Anonymouse
He used his companion Eva Braun mercilessly and was pretty much about everything illogical. That should be enough of a parallel. I'm now equal with Hitler. Your effeminate friend Thoth has labeled me an anti-Semite in the other section for daring to criticize Israel and Zionism. Funny world we live in where the whiners can do no wrong, and those who bring forth questions are the ones to be smeared and labeled with names. Talk about illogical. If you had half the logic you pretend to have, you would have addressed the problem of "equality" long ago.

So you say you see nothig wrong with women working or such (acting according to her inclinations as your pal Mises states...etc) - but a man who does housework or what have you (perhaps necceasary as an equal partner with a working wife...I mean we can't expect her to do it all no?) - no no to that eh? Again - as I have said all along I can read you loud and clear. You are the biggest coward and charlatan I have ever come accross on the net (probably worse then the worst of Turks I have met) - hiding behind pseudo intellectual blabber - when your true beliefs are plain to see - yet you are to much of a coward to admit. (isn't cowardice the primo sign of effimininity?) You are a women hater and a Jew hater. And critiquing Israel or Zionism is not the criteria - as I certainly do both as it fits. Again - as I have said all along I can read you loud and clear. Can you please find evidence where I said I am against women working? I did give my personal opinion saying, I would rather women remain feminine, not lose their femininity, which feminism leads to. Of course if feminism was just about encouraging development, yay, but it is not, it is for unhampered government legislation, affirmitive action, yay to divorce. I realize people have free will and volition. Your point is thus moot. You don't need tons of legislation, affirmitive action, and big government to help you get that. My overall beef with feminism is once again "equality", for I will ask again to you and anileve, what is equal in nature? I know you'll avoid this question. You are the biggest coward and charlatan I have ever come accross on the net (probably worse then the worst of Turks I have met) - hiding behind pseudo intellectual blabber - when your true beliefs are plain to see - yet you are to much of a coward to admit. (isn't cowardice the primo sign of effimininity?) I think you are right. I am a pseudo-intellectual charlatan and all I do is blabber behind the internet, a true key board warrior. Your point? If so, then why do you and your dominatrix anileve so perturbed by my presence and my thoughts? A really superior, intelligent person, such as you or anileve, realizing you are right, would have given up long ago, citing as one of your examples that I am "a hater" , "insensitive" , "illogical", and a "charlatan". You are a women hater and a Jew hater. And critiquing Israel or Zionism is not the criteria - as I certainly do both as it fits. You have a deap seared hatred or Jews and of women - a typical INFERIORITY complaex if I've ever seen one...pitiful man.... That is untrue. Woe is me. * and for the record (Dan, Sasun etc al) - I see nothing at all wrong with men who wish to be effeminate - or who are for whatever reason...to each their own...do whatever you want woty you life.... Yea, the only way they can "choose" to be effeminate is by brainwashing them with propaganda, and coercion. THOTH
Yes its become obvious to me that belief in God leads to more forgivign and enlightened individuals....not. Yes go on go on...tell us more about how women are inferior, men who contribute in the home and with children are effeminate, women who speak their mind are nazis...etc etc...again we're all ears Oh and Sasun - if you don't like something I say - then just edit my posts as you have done before (actually you do not at all have my permission to do so! You have made inflametory posts and you have arbitrarily edited the posts of others for no descernable reason. Thoth, you have made defaming comments addressed to me and I have ignored, so don't take it as I am someone you can bully. You can't call me feminine, that's insulting for me. I have edited your personally oriented comments in the past because those were insulting to other people. I am sure you object to that -but should I really care? You are the one fashioning as an all accepting liberal yet you don't miss an opportunity to harrass people around who have opposite views. And how about you back up any of your defaming claims such as I am corrupt or other rubbish. So why do you think you can call me effiminate? Now explain this to me. Or you can make a derogatory remark on somebody else's sex life? Do you think you are above the rules to call me or others such? You think you are an old mamber and it might be allowed for you to insult newcomers? So I have made an inflamatory comment? What a false accusation, now show me one such comment. You have totally missed the point of my disagreement on feminism. As for superiority and inferiority, well, do you deny that some people are superior to others, and others are inferior? In other words, are we all equal? If so, how? Once again, for the thousandth time don't evade this issue. You evade, and you turn around and make things up in an imaginitive response like your above quote. On the contrary what makes any male effeminate is their constant whining when they don't get their way or if they lack the tools of logic to present and argument ( and resort to emotional rants and raves and name calling such as you have ). Thus you are an effeminate male, since your beetching reminds me of how a woman beetches on PMS.

Boghos
Interesting thread. I know exactly where Anon is coming from, his ideological framework is somewhat shaped by the great Von Mises and one of his brightest students, Murray Rothbard. Von Mises is one of the key economists of what is defined as the Austrian School (Hayek, a disciple of Mises, got a Nobel prize). Von Mises and especially Rothbaard are basic reading for libertarians. Only simpletons and what we call in these parts of the world "festive leftists" deny the quality and relevance of their work. I come on defense of Anon´s view and nairi´s clear thinking on the subject. Having equal rights, which is obviously beyond discussion doesn´t mean being the same. This point has been made before in previous posts but I repeat it because it is the cornerstone of the anti-radical feminist argument. As much as I am a believer in the various virtues of America I also find a number of instances where certain ideas are exagerated, one of them is militant radical feminism and its ridiculous, blind and reactionary view of the world. That is not prevalent in Sweden for example, one of the countries with the largest participation rates of females in parliament. Moreover radical feminism is often used as a crutch by women out of resentment or some other ill feeling. It is a misplaced concept. Radical feminism as other kinds of idealist/revolutionary concepts work against women and welfare in general. In Soviet Russia righ after the revolution, the USSR was not formally in existence yet, there was a sexual liberation of sorts, it led to a large number of orphans rummaging the streets after a while...we need reform, at the right pace, not slogan shouting, walking the streets and the like, very little was achieved by that even though self proclaimed liberals (and hence superior to yours truly) tend to believe otherwise. Both the Right and the Left have its amount of crooks, cheats and liars, but the issue here is not that, but rather that most so called liberal ideas are based on mistaken but well intentioned ideas. These tend to be the worst. Edited January 17, 2004 by Boghos

