PERIOD!!! i do agree with sip! if one is deprived all their life from sex until marriage...well, that kind of sexual tension and the need for a release might make one jump into a relationship or even a marriage that is just plain WRONG!!! for that person!! basically it translates into getting married just so you can "do it"....that is sad!!! and the forecast doesn't look too good either in the long run!! i mean how compatible are you with the person? and what do you have in common? ...besides the need to get laid!? on the contrary, more relationships are statistically ruined due to sex... not the lack of it.. and there are many many many relationships that end up in marriage that are wrong.. and sex in that case is a little bit of the problem.. and kurik jan.. i am minding my own bizz. i just said so in my other post.. we are "discussing" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
angel4hope Posted March 7, 2004 Report Share Posted March 7, 2004 IMO~ well, if youre with someone for a long time and you two are planning on getting married, or are engaged, i think having sex is not "oh my GOD....thats a sin!!" i mean, whats the difference? u know u love the person and that ur gonna spend the rest of ur life together- or at least ur gonna marry them- be with the person in the future...i dont think that a marriage certificate proves that you love one another- but your feelings and your trust do...i dunno, if i were in that situation, im not sure what i would do, but i wouldnt judge another person who did do it before getting married...i thikn it depends on the people involved and their relationship...and YES...people do make mistrakes...doesnt make them a bad person, i mean for example- if a guy and a girl are engaged 2 be married, and they have sex before they get married, and then end up breaking up for whatever reason- then its sad for the girl, cause people think if shes not a virgin, then shes a whore-- but its sad, cause maybe she, at the time of making the cchoic to do it, was totally in love and sure that they were gonna be together, but things happen and no ones perfect, so it would be sad to judge the person upon that... and this relates to the topic, because i think the whole armenian mentality is kinda wrong- that if the girls not a virgin, shes a slutt... also, the whole karmir kndzor thing is ridiculous...that sould only be between the couple- no one else has the right to know such personal things...i think thats just fowl...if they couple love eachother thats all that should matter---and if the girl is a virgin or what not- i dont think its anyones business but her own and her husband's-or fiances..or what not.. i understand that armenian people tie virginity with "nammus" but there comes a point where they pu too much emphasis on virginity and only think towards that and nothing else-- and if thats the case and the guy also wants his wife to be a virgin- then he can try to choose wisely who he gets involved with and ot try to make her virginity the topic of discussion for anyone else but him and her... so basic fact-- no ones business except the girls and the guys...!! I'm not sure if it's the most intimate, but it's definitely intimate, for me anyway. It's more than affection; it's intimate. In fact I think the main enjoyment from kissing is from the intimacy factor while sex could be had purely for physical pleasures (in which case it is nothing more than partner-assisted masturbation really).
