persecution of Christians Increases in Countries Labelled as ‘Failed’ Jan 08 2014 http://www.opendoorsusa.org/press/2014/January/Persecution-of-Christians-Increases WASHINGTON, D.C. (Jan. 8, 2014) – For the 12th consecutive year the hermit communist country of North Korea remains the world’s most restrictive nation in which to practice Christianity, according to the Open Doors 2014 World Watch List (WWL). However, a major trend which the WWL tracked in 2013 was a marked increase in persecution for Christian communities in states that are commonly regarded as “failed.” A failed country is defined “as a weak state where social and political structures have collapsed to the point where government has little or no control.” The top 10 countries where Christians faced the most pressure and violence in the 2013 reporting period of the 2014 WWL are: North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Pakistan, Iran and Yemen. in the minute 4.01 of this video we hear Karekin II, the current head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. saying: "..the blows against the Church...are after one purpose --to weaken the [Armenian] nation's spiritual unity. The nation by its unity is empowered.." I would ask myself: Can we not have Christian unity in Christian diversity when it comes to churches? Apparently the Armenians are not ready yet for that concept, so let another 100 years roll by for Armenians to caught on to my concept. Or can one church be so God-inspired and lover of truth that all Armenians will find it so attractive that they will never consider criticism or separation?

Georgia and Armenia: a spiritual journey By Peter Hughes 7 Feb 2014 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/europe/georgia/10623968/Georgia-and-Armenia-a-spiritual-journey.html http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02815/armenia-ararat_2815019b.jpg For the people who live there, the upheavals in the Middle East have been disastrous. But for travellers they have also placed many of the region’s great archaeological sites out of bounds, leaving big blanks in the atlas of cultural tours. Yet one site’s quarantine is another’s discovery, and holidaymakers in need of their annual history fix are casting around for new lands and new epochs for their edification. It was in that prospecting spirit that I went to Transcaucasia and the former Soviet republics of Armenia and Georgia. They were two countries that hitherto had not loomed large on my list of places to go. I was wrong. There are 300yd of no man’s land at the Bagratashen-Sadakhlo border crossing. A no man’s bridge spans a no man’s river and carries a trickle of fleetingly stateless trucks – no man’s transport. Two of us were on foot. An old lady dressed in black shuffled into Armenia. I was trundling my suitcase in the opposite direction, north into Georgia. Paradoxically, few places could be more distinctive than the countries we were swapping. Or different. http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02815/Armenia-BNXYAA_2815016c.jpg photo of the 7th Century Odzun Church in Debed Canyon I had been driven to the border through the bosky gorge of the River Debed, whose steep sides were deep enough to be in shadow in the middle of the day. The river teased the road, appearing first on one side and then the other. But the road itself was so badly potholed that drivers wove between craters. Then suddenly we were confronted by an abandoned factory. In such a sylvan scene it came as a shock. I had come to expect dilapidation in Armenia’s towns, whose edges were frayed in dereliction. Once-vigorous state-owned factories now looked like scrapyards. Clapped-out vehicles were littered around buildings of blackened concrete . Yerevan, the capital, was the same. It’s a grey, utilitarian city, except for Republic Square, formerly Lenin Square. More oval than square, it’s ringed by ceremonious neoclassical buildings faced in tufa stone, pink and mottled like mortadella sausage. Among them is the History Museum of Armenia. According to my guides, the triumphs in Armenia’s history owed as much to low cunning as to high command. In 1918 they duped the Turks about the size of their army, and in the Seventies they conned the Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev into sanctioning the Yerevan metro. Under Moscow’s diktat, cities had to have a population of a million to qualify for an underground. Yerevan was half that size, but the Armenians contrived a big traffic jam to persuade the old goat otherwise. In the History Museum another guide launched into what was to become a familiar chorus. Standing beside a map of “historical Armenia”, she pointed to the lands the nation had lost, first to the Ottomans and Persians and then to Russia. “This country is one tenth the size it used to be,” she said resignedly, before moving to a Bronze Age leather shoe, the world’s oldest. More significant was a fifth-century Bible, whose illuminated pages shone as fresh as wet paint. Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity as its official religion. That was in 301, almost within touching distance of the crucifixion. To this day the true glories of Armenia are spiritual. I visited 10 monasteries and churches in three days, the earliest dating from the fourth century. The newest was the least typical, not least because it had seats. In the Orthodox Church worshippers normally stand. Yerevan’s cathedral of St Gregory the Illuminator also has more windows than older churches. Consecrated in 2001 to celebrate 1,700 years of Christianity, it feels more auditorium than cathedral. Relics of St Gregory, who converted the country, are kept beneath an imported Baroque panoply. We drove south from Yerevan through a valley of scruffy agriculture; a shepherd chivvied his sheep down the road; watchtowers staked out the frontier with Turkey. At the monastery of Khor Virap there should have been a view of Mount Ararat across the border, but it was cloaked in cloud. The site’s attraction now is the rock pit, down a 27-step ladder, where St Gregory was imprisoned for 13 years in 288. Outside, boys were taking money to release doves, aka homing pigeons. Another Armenian ruse. West of the capital, at Echmiadzin, Mass was being sung in the cathedral. Nine priests, two in black hoods, glided before the high altar to a mystical choreography. Their gutsy plainsong swirled around the domes. A woman approached me and spoke in Armenian. Apparently I was being ticked off for crossing my hands behind my back. Echmiadzin has been at the heart of Armenia’s religion since the fourth century. In elaborate silver-gilt cases in the cathedral museum, there are claimed to be not only splinters from Noah’s Ark and the True Cross but the heavy iron head of the spear that stabbed Christ at Calvary. The thrill of Armenia’s churches comes not so much from their ancient masonry or antiquities but from their energy as fervent power plants, steeped in the certainties and rituals of the faith they have kept for more than 1,000 years. At Geghard monastery, a Unesco World Heritage site, two churches have been cut into rock. A monk billowed in, enveloped in a cloud of incense and irritation. He swung his rattling censer with the urgency of one fumigating the place against a dangerous outbreak of doubt. This article continues into Georgia, the rest is about Georgia: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/europe/georgia/10623968/Georgia-and-Armenia-a-spiritual-journey.html

