zurderer
what do you classify turkish under? Citizens of Turkey, and some older ottomans people who call himself as Turks.(Bulgarian, cyprus, greece ext turks) well actually, you didnt adapt to anything, you stole constantly. You cant steal a culture. ever wonder why you ahve some "native turks" with blond hair and blue eyes? like me? you tell me turk...tell me, are you able to read "turkish" (arabic and some vomit sounds added to it i guess) from about 90 years ago? before ataturk (or as i like to call him, captain sh*t head) changed your language to become the wests b*tch? I can understand is somewhat, how much do you understand urartu langauge? none? It was not even an indo european langauge. you talk alot but those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it. your land is built on blood that time cant wash away...sooner or later the 1.5 million will catch up to you...and therel be no one to save you then. Tell it to indians of America. If there would be noone to save us from a danger, so we will defend ourself and die. Not much different than other nations do before they extinct. Or do you think, your nation will survive forever? I should add zeki muren is best! It is a real muzik. Not some sounds. And yeah my friend, It is creativity. Exotic
I came late, and i can't be bothered to look through 6pages of material at once, so i'l say what has probably already been stated. The majority of Turkic people are genetically closest to modern day Greeks. Armenians themselves are the closest living relatives to modern day Mizrahi Jews, and also to the forbearer of the Ashkenazim (wannabe Jews) of Europe. So i think this makes for great drama, when a Turk and Armenian disown each other as brothers. They may actually not be. Also the Mongolian influence in Turks is allot less prevalent than Turks make it seem to be. I believe less than 15% of he population in Turkey carry DNA shared by their Tatar conquerers from Central Asia. Although the national Turkic language is drastically different to Armenian and the tongue neighboring nations, the J2(mtdna) is what relates Armenians to Turkish people & Jews of Abraham lol. Here is an interesting article http://www.genomenewsnetwork.org/articles/...3/ancient.shtml Here is also a Genetic study, one I have yet to read, but it looks simple enough for those here to read without being too familiar with Bio genetics. http://www.ias.ac.in/jgenet/Vol83No1/039.pdf Edited March 22, 2007 by Exotic
gamavor
I seriously doubt the credibility of the above studies. Firstly, the reports have no mention of Armenian, let alone any even distant semblance with Jews or Turks. The first study, establishing a connection between Europeans and Asians long before Asians coming to European shores is old news. The Kourgan theory is based on that premise. Lately there have been studies showing European presence (very limited) in Central Asia. Most likely the offspring of Tocharians whose language was close to Armenian. Chronologically later invasions of Indo-Europeans into the heart of Asia are well researched and documented. The second study is plain simple and with no scientific value, rather empirical hypothetical value. It reviews the genetics of the Turks of Anatolia (we prefer the term Asia Minor), which is a futile cause since Turks are not homogenous entity and although the study examines the genetics of the Turks from different geographical locations in Anatolia it is still meaningless since no Turk resembles other Turk in genetic composition except for distant shared Mongolian, east and central Asian ancestry. Well i think you failed to realize that the first link was provided to show connections of Asia Minor and Central Asia. Meaning, much of the genetic connections is due to Asia minor or Upper Mesopotamian migration east, and not just Mongolian voyage west. Did you miss this part? Anyway, history does show that Turks were dominated , unlike Armenians, because Armenians would rather befriended the hordes instead of futile resistance as exuded by the Turks. To answer you question, all conclusive studies show Armenians as the closest group of people to Modern day jews. Also Turks are documented as genetically closer to Greeks than to Armenians! I do not speak of the Diaspora such as "Turkic" people, but Turks who reside in Turkey. You misread my statements and wrongly correlate them with the information provided. gamavor
To answer you question, all conclusive studies show Armenians as the closest group of people to Modern day jews. I haven't seen any credible proof for the above. Modern day Jews are much closer related to East Europeans (Slavs, Dacs, Germans, etc.) than any of the ethnicities of the Middle East. The semitic sefaradim Jews are minority in Israel.

