den_wolf
Do you have strange fears? I don't mean serious and important fears as fear to die, to loose someone.. no... just stupid phobias. Fear of failure (is that a phobia?) I mean, fear of forgetting all I know in philosophy (not that I know a whole lot, but whatever I know). Fear of spiders (arachnophobia?). ckBejug
Do you have strange fears? I don't mean serious and important fears as fear to die, to loose someone.. no... just stupid phobias. I am afraid of looking in through a window to a dark room or outside into vast spaces... like if I have to pass a window at night and it looks outside to a big backyard or a room that's dark... Creeps me out. I'm afraid I'm going to one day see someone looking back, which would probably scare me to death. Someone just standing there looking back... Oh, creepy. den_wolf
JustLooking, have you read Henry James' "The Turn of the Screw"? It deals exactly with that type of thing.
Anonymouse
I have a fear of change, in the temporal sense, things just aren't the same any more looking at old pictures and wondering who the hell you've become. Time is fluid like ooblick, try to hold on too hard and everything just shatters.
hyebruin
fear is losing faith or not having any, and seeing things with your eyes instead of your heart's wisdom---ahhh the wisdom of the heart, a subtle voice within that strives to lead us onto the right pathway, but which we often ignore, and become prisoners of our sensory perceptions which distort 'reality' and paint the picture contained in our imagination instead of the canvas that is staring us in the face... Anoushik
fear is losing faith or not having any, Yes Bruin, this happened to me last year (if by faith you also mean having faith in a spiritual being). I was very aware that I'd lost faith and I thought my life had become purposeless. But somehow, my lost faith in the spiritual turned into my faith in humanity and I started looking at life with a different perspective. I have to say, I like it better this way. den_wolf
Losing faith is not that bad a thing in my opinion, because it means that one is questioning, which, in turn, means that one is thinking rather than blindly following. When I drive over bridge I always think that right about now the bridge will collapse and I’ll die and I start to think how I would get out of the car if I somehow survived… Does anyone have this kind of thought when driving over a bridge??? Sasun
oops, sorry angel ... something must be wrong with me Edit: Actually now that I looked more at your avatar, it is not really scary - the face is very beatiful with all features, almost like a perfect shape. But one thing I guess that scared me is the green eyes on a black and white picture, quite unusual. Well, Angelik, I am not scared any more