TABLET MADE IN ARMENIA - THE NEXT BIG THING?
man replied to Yervant1's topic in Science and Technology
05.02.14 Armtab: First tablet computer made in Armenia unveiled http://armenianow.com/economy/it_and_telecom/51774/armenia_armtab_tablet_local_manufacture_computers The long-awaited tablet of Armenian make has become a reality. The computer called Armtab manufactured by the first production company registered in the Free Economic Zone of Armenia, Armenian-U.S. Technology and Science Dynamics, was officially presented to the public on Tuesday. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended the ceremony, thanking those who stand behind the program. He described it as a major success since “in a long-term sense Armenia finds one of the most important sectors of specialization in its economy.” “I am convinced that any young person who will use this tablet will be proud to be using an Armenian device. If we are able to reap all the fruits of this industry, it will mean that in another 10 years’ time our economy will be more productive, and from the point of view of productivity we will be a competitive nation,” said the prime minister. The idea of Armtab was first presented during the Digitec Expo 2013 international technological exhibition, and during the GITI-2013 regional event it received two awards for “Best Multimedia Project”, and “Year’s Software Support”. The software and hardware support for the tablet is implemented in Armenia, while assembly is conducted in the United States and Hong Kong. In the next three years Technology & Science Dynamics is expected to increase the production of tablets from 10,000 to 50,000, while the price of one tablet will be $180, with the self-cost estimated at $135. Minno Tablet Corporation President Eric Ryan described this investment program as the best, saying that Minno Tablet will ensure an effective launch of the project and the necessary financial resources for its development, technology transfer as well as other support. “I admire the Armenian technological talent and potential and I am sure that very soon with our support Armenia will get its worldwide recognition as a high-tech country,” said Ryan. During the event, the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia and Technology & Science Dynamics signed a memorandum of understanding, providing for Armtab tablets introduction in the Armenian educational system in 2015. “The Ministry of Education and Science will thus acquire a new and effective tool of creating a serious Armenian educational environment. It will also open up broad opportunities for cooperation for Armenian companies. We will do everything to boost the production proper in the second quarter of 2014 with a view to designing and developing PCB boards on which the tablet is based in Armenia,” said Technology & Science Dynamics Corporation founder Vahan Chakaryan. Since 2008, information technologies have been considered as a priority sector of Armenia’s economy. The sector comprises 360 companies, with more than 9,300 specialists involved. Speaking about the results in the IT sector in 2013 Prime Minister Sargsyan said that double-digit economic growth in it has a continuous nature, while the number of those employed in the sector has increased by 1,800 over the last year, standing at 11,000, of whom about 9,000 are highly qualified engineers. -
I do not know who ex-member zigzag was but it looked to me be a troll and mostly doing troll activity. It is very common to say by the Turks and their friends that they killed the Armenians "for a reason" that is in reprisal of what the Armenians did to them. The alibi that Armenians helped the Russian proved to be wrong as very few did that and most Armenians were neutral or remained faithful to the Turkish empire. But in Turkish mentality (they even have a proverb in this regard): if there is a flea in the blanket then destroy all the blanket by burning it. The criminal Turkish mind does not think about a way to save the blanket by spraying flea killer for example. It thinks only for blood. Even if the Armenians, some Armenians, have guilt let me say for the sake of argument, then that "guilt" do not justify for what they did by massacres, slaughters, hunger and deportations. Would not have been a human thing, even before 1915, to return to Armenians their own lands that the Turks occupied for centuries and establish there a free Armenia faithful to the Turkish Empire and to Turkey? But since they took the inhuman easy way, despite what they say, argue and write, someday the universal law will return their evil deeds upon themselves. Here is an Irish man by the name of: Sir Robert Anderson (1841-1918) was converted to Christ at the age of nineteen and almost immediately began to preach in his native Dublin where he trained for a legal profession at Trinity College. He became a respected member of the Irish Home Office and an expert on criminal investigation. In 1888, he was summoned to Scotland Yard, London, to serve as Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department, an office he filled with distinction until retirement in 1896. At his retirement, he was knighted by Queen Victoria; and in 1901, King Edward VII made him Knight Commander. In the midst of all his many duties, he managed to gain a profound knowledge of the Bible, preach in various conferences, and write seventeen books. And here is an excerpt from Anderson's book: The Silence of God the excerpt is from chapter 1, page 3. I did not read that book but took the excerpt from http://shoebat.com/2014/01/05/muslims-killed-man-got-knees-licked-blood/ "Over 60,000 Armenians have been butchered. In Trebizond, Ezeroum, Erzinghian, Hassankaleh, and numberless other places the Christians were crushed like grapes during the vintage. The frantic mob, seething and surging in the streets of the cities, swept down upon the defenseless Armenians, plundered their shops, gutted their houses and jested with the terrified victims, as cats play with mice. The rivulets were choked up with corpses; the streams ran red with human blood; the forest glades and rocky caves were peopled with the dead and dying; among the black ruins of once prosperous villages lay roasted infants by their mangled mothers’ corpses; pits were dug at night by the wretches destined to fill them, many of whom, flung in when but lightly wounded, awoke underneath a mountain of clammy corpses, and vainly wrestled with with death and with the dead, who shut them out from light and life for ever. A man in Ezeroum, hearing a tumult, and fearing for his children, who were playing in the street, went out to seek and save them. He was borne down upon by the mob. He pleaded for his life, protesting that he had always lived in peace with his Moslem neighbours, and sincerely loved them. The statement may have represented a fact, or it may have been put a plea for pity. The ringleader, however, told him that that was the proper spirit, and would be condignly rewarded. The man was then stripped, and a chunk of his flesh cut out of his body, and jestingly offered for sale: “Good fresh meat, and dirt cheap, exclaimed some of the crowed. “Who’ll buy fine dog’s meat?” echoed the amused bystanders. (In Sir Robert Anderson, The Silence of God, ch. 1, p. 3)" In the sight of universal law, to butcher with human reason or without human reason, is the same; this law is impersonal. But its on the side of those who forgive

