So here is my response to the ORIGINAL topic. In Los Angeles: On average Armenian women DO dress better than others and look well-groomed overall. There are also bunch of armenian girls who dress like cholitas (Astvats baraqyat CH@TA)!!! In Armenia: On average an armenian woman/girl spends hours and hours dressing and applying make-up. Well, they do have a lot of time on their hands (no pun intended). And in my opinion they go overboard. For me, it was very strange to see girls in high-heels and sequence covered tops doing the daily shopping at the bazzar. The floors are very dirty and uneven and I remember one girl who was going to fall flat on her face if it was not for her friend pulling her back. In short, they don't seem to be able to distinguish day-ware from evening-ware. Comfort is out of the question !!! (looking at college students will tell you that) More later ... I think that's my private business just the same as if I slept with someone new every day of the week. There is something I've noticed that makes me feel sad is that during the time this thread was going on, there were other topics being brought up about Armenian Identity. Does it make you less of an armenian , or care any less, if you are not conforming to all the traditional values? I will not change my self or my lifestyle and more importantly expresing my veiws.
