Anileve
Well this is my new assembled PC (with my old motherboard, for the reasons known to some). It would have looked much better if my drives had silver plates, but you can't have it all can you? Well Seap I showed you mine, now you show me yours... In fact anyone who has a funky PC should post pictures, interesting to get some visuals. Edited February 7, 2004 by anileve

Anileve
Thanks gevo jan, my PC is my current love interest, the case cost me $53 and it's as light as an empty shoe box. As for your dimension, I hope you forgive me for saying this, but I deeply dislike Dell, starting from their lack of reliability ending with their filthy customer support. Sip
Very nice Eve ... but fair is fair so here's mine. http://s93725736.onlinehome.us/Sip/misc/pc.jpg Here are the specs: AMD XP3200+ CPU (200Mhz external clock with x11 multiplier ~2.2Ghz) Asus A7N8X-E motherboard 400Mhz FSB Corsair XMS 6-2-3-2 DDR RAM running at FULL speed (synced with CPU FSB with actual CA2 timing!) ... with heat sink. Asus 9600XT (Radon-based) Video card with AGP 8X and 128MB onboard SRAM running at 499 MHz internally and 594 Mhz DDR memory speed 200 GB Western Digital 7200RPM SATA drive (main) 80GB Maxor 7200RPM Drive 300 GB external Firewire Maxtor drive (for backups) Plextor DVD Rom +/-RW CDR/RW Audio: Onboard Nvidia nForce with 6 channel digital encoding Speakers: Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Theater 5.1 (with digital decoder) All speakers independently signaled through digital connection (dolby) I have run it through 30 hours of Microsoft HCL stress tests as well as FutureMark continuous 3DMark and SysMark tests and since I ditched the crappy Kingston RAM for the Corsair XMS, the system has been ROCK solid!!! The video card has a video in and is dual head (DVI and analog) so it is also serving as my television at the moment.
Anileve
You bastard, you hooked up your front usb!!! And where is your second DVD burner? And where is your clear sliding panel and where is your second fluorescent led fan? And my Plextor is better than yours! In conclusion I win, even if my hard drive is smaller than yours, and I don't mean that with a double connotation, thank you very mucho! Wow so many exclamations. Sip
Ok one step at a time Clear cover is under my desk somewhere .... probably never to be used. No need for second fan as the case is at 80 degrees and hasn't heated up above that No second DVD burner as I haven't even used this one yet! Yes I got the front panel to work! Firewire, 2 USBs AND audio ... mic and headphones PLUS ... my motherboard talks when I boot up!!! Of course it was the first feature I disabled as it was very annoying. But still, this is the first motherboard I have ever had that could talk

As for right now, I am wearing thick socks so I am staying away from any more breezes. Yes I got the front panel to work! Sip
Well, let's not get too carried away with our glory ... as always, when you finish putting a PC like this together, you run into something like THIS.
Anileve
Damn, that was harsh Seap, did you have to do this?!!! Have you no compassion for others, me in particular, are you not sensitive to my “PC Superiority” complex? I need 2 tashkinaks, one to wipe my tears and the other to wipe my drool. It's a freaking BEAST! If I become religious, do you think that God would send me this Beauty?!! $3499.99 - $7999.99, quick I have to call my Russian brothers in the Insurance Business. *Intel® Pentium 4 Hyper-Threading @ 3.8GHz* *System bus 950MHz *-35C that is more freezing than my freezer. * Power Supply VSF 550W Multi-voltage - That would blow a whole in my floor. Although... * 65 lbs is pretty heavy
Sip
I don't think God could afford it. The way I customized mine, it came out to $24,699 when I finally added it to my basket LMAO about the 2 tachkinaks!!! Only a very few would understand that feeling. Azat
What is that wireless phone thing that that old man has. You tell me you can walk around the home and talk on the phone without being connected to a wire? ED
This is for anyone who can explain/help me Why is it in some web sites I get X instead of a picture on an icon, like it’s a window where the picture should be but instead it’s not showing and it’s X in the middle of it for some reason, not all but some. And I do have java installed but this is frustrating. Symantec maybe has something to do with this? This happens to all of my computers, and this started after when I installed firewall and antivirus (Symantec) is there any way around this? Thank you
Azat
Most likely the image is being loaded from a site that is not "safe" for the browser and it is different from the site that you are visiting. You can lower the security levels on your firewall and it should work fine. But be aware that by lowering the security level you may be getting other issues that you don't want.