Well it looks that Tom came back looking for Tenny Adamian and they got married and moved to live together in England. Happy endings happens! Love on a Bike: one cyclist's journey of romance and adventure Posted by Tom Seymour 5 February 2014 http://www.theguardian.com/environment/bike-blog/2014/feb/05/love-on-a-bike-cyclist-journey-film#start-of-comments That's not to say the journey was easy. The lowest moment, Allen says, was arriving in Sudan and realising the next town lay across 1,000km of desert – and he just had a compass for guidance. "I had a limited amount of water, a limited amount of food, not much shelter and a sandy track for a road. I've never felt so vulnerable or helpless, before or since." At this point, Allen was thinking of Tenny, a 28-year-old Iranian graphic designer he fell for in Armenia. He lived with her for eight months, but was getting itchy feet. So he convinced her to cycle on with him, even though Tenny hadn't cycled since she was a child and had never travelled beyond her native Iran and adopted home of Armenia. Their first trip, they decided, would be to Tehran, the capital of Iran, to meet her parents. "It was extremely foolhardy for us to even try it," Allen says. "She agreed to cycle with me out of passion rather than pragmatism." "When you meet someone and you realise he's the person you've always been waiting for, it allows you to make very big decisions," Tenny says. "But cycling was completely new to me, and the whole idea was pretty confusing. He convinced me that cycling to Iran would be a great idea, and I remember thinking it was something I can do to be with him. But by about the middle of the first day, I wanted to go home to Armenia." When they reached Tehran, her parents went berserk. "We've had an evening of shouting, crying and being told in no uncertain terms there is no way on this planet we are going to continue the journey," Allen says in the film. "Everything I hoped for us has just been mercilessly blown away." "My parents were very upset with us," Tenny says. "They were upset we did it in secret, and they were very worried about me. Part of the challenge was knowing I was doing it without my family's support. But I felt I had to make a decision for myself." Tenny's parents grew used to the idea. Tom and Tenny got married in Armenia and cycled back to the UK. They now live between Norfolk and Armenia and work as professional "adventure cyclists", still spending months on the road. Yet Tom is more settled now, more willing to spend eight hours a day in front of a computer. "I know what I'm doing now," he says. But, reflecting now, what did he learn from the experience of naively doing it in 2006? "A journey like that can go on and on and on. It can feel there's no end to it. I packed in everything to do it, so it could be scary," he says. "But you'd be surprised how quickly you realise there isn't supposed to be an end – just the present moment, just the next bend in the road - that there's always a road that hasn't yet been taken, but that's no reason not to take it. I'd encourage anyone to try it."