Stormig
Sasun, you said, "You can't call me feminine, that's insulting for me." Everyone relax and leave the anonyrat alone. Let all his threads be about talking to himself. I can't even bring myself to read his posts, no matter whom he has studied. It's paradoxical in a forum where people go on about consigning women to their traditional roles to discuss militarist feminism and get worked up over the semantics. I think that if you can hear this from me of all people, it's gotta mean something.

THOTH
Well Boghos - et al - I am very familiar with Mises and Hyek...heck I've even read (a bit of) Ayn Rand (as much [raving] as I could stomach...)...(just an aside - these folks all espose the sort of relativist moral framework that you supposedly deride mouse...and I would be hard pressed to at all consider them to be christian).....but anyway - you migth be surprised that I hold much with there philosphies - at least on the theoretical level - and in some cases practice - however I think that their views (taken or applied as a whole) represent an unrealisable ideal (if it is even that ...but OK i'll admit that for now) - much as Communisim - their polar opposite is. So yes - I am against government interventions and imposition wherever posible (and my past posts will certainly prove me out in this)...but I also live in the real world - and have seen where such is necessary (very...as many people and coorporations etc are just not good and don't care..etc) - in many many cases (and for instance I worked for many years doing oversite work of the EPA - and believe me - even with Governemtn rules many try everythign in the book to evade...and don't care about the consequesces) - (and past experience of more or less unbridled capitalism was such a failure that it has brought about our more socialized system - by necessity. Certainly an evil I agree - but the lesser of such in many cases)...bottom line we need to work towards a functioning balance - and more or less that is what we have...and speaking of whinning - well thats you mouse...aww big bad government...awwww..lol As for feminism...well now its femnazis and radical feminists etc etc...and sure I think that there are those who shout too loudly and complain too much and who have agendas beyond etc...this exists in everything...like you mouse - on the opposite side of the spectrum...by by and large feminism is another necesary (eveil?) well depends I guess)...but the philosophy of equal rights, oppurtunity, voice, and equal treatment and so on and so forth is something (that should be) fundemental...and this means that if women wish to work in any field and wish to funtion in non-traditional roles they should have every right to do such - without restriction or prejudice. Same goes for guys (like Sasun) - they should have a choice - if they wish to be effiminate...where dresses or what not...its OK Sasun...we would hold nothing against you for any of this really...but you mouse - as we have seen from your statements - you disagree with this - on a fundemental level - thoguh you have tried to aquirm form such - but your (own) words are there for all to see. On equality. I find it very disengenous that you mouse harp on this non-issue that anyone is claiming that men and women are equal at all things. This is a non-issue - because there is no one that holds this view. In fact women are clearly superior...LOL. They can bring life into the world and nurture such. etc etc ...by the way please list your complete criteria for measuring superiority of one sex versus the other (and arewe discounting individual variation here?)....and next I would be interested in your theories concerning race superiority. Please elabortate - I mean obviously the races are not equal are they? etc etc Yes you are pathetic. And Boghos - aside for some common economic philosophy that you two share (that I am at all not surprised at - you being just another rich uncaring bastard...LOL)...I would caution you concerning what bed you are choosing to lie in when you buddy up to one of the sort that is our mouse. Deep down it gets pretty ugly...I'm surprised you can't see this...
Boghos
Hello Winston, I have no doubt that you are well acquainted with Mises and so on. But Ayn Rand is not the same thing, actually very far from it in my view. I also wouldn´t call it the opposite to communism. Von Mises proposes a way of looking at economies, a very humane way and more reasonable than most, in my view. But I digress...as to Anon I have no idea of who he really is, I have however reas a few of his posts in this and other topics...he seems sensible often enough...some of his posts are long and a bit confusing but i don´t see an "evil agenda" . Call me naive. Edited January 18, 2004 by Boghos

THOTH
Oh, and on the race issue: should we have quotas for whites in olympic sports, especially track and basketball ? Did you ever hear me calling for any quotoas in any area? I see this as very beside the point. And prove to me that whites have been prevented from acces to tracks and basketball courts first. Obviously quotoa are not the ideal solution...but just the same - there can be no question that African Americans were held in (non-consensual) bondage - and even upon release faced severe discrimintaion (institutionized and otherwise) ..so yes perhaps - as a society - certain steps should be taken to allow for ipward mobility of an entrenched underclass - or do those of us with all the benefits just want to keep ti that way...perhasp we would like bootshine servants again eh? Maybe this is what privilaged people should expect...and why should such underclass people have any rights at all - I mean what kind of a philosophe could have led us down this road - respect for the rights of all men...I mean really now...sounds like some form of weak willed Christian gobblygook...not thew survival of the fittest and let the most powerful/ambitious/ruthless have the full spoils eh? Calm down Winston...you say that you do not argue for quotas but right after you make the case for them...not very logical, if you ask me. Don´t go around telling people that do not agree with your superior, more humane, soft, caring and the like ideas, that they are nazis, neocons and class enemies. That is not nice even though you probably are better than most. The steps to promote a more dynamic society are: education, education and more education. That is the only proven way of making sure that evey one has the same chance, it doesn´t guarantee that they will have the same performance though. And they won´t we know that for a fact.