I sense you figure me as a troll? No i am not a (to my knowledge) relative of "Zurderer", nor am familiar with the character of this poster. Why do you ask? I am not Turkish, nor Mongolian descended, so there is very little for me to check. I am curious as to what is "Mongolion Spot"? Turks have been Turks for a long time. When Turks controlled Greece, they left their genetic marker. This trail can be found throughout Turkey, but it lacks traces of any Mongoloid strand. Ever wonder why Turks look like Dark Greeks, and in some cases just plain old Greek? Turks and some Armenians are closer to Greeks than to Arabs! There are many Armenians that are genetically closer to Iranians than to Turks, but Most Armenians are cluster towards the Levant than "Persians". My Armenian root come from Turkey, in a village i will not name.

Hellektor
Hellektor Jan... I promise not to use it. I see your point how it effects arguments risen by Armenians. Asia Minor or on eastern parts is Historical Armenia original homeland of Armens. I stand corrected, I support any Armenian who refutes the Turkesh theory of coming to our ancestrial lands before 1071 ! Hope this comes you down a bit , And one more thing they can't erase history nor pervert it ! We are vigilant and ready for combat in all areana's... Armenians answer the call ! I wasn't angry with you, dear MadArmo, I'm pissed with how us Armenians think we have an ancient culture and history yet we are so easy in accepting crap invented by Turks, we are so horrible in terms of politics. The Turks are great in deceiving people and see how everybody considers fake "Azerbaijan" a real country, while they simply stole the name of the northwest region of Iran (Atrpatakan) for pan-Turkist purposes, counterfeited their "state" on historic Armenian territory and succeeded in making the world believe that a nation called "Azeri" actually exists. The defuct president of fake "Azerbaijan" once said "Armenia is a fictitious state created on Azerbaijani land" and his whelp repeats it on any occasion where the EXACT opposite is true. Why for a change no Armenian government official answers them by stating the truth or demanding a map or a document drawn/written before 1918 that shows a country named "Azerbaijan" north of the Arax? Why no one asks them to produce a historic quote where there is a word about a nation called "Azeri"? You see what I mean? We have all the facts yet we are not using them. Armenia could and had to carpet-bomb Nakhijevan when they were destroying the Jugha cemetery, they could have at least used a helicopter gunship to kill those soldiers who were savagely demolishing the khachkars yet until today nothing has been done from the Armenian side whereas the "Azeri" garbage succeeded in presenting the burning of some dry weed by natural fire in jUnited "Nations" against the Armenians. Why are we so lenient with what they do to us?

You are looking at the world from a completely wrong Judeo-Saxon point of view. Race or DNA has nothing to do with anything. This sick fascist idea of measuring peoples' jaws or foreheads or the shade of their tan to decide the level of their intelligence, culture, etc. is so disgusting I can't find words for it. It's the same thing with the stupid indoEuropean shit. It's enough to tell an Armenian that people of Urartu didn't speak an indoEuropean language (as if they were there or they knew a damn thing from that language) for them to disown their heritage of kingdom of Van. The Turks raped, turkified, stole children for janissary, women for their harems from the indigenous peoples of the lands their filthy hoofs desecrated and that for centuries so they lost their Mongoloid features, what underlines the reality that the Turks were in fact in minority all of the time. Unfortunately, a vital organ did not undergo an iota of change: their Mongol brain is as intact as the ill day they destroyed the cradle of civilization under their stinking paws. At that time they were at the earliest stages of evolution and not much has changed since.

I'm fully aware of deeds done by Turkesh goverment, However we can't seem to conquer out traitors among us, We have to eradicate them as well ... Ridicule twisted propaganda brought to UN by them and expose it by media , Jews cry foul every time some KKK group decides to march in a major city in the US, This is one excellent example, They use brains, money and recruit politicians to be their collective voice. We learn fast but how come we don't support a common agenda !? It's time for a change and new leadership to implement new ideas, bring it on and play victim make it a habbit ... Use April 24 every single day, If you want to march on this day unite let them see over 200,000 young & old Armenians in California marched on this day...