Just being in the land of opportunity was enough. Armed with a student visa, he was sponsored by the Rev. Haigazoun Melkonian, then pastor of St. Gregory Armenian Church. “Go to school, get an education, and use your talent to secure a good job,” the priest told him. “We have a wonderful, supportive community in Haverhill. We’re all behind you.” So off Papalian went, securing a GED from Haverhill High School. Next he attended Northern Essex Community College, where he earned an engineering degree. He lived where he could, working in pizza shops, bagging groceries in supermarkets, and cooking in restaurants. The extra money he earned went back to Iran to support his family. A brother had been killed in the war when the Shah of Iran was overthrown. Papalian went off to California a few years later, securing a job as a gold salesman. There he met his future wife and eventually settled down. Later, he returned east and decided to venture forth with a self-owned business. Two weeks after opening a jewelry store locally, he was robbed. Thieves cleaned out $50,000 worth of merchandise — every locket and ring he owned. Not to be defeated, he started again with another jewelry store across the border along Route 125 in Plaistow. Papalian slowly recovered, enough to open a second and a third jewelry business in Southern New Hampshire. A man of strong Christian character, he served his community and church dutifully, spending 15 years as an ordained deacon and putting his faith in God. Now, the 53-year-old Papalian is on a different path. He’s down to one jewelry store being managed by employee Khachik Mouradian, who has been with him for 14 years. Papalian is in West Africa mining gold. He had heard and read about Ghana being one of the top eight countries in the world for gold prospecting, so he staked a claim there. Papalian picked up 100 acres of land on the frontier. The mining license he was required to get carried a stipulation. He needed to perform community service in that country. Aside from the land, all the machinery and equipment, all the geologists and the 20 paid employees he wound up hiring, he became responsible for a school and orphanage in the heart of “nowhere,” he said. The children have a name for Papalian. They call him “Papa,” a derivative of his surname. Sometimes, it’s Rafik Papa. Other times, Papa Rafik. He adopted two orphaned girls and placed them into caring homes. He drops by the school some days so covered in mud and grime from digging that he showers with his clothes on to clean them as well. Papalian calls his venture the Ashanti Gold Mining Belt. Google it and you’ll see what it’s all about. “My jewelry business hit a lull and I needed a career change, a new investment,” he said. “We made a family commitment to sacrifice in order to make this work.” The name “Ghana” means “warrior king.” In some ways, it typifies Papalian. He’s been a true warrior through the ordeal inside a land known for its instability and where weapons roam freely. There is no hot running water. Extreme heat of more than 100 degrees arrives daily. There are few basic necessities. Nets are required for sleeping. The mosquitoes are so vicious, they’re like bloodsuckers. That’s the life he’s chosen for himself these past 2½ years, making it back home every six months to check on family matters and his jewelry business. Walk inside his shop along Route 125 in Plaistow and you’ll see handbags and shoes on display, the proceeds of which support the orphans. With a wife and four children, the prospecting project become a lesson in resiliency for Papalian. Gold prospects have ranged from one- to 10-gram nuggets. Diamond deposits have been an added inducement. “Right now, we’re at the break-even point,” he said. “With the gold we’ve found, it’s led to better equipment and pumping machines. The best is yet to come. I see it happening.” He set up quarters inside a guest house. His room is about 10 feet square. Typical foods are yams, plantan (bananas) and other fruits. Bush meat comes from anything caught in the wild. Papalian is cultivating an Armenian community there. He’s hooked up with four Belgium Armenian prospectors who have been mining for 11 years. They get together, speak their native language, even prepare some Armenian cuisine. He’s also learned to communicate in Chie, the native language of Ghana. “When we put the new company together, it’ll be called ‘Ararat Mining’ after our mountain in Armenia where Noah landed his Ark after the great flood,” Papalian envisions. “And we’ll fly the Armenian flag as our symbol. It might just be the only Armenian flag in all of Africa.” February 6, 2014 A golden education Local prospector stakes claim in Africa, supports school thereBy Tom Vartabedian Correspondent - See more at: http://www.hgazette.com/local/x1262673226/A-golden-education#sthash.3ZxxkmVW.dpufFebruary 6, 2014 A golden education Local prospector stakes claim in Africa, supports school thereBy Tom Vartabedian Correspondent - See more at: http://www.hgazette.com/local/x1262673226/A-golden-education#sthash.3ZxxkmVW.dpufFebruary 6, 2014 A golden education Local prospector stakes claim in Africa, supports school thereBy Tom Vartabedian Correspondent - See more at: http://www.hgazette.com/local/x1262673226/A-golden-education#sthash.3ZxxkmVW.dpuf

Something I read from a reliable place years ago, the year may not be exact but around that year, Baku then was a town and not a metropolitan city like in Soviet times or as now; imagine the Armenian Shushi in Artsakh had more inhabitants then than Baku had. So this is not something that you read in the history books of the West but Armenians remember and write about. The British decided that the Armenians were a hard people to deal with then, so they helped the Tartars & the Turks and they even do now for the sake of the petroleum as BP is the big pipeliner of Azeri oil. Initially the Armenians of the Tashnag party prevailed against the Tartars&Turks defending Baku but when British took side they were defeated. As to my source where I read it I do not remember exactly the place, but in this age of googling if someone googles that subject and spend time --confirmation of my saying will prove to be true.

