ED
Edward,my brother took us out for sushi and I trusted he would know where the best place was to eat it..so he led and we followed..it was on Ventura Blvd..i think it was called Kushyoo, something like that...Yes I am a rookie...tell me something since you're so experienced...these foods, these seafoods especially I suppose, that are suppossed to have special powers,is it really true?Or is it just that your surroundings are special, and that makes for a special evening...like champagne , whenever wherever you have it it makes the even special,it doesn't do anything to you,but you just feel special and fancy when you're holding that glass flute and enjoying the bubbles...Curious minds want to know...ok rookie minds want to know Maral seafood is full of Zink and fatty acids which is good for you, sushi you got to be very careful where you eat, nothing wrong but everything is right (to me) taking your date, husband, wife for a nice romantic dinner at YAMASHIRO, on top of Hollywood hills overlooking the city, with thousand points of lights in front of you, you lift up a glass of MOET, or DON PERIGHNION, as you swallow your sushi flower girl walk’s by, you extend a red rose to your loved one and give her/him a everlasting lustful juicy kiss. On the other hand you can stay home and have the same experiance with your loved one, some crackers, chardoney, apenzeller chease ( or any chease) along with candlights with vivaldy or santana playing in backrounds Edited December 4, 2003 by Edward
THOTH
For me...Aphrodesiac like properties of food....its the red hot spicy stuff (as spicy as it can get) ..thats what does it for me...(just a dopeamine addict I guess...) And Anileve...I'm breathing deep baby...and thinking of us in a happy place...(no beer bottles or pool sticks OK? )
angel4hope
THOTH i can only imagine how badly you flirt in person--your poor wife--feel sorry for her....hahaha
Anileve
How about jumping up and down on the bed, competing who can reach the ceiling first? That could be considered a new form of foreplay you know? And in addition a hell of an unconventional romantic evening.
gamavor
On the other hand you can stay home and have the same experiance with your loved one, some crackers, chardoney, apenzeller chease ( or any chease) along with candlights with vivaldy or santana playing in backrounds NOt any chease. Bri or Emental with slightly toasted black bread. I have no objection for the rest.

Ideal romantic eveninguhhh... well, i don't really know.. hmm.. i'm not really fixed in my preferences, i can work around them depending on the person I'm with and the general mood at the time, but i'd say dinner somewhere in town or something, and then a long walk in the dark, holding hands. lol. ok ok i have no imagination whatsoever, but what can i do

Armine
A nice and quiet study session with my books give up on romance... its does not exist in this century! hyebruin
give up on romance... its does not exist in this century! It is very rare! Also I am so sick of cliche romantic evening.... can't anyone think of something new??? right on girl!! ---it's disturbing how girls think of guys as being "romantic" or "sweet"...b.s.!!! all they're trying to do is getting ready and gearing up for 3rd base and eventually a home run... they just use the word "romantic" instead of the other vulgar hard core one!! <_< ....most guys are just shallow clueless self-centric confused immature idiots with oooooverly inflated egos!! and god knows there's no shortage of this type among armenians either!-- so girls need to get rid of this crappy non-existent "romantic" mentality and ask themselves "does this person respect and care for me? does he put in the effort and the time to be with me and make me happy? does he listen to what i am saying and is interested in the events in my life? can he communicate with me effectively and sincerely puts in the effort to try and understand me? and most importantly IS HE BEING EXLUSIVELY WITH ME???" ---almost anyone drunk and (uhm uhm) enough can be considered "romantic!"--it's time to "katsov durs k@tzenk mer gyankeetz esbes abushnereen...and i MEAN!!! KATSOV!!"---some of them are just leeches sucking up energy and happiness...let them find some other 'dreamer girl' who confuses sex with romance!!! ED
Bruin I dont know where you are comming from, but where I come from WE ( me and my wife) have a lot in common, sex part is not always in my mind, as Armenian man I can say proudly I respect and share EVERYTHING with my wife and family, beeing that romantic evenings, or just a shoulder we BOTH can lean on when we need them, consider me lucky? maybe not, normal relationship I would say, I just wish and hope you take a look deep and hard, maybe and if of course that is your wish, maybe you can find happines as WE did in life. angel4hope
uuuuum...sounds like we have a few broken hearts here...if romance doesnt exist for you doesnt mean it doesnt exist at all...lighten up and let love find you...dont be so negative i know its not all fairytales and happines life has its ups and downs but doesnt mean romance doesnt exist at all....and these "cliche romantic evenings" arent really cliche because each situation is different due to the two different people involved in them...its not the for everyone ....
angel4hope
and one more thing romance doesnt always have to involve sex---to clear things up---a guy can be romantic in many ways doesnt have to involve sex......

CheekY
i don't think it's only men who don't listen…women do that too? when something is boring for me i just pretend to be listening...also i think romance does exist and every love (or "love" as you say) is different and special… what's cliche for you is sweet for someone else...you don't need something unusual to enjoy your time with your “other half”
Vayri7X
Something new? *Midnight picnic in a graveyard ? Best if like tombs are above ground..FAcilitates discoussions on morality. Encourages one to seize the day - or night as it were. Only for the daring and the Armogoths of armo-voudienne *A date in an abandonded train-boxcar .. bring the guitar/oud and raki. For the active types, try train-hopping together ( don't forgt that compass! and watch out for the bulls!) *Take your date to a poetry reading thang... Read an abstract poemm on what you find charming about them ( advice: do not name names- or be straight-forward.. put phrases - like an inside joke or an experience you had together so that THEY know... but not everyne there does- tact is foremost- even if you *do* mention the restraints * make a date at an odd hour _like, 3 am_ Make it in vintage type pajamas as the clothing ( it enhances comfortability factor- it saves angst over wha to wear). Rent an old , black and white movie- or for the surrealists, some Paradjanonv). After the movie, watch cartoons, make breakfast, watch the sun come up. just some thoughts to the " something new" comment
