MJ, you are taking cheap shots at me, and that's ok, because as a reader of your other posts I know I'm not the only one you do it to.

However, I would like to make something clear. What Aghchik and Thorny Rose can't seem to comprehend is that every single race on this earth has intolerence within it. Every single one. For one reason or another, they can't seem to accept this, and label me as intolerant or prejudiced because I won't accept their concept that we are living in some utopian paradise where everyone is great and we can all get along as one big happy Jewish Palestinian Armenian Turkish Chinese Japanese family.

You claim that Armenians are very tolerant to mixed marriages, and I would disagree. But it doesn't only have to do with Armenians, although I would know first-hand the mentality of some, being Armenian. For instance, what if you conducted a survey of all white Americans to see what percentage of them support black-white marriages? Very, very low. Back to Armenians, have you ever gone to church and looked at the faces of the worshippers as the Philipino wife of an Armenian man walks by? Not pretty. If you ask me, I don't see what the problem is with this subject and I am shocked that there has been such an uproar caused by it.

And you don't seem to comprehend that nobody asked you to sour the story up with your "reality" - right?
Twoot - the items...?

Don't worry, I won't marry anyone against my will.
For the rest, if you mean that YOU are not looking for long lasting marriage then just say so, don't generalize. Otherwise I would like to see some proof.

I don't see what openmindness has to do with wanting to commit oneself or not and furthermore I think you are confusing 'daily friendship' with daily sex. SEX. SE-HEX!
"Long lasting marriage"? I wish you would think before you speak my friend, because this is a rediculous combination of words.

6. I don't like racists.

What's so important about who else will frown upon it. It seems to me that YOU are frowning upon it.

Don't put words in my mouth. If you have to ask why it would be frowned upon, then you will never understand.

Are you asked to officially speak for many Armenians? If not, I wish you would limit yourself to only speak for yourself.

I will speak for the many Armenians that I know feel this way.

Again, you are unable to face reality. All racial communities are racist in one form or another, or have racist members among them. Be it Turkish, Armenian, Dutch, or whatever nationality you are.

What is this, Sesame Street? Where are all the grown-ups?

Yeah, like with the kind of "advice" he is trying to give here, about sun-shine and flowers and lollipops, you would think he is talking to a kid, telling him to smarten up and accept the responsibilities of life, that his parents will not always be around to help him or something - instead, you have someone going yak yak yak because he likes it, and then he tries to justify it.
He plain screwed a harmless story! I'll bet he also tells his 5-year-old kids that Santa Claus doesn't exist because rein-deer can't fly!
Moreover, he succumbs to public opinion regarding spouses from another community - the more you succumb, the more they will feel justified to bully you! Resist!

I know im anush darling Thorny Rose, I have two lollypops, want one? Let's put up our feet on our desks and dream off for a while enjoying this heavenly little sweet stick of hope, while others recover from their repetitive strain syndrom

How else do you want me to speak to people who think the world is all perfume-scented and pure? I bet you love fairy tales...

No, not really... The original "normal" story was fine by me until you stepped in with your know-it-all smart-aleck mode, whereupon I felt I needed to poke around a bit, only then stirring in the fairy dust...

What do YOU care about my grasp on reality, anyway? Anybody elected you High Teacher or something? Even if the majority of Armenians are against mixed marriages, I could find one who thought the same way I did... What for you to do then? Prophesize, "Hm, won't work..."?
All you have said until now would have gone to waste!
And you ARE asking about speaking to people - eh? How do you explain the way you have barged into a little story and changed it into SOMETHING POLITICAL - eh?

Dear Aghtchik, marrying an entire community may be an unfulfilling experiences, and would be too hard for one's fragile health. Just marry the man you have chosen.

Hold on... I am in the middle of saddling my horse.

Hey, I never said they all feel that way, did I?

Life is politics, baby.

Boo! Do you also "do it" (are you old enough to?) politically? Are you/is it left-leaning or right-leaning? LOL...
Twoot, now I would like to take the opportunity to say that I think you are pathetic... You are wriggling and wriggling to get out, çevir kazı yanmasın... Don't ever tell kids stories before bed-time - you'll just bore them to sleep. "Once there was a congressman..."
Twoot - your list for justification of...?