Armenian in the Middle East living in Arab countries never are told their true history under the Arabs. That part is banned to them and censored so that it makes Arabs to them looking like angels doing much good to them and not any harm when they overrun Armenia. Not so in the Republic of Armenia where the real history with records are kept and they are free to study, research and write; something forbidden to Armenians in Arab countries. As a correction, only one real apostle/disciple of Jesus Christ went to India, Thomas and his legacy is still alive there. He never harmed or killed anyone but by the power of the Holy Spirit was able, in the part he went to, to make them Christians who still are Christians and worship there in churches. Contrary to Arab wild hoards who when they came to India slaughtered and massacred millions of Hindu (this also is not told in Arab countries) who refused to convert to Islam. The Hindu that converted to Islam, later on the British separated them to western part of India in modern Pakistan. If we look from the prism of Islam of what happened to the Soviet Union when Russians from Moscow dissolved it peacefully without bloodshed (except what happened in Armenian Karabagh with Muslim Azeris), then the Russians according to the Muslim rules or religion --should have massacred and slaughtered all the people living in different Soviet countries in Asia, in Caucasus, and in eastern Europe, and then called their countries Russian land and property after most of their inhabitant have been killed. But luckily the Russians were Christians at heart even though they were under Communist system physically. In Islam they teach that if they conquer a country that country from then forward is Islamic and the lands belongs to them, given to them by their god, and if the population is not Christian or Jewish then they have to accept Islam or all are killed by Muslims. If people are Christians or Jewish then they should be subjugated, humiliated and made to pay special taxes in order for Muslims to allow them to live. However this agreement between them is not for forever and Muslim feels they are entitled to kill the non-Muslims any time they like provided a Muslim religious imam or the Caliphate himself orders it. But in Syria we see the killing of Christians is going on even without an order from imam or mufi as they believe killing Christians and Jews will open the paradise to them.

‘Christianity should be destroyed and wiped from the face of the earth,’ al-Mohammedi said. ‘It is an evil demonic and Anti-Christ system, all Christians are in complete Ignorance.’ http://midnightwatcher.wordpress.com/2012/07/07/muslim-group-christianity-should-be-destroyed-and-wiped-from-the-face-of-the-earth-it-is-evil-and-demonic/ While in this link they consider Islam being the Anti-Christ system and the muslims being the ones in complete ignorance: http://shoebat.com/ http://tedshoebat.com/ Anyone with eyes and heart, clearly can see Islam had much more bloodshed in hands than Christianity (do not even try to tell an Armenian on the contrary..this is not in reference to the Genocide by the Turks only but even before that when the Arabs conquered Armenia) ...presently there are examples in hand what the Christians are going through in the Middle East, specially in Syria, after the Arab Spring. But you can read about those bloodshed history from India to Spain shed by Islam when the neocons of America did not exist then. If someone living in the middle east or any muslim country or sympathetic to muslims that someone can not be informed about those blood shed or his own blood will be shed. In America, specially after 9/11, many serious research have been done openly and books have being written in the hundreds on the subject of Islam and Islam's bloodshed with no repercussions because of the free-speech in America.

in reply to 1 & 2: Puin did not examine and document ALL the Yemani HOARD. Only some. And why? 2- because the Yemeni authorities did not let him do further study on them, they told him to pack his things and leave, which Puin did, leaving his work unfinished there. As to 3: God gets angry when His Words are twisted and made to meant opposite of what He indents. If someone is a blind follower of what has on hand and clueless that is not for me to say what God will do with him. God was angry on ancient Israelite because they asked God's representative "What are You doing?" [Ezekiel 12:9]. So I will neither ask God or His true rep.: what are you doing? The reality was twisted in Arabia by some Christian sects and Jesus Christ was stripped of His divinity and of His Sonship, that is a sure thing and was very wrong, period. It's said that a relative of his first wife was a Christian or was familiar about the Christian religion and indicated what angel visited the Muslim prophet at the cave. Also that the first wife was a Christian and not a pagan when she married the Muslim prophet. Now we may ask what kind of Christians were they? Those Arabs learned from those Christian sects i mentioned (like Ebionotes, Nestorians, and Arians) and not much were converted because truth was not by those sects and the Arabs did not have the revelations from the Holy Spirit who Jesus talked about. So until now, Muslims are not able to distinguish between the truth and the false, the wrong from the right. http://midnightwatcher.wordpress.com/2012/07/07/muslim-group-christianity-should-be-destroyed-and-wiped-from-the-face-of-the-earth-it-is-evil-and-demonic/ http://midnightwatcher.wordpress.com/2011/08/30/egypt-rising-islamic-leader-declares-we-will-launch-a-campaign-of-islamic-conquest-throughout-the-world-exterminate-christians-who-get-in-the-way-of-sharia/ http://www.wnd.com/2012/07/muslim-group-wipe-christianity-from-face-of-earth/ So the Arabs for political reasons decided to have their own monotheist god since monotheism was the fashion then or they thought monotheism has more future than the worship of myriad idol gods. This thing in Arabia was prophesied in the Old Testament, though there is no mention of a person like Mohamed coming. In Isaiah 21:9 "..fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the images (idols) of her gods are shattered on the ground". Babylon in Bible refers to false pagan religion, and Mecca took many of its idols from Babylon, from the areas of ancient Iraq. Regardless what Puin writes, the oral religious book of Islam, or the revelations since the word "book" was not mentioned early on, those revelations were most-likely fabrications, made (or adopted) by certain Arabs with (or under) the influence of those sectist Christian teachings. In north Africa for example, the Catholic teaching was preached only (except in Egypt) and it was so until Arab wild hoards overrun north Africa. While the real disciples of Jesus went to Syria, Greek, Macedonia, Asia Minor (including Armenia) and of course Rome. Some stayed in Palestine of course.

This bill when passed would make Turks block sites about the Armenian Genocide, if they are not doing it already, and freeze social media sites when used for organizing demonstrations Turkey ramps up internet censorship despite protests Published time: February 06, 2014 http://rt.com/news/turkey-internet-censorship-bill-861/ Turkey’s parliament has passed legislation which toughens government control over the internet. Critics say PM Tayyip Erdogan's government is attacking freedom of expression and investigative journalism with the move. The bill, which is yet to be signed into law by the Turkish president, would allow the authorities to block websites without a court order within just hours. It also requires that internet service providers (ISPs) store data on their clients’ online activities for two years and provide it to the authorities on request. The legislation amends Turkey’s law 5651 of 2007, which already gives the government authority for online censorship. It allows the blocking of websites violating Turkish law. The prohibited content includes criticism of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey, promotion of suicide, online gambling available for minors and pirated media. Among the sites blocked or fined under the law were video sharing services YouTube and Vimeo, blogging tool Wordpress and several online media outlets. The new bill was passed late Wednesday by the parliament dominated by the Erdogan’s AKP party, is part of a package. The package is meant to consolidate government’s power amid a corruption inquiry, which the prime minister calls a "judicial coup" against his government. Erdogan previously expressed suspicion over Internet and social media, branding Twitter a "scourge" for helping organize mass nationwide anti-government protests in June. As the amendment was debated, some opposition legislators compared Erdogan’s actions with those of Nazi Germany leader Adolf Hitler, who was elected into power in a democratic election only to transform the country into a militaristic powerhouse under his rule. “When you came to power you talked of enhancing democracy in Turkey – now you are trying to implement fascism,” opposition MP Hasan Oren charged. "This is against the constitution,” fellow opposition legislator Umut Oran said. “Bans like this exist in times of coups and have not been able to conceal any corruption." The governing AKP party dismisses the accusation of conduction an attack on freedoms. "The latest regulations are not censorship and are not a ban," party deputy Necdet Unuvar said in comments on his personal website. "They are regulations needed to protect the confidentiality of private life." Turkish activists rallied against the bill in mid-January shortly after it was announced. The protest was dispersed by riot police, who used water cannons and tear gas against hundreds of opponents of the bill. Activists are planning a new protest against the legislation on Saturday. In January, Turkey passed controversial legislation forbidding the provision of emergency first aid without a government license, punishable by up to three years in prison and a heavy fine. Critics of the government say the law is part of a crackdown on protests, as it outlaws discreet medical treatment of activists injured in clashes with the police.

In this one Mary, the mother of Jesus, is giving us, in the 4th paragraph, a real glimpse of the life of Jesus as she witnessed first-hand when Jesus was walking on earth.. February 2nd, 2014 @ 17:09 My dearest children, I ask that you recite my Most Holy Rosary every day from now on to protect this Mission from satanic attacks. By reciting my Most Holy Rosary, each day, you will dilute the wickedness of Satan and those he influences, when he tries to take souls away from following this special Call from Heaven. All those of different faiths must begin also to recite my Holy Rosary, for it will bring each of you great protection. The Most Holy Rosary is for everyone and those who want to benefit from my protection – the Gift I received from God to defend souls from the evil one. So many of you, dear children, will be tormented unless you relent. Otherwise, you will pull away from this Mission. The enemies of God will use every power they can to stop you. They will pull at you, scream abuse at you and accuse you of evil things. Ignore this and allow me, your beloved Mother of Salvation, to give you comfort and provide you with all the protection you need. During my Son’s Mission on Earth, He was betrayed in so many ways. They waited in villages for Him, with stones in their hands. When He walked by, with hundreds following Him, they hurled these stones at Him from behind shelters, so that no one would know who they were. They hated Him; reported Him to the Church authorities; spread wicked lies about Him and said He spoke with an evil tongue and blasphemed against God. Yet, not one of them could explain exactly how He was guilty of such things. They then spent much time urging His disciples to deny Him. Many of them did. Then, the Pharisees warned all those who worshipped in the temples that, should they continue to follow my Son, they would never be allowed inside the House of God again. And many of them stopped following my Son. These same souls cried bitter and sorrowful tears after my Son was crucified, for it was only then that they realized how they had wronged Him. The same will be true of this Mission, which paves the way of the Lord and the Great Day for my Son’s Second Coming. Every effort will be made to weaken the Remnant Church. Every attempt will be made to weaken your resolve. Every plan will be created to encourage you to turn your backs on your own salvation and that of others. You must never allow the spirit of evil to dampen your spirit, weaken your faith or encourage you to deny my Son. Never lose trust in my Son or His Promise to come again to bring man the New Beginning. He will never let you down. He understands how difficult it is for all of you, the pain which you endure, as well as the sacrifices you make for Him. Remember, you are His and when you are truly part of Him and surrender to Him, you become part of His Light. The Light of God, present in souls, draws out the darkness, which is present in other souls. When Satan uses souls in this way, he will make his rage known and felt. When objections are raised against this Mission, which is blessed by God, they will never be rational or calm. The frenzy shown will be a clear sign as to how much this Mission is hated by Satan. That is why my Holy Rosary must be said, every day, by all of you, in order to protect this Mission. Always trust in my instructions, because I have been told by my Son to help all of you to deal with the pressures you will have to endure on His behalf. Your beloved Mother Mother of Salvation

No Koranic, I disagree. It says "texts" and not phrases or words or letters with vowels or without. Text is text, which certainly refers to entire paragraphs if not chapters. Why they did not let those Yemani versions of Koran be published? As to Neocons, it looks to you any Zionist or Zionist sympathizer is a neocon, you can not generalize like that. Just because someone is pro modern state of Israel does not mean that someone is wrong, not reliable upon, and because of his motivation his conclusions are wrong. Not all Zionists are biased and in general Jews have the freedom of self-criticism. Most Armenians do not like Zionists, and Zionists hate us and they call us names. In this forum we stay away from conspiracy things and we shun the conspiracy realm, so do not get into that. I hope the Ebionite sect have caught your attention. They were not alone, there were the Nestorians near Arabia in Iraq, and the Arianism sect; all of which did not believe in divinity of Jesus, nor of His being the Son of God, they believed that the New Testament scriptures have been corrupted and changed from the original; and of course they were of one mind that God is one --exactly what the Muslims believe and what is tought in Islam, so those things were not Islamic revelations but mere repetition of what those three Christian-Jewish sects preached. It is sad that real Christians did not go to Arabia to preach but only members of those three sects mentioned went and gave the false image of Christianity to the Arabs who later composed their own book of religion (first orally then in written form), and after that they united the tribes and went for conquest and building an empire. The mongol Ghengis Khan also after uniting the tribes of Mongolia went conquering the world by his army; also the pagan Armenian king Tikgan the Great united the kingdoms of Armenia then build an empire. Same for the Romans who after uniting the tribes in Italy went building an empire. So the secret is not the religion but the force that comes from unity.

That thought just came to me MAN, then I realized that there are many Armenians who feel this way. We have solidarity but little of genuine love (except in RA). Armenians are divided into American-Armenians, France-Armenians, Arab-Armenian, Turk-Armenians, and so like of south American countries. If there is something to bind us together it should have been LOVE; sad to say there is not enough love. Some people we are associated with like the Arabs, the Turks, and to a lesser extend the Russians --do not know themselves what love is. And Armenians living there have absorbed their loveless-ness. Is there a hope for Armenians? If people like Arpa do not call themselves Armenian then I believe there is: Armenians should not make fun of other Armenians, laughing at Sasuntsi bakers for example, those same bakers that are being thrown into their own baker ovens and burned alive right now in Iraq or Syria by Muslims. Those Aleppo male Armenians who most came from Turkey most do homosexual acts -a vice they learned and absorbed from the Turks. Armenians should not be so proud as this pride thing is a sin before God. I know a friend who when he came first from RA to America started doing menial works like washing dishes, serving in restaurants, and mopping flours; things that an Arab-Armenian will never do no matter what because of their pride saying doing those things belongs to Kurds & Turks & Arabs.

To you remember records of Armenians being packed into caves in 1915 by the Muslim Turks with burning woods then closing the entrances of the caves.... By Ted on February 2, 2014 in GeneralBy Theodore Shoebat Muslims in Iraq murdered a number of people who worked in a bakery by cooking them in their own own ovens. One Iraqi resident, Muhammad Al-Said, said: The situation was terrible – with killing, atrocities, and fear as the background. Unidentified armed men came into town, but it was obvious that they were Jabhat al-Nusra militants …The worst crime they committed was that they toasted people in ovens used to bake bread when those people came to buy it. They kidnapped and beat up many Watch this video in which it is explained that Muslims in Iraq recently murdered a number of employees at a bakery by cooking them in their own ovens: Video in the link http://shoebat.com/2014/02/02/muslims-murder-bakers-baking-ovens/

In this link there are some Hamshin songs, good luck: http://www.hemshin.org/songs.html From same site some history. They are divided in 3 main groups. The ones in Abkazya and Grasnodor were lucky to escape the massacres of the Turks and assimilation, their Hamshin dialect is slightly different than their kins in Turkey, its more like pure Armenian (no Turkish words), and the Kurdish video that hagopn first posted, if it's in Hamshin dialect then surely it belongs to those Northern Hamshentsis and not to those of Turkey. In the 8th century, the Armenian Prince Hamam and his father Prince Shabuh Amadouni were forced to leave their lands in Ardaz [map in link] (Vasburagan) under the pressure of the Arab Invasion. The 2 Princes along with their priests, people and soldiers moved to the Black Sea Region where they settled in the destroyed City of Tambur and its surrounding villages (currently Hemshin and ChamliHemshin). Prince Hamam rebuilt the city of Tambur and called it Hamamshen (which in Armenian means Hamam’s city --[actually I think it means 'build by Hamam'. Another thought, is this Armenian prince the one who created the bathhouses and called them "hamam" after his name, a word the Turks took from the Armenians; so after all there are no 'Turkish' hamams but Armenian hamams to bath and scrub] ...and over the years Hamamshen became Hamshen in Armenian and Hemshin in Turkish.... they preserved their Armenian Identity, traditions, culture, Christian religion and language for many centuries. Until the 14th century, Hamshen was a kingdom and was ruled by its princes. Almost each village had its Church and its priest....With the establishment of the Ottoman Empire, the problems of Hamshen increased. Look in link for more: http://www.hemshin.org/history.html Current Situation: Currently, there are 3 main groups of Hemshinlis spread over a large geographic area. 1. Eastern Hamshentsis Eastern Hamshentsis - better known as Hopa Hamshentsis - are the people living in Artvin Province (Turkey); mainly between the cities of Hopa and Borcka. They are dispersed all over Turkey (Ankara, Istanbul, etc...) and Europe (Germany, France). Hopa Hamshentsis are Sunni Muslims. They refer themselves as Homshetsi and their language as Homshetsma (which is basically Armenian). Hopa Hamshentsis came from Hemsin region during the 18th century. They survived the massacres by converting to Islam but were able to keep their language. In the 19th century, a large group of Hopa Hamshentsis migrated to the southern part of Adjaria (currently in Georgia) and settled in 6 villages close to the Turkish border. However, in 1944, upon the orders of Stalin they were all deported to Central Asia where they continue to live. Another group of Hopa Hemshinlis were transferred to several villages of Sakarya province (Achmabashi and nearby villages) during the 1850s where they still live and keep their language. Here in this video Hopa Hemshin Armenians are having a feast with wild dancing: 2. Western Hamshentsis Western Hamshentsis - better known as Bash Hamshentsis - are the people living in Rize Province (Turkey) [next to Trabizon]; mainly in Hemshin, Chamlihemshin and the surrounding villages. They are also dispersed in the main cities of Turkey (Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, etc…) along with Europe and US. Bash Hamshentsis speak Hemshinji (Hemsince: a Turkish dialect with many Armenian letters) and are Sunni Muslims. 3. Northern Hamshentsis Northern Hamshentsis are the people currently living on the northern and eastern coasts of the Black Sea [between Rize and Batum]. Mainly in Abkhazya (Georgia) and Grasnodar (Russia). They migrated from Hemsin, Cemlihemsin, Rize, Trabzon, Samsun and Ordu during 18th and 19th centuries. They speak Homshetsma (similar to Hopa Hamshentsis). Northern Hamshentsis are Christians and unlike most of their brothers in Turkey they know their Armenian origins and some of them have moved to Armenia in the 20th century. Hamshen history is mixed with blood and tragedy but it’s the history of a courageous and proud people who continue to remain loyal to its roots and ancestors.

Speaking of Laz, after viewing this video I am convinced the dialect in question is Laz one after all:

Now take this!!! A word of wisdom from MAN himself: The dis-amazing thing is not that the Armenians have been chopped, massacred to pieces by the Arabs, Turks (and in a certain degree by some Jews) and forced into exiles, the amazing thing is that after all that catastrophes that befell upon their heads and lands, Armenians still are divided and love to each other is a rare thing. All that miseries the Armenians suffered from did not bring them together, did not put love for each other deep into their hearts. If you ask me which was worst? The killings that the Armenians have endured or the lack of unity and love among them? I would certainly say the second.

I tried looking for another version of that song in Hemshen section of youtube, no luck so far, I leave the search to others, meanwhile here are 2 Hemshen Armenian songs, they are distinctively different from the one you posted hagopn. I had a tape recorded with an Armenian song in Tikransketsi dialect sung by a real Tikranaketsi Armenian, which should have looked close or similar to Sasun Armenian dialect since those two towns are not too far from each other. But I do not know where I put that old cassette tape.

Iranian Army Preparing by Wargames http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13921108000611 Jan 28, 2014 TEHRAN (FNA)- Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said his forces will stage eight sets of drills in the next Iranian year (starts March 21, 2014). "The Ground Force programs for the year 1393 (March 2014-March 2015) comprise of eight wargames, including a drill in the cyber field for the first time,” he said. The Iranian commander underlined Iran’s full preparedness to confront enemy’s possible threats, but stressed that the Armed Forces need to maintain their preparedness through exercises. Iran's Army and IRGC hold regular warg-ames to practice combat tactics and also test new home-made military tools, equipment and weapons in action. Iranian officials and commanders have repeatedly underlined that all military exercises and trainings of the Iranian Armed Forces are merely meant to serve deterrent purposes. "When the enemy observes that our Armed Forces are constantly in wargame zones and their fingers are kept on the trigger, it will not dare to invade the Islamic Iran's borders," Pourdastan said in January, underlining the significance of military trainings for boosting the country's deterrent power. As regards the Iranian Armed Forces' military exercises, Pourdastan described wargames as "very important" to the Iranian military, and said drills have provided the Iranian military forces, including the Army Ground Force, with an opportunity to test its achievements and remove deficiencies for future missions. The Iranian Ground Force conducted Beit ol-Moqaddas 25 in the general zone of Isfahan from May 20 to 24 in a bid to boost its units' military preparedness and exercise different asymmetric tactics. Lieutenant Commander of Ground Force for Training General Hossein Shokouhi told FNA at the time that different army units, including air force, airborne, infantry, armored, cavalry, artillery, air-defense, drone, communications and logistical units participated in the wargames. Shokouhi further noted that during the drills, the Iranian army tested its latest home-made weapons and equipment, including the newly unveiled Shaher sniper rifle, Neinava tactical vehicle, optimized Scorpion tanks, anti-chopper launchers, Fadak wireless radio and Akhgar machinegun. The commander also said that Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and aircrafts were used in the exercises for reconnaissance and aerial imaging operations. --------------------------- What caught my attention was the "Scorpion tanks" and "Abaddon" in the Book of Revelation as it's considered to be located near Basra in southern Iraq. Revelation 9:9-11 "They had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to battle. They have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men for five months. They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon."
