Stormig
I just remembered I get annoyed by pointless repetitions or nudging. Once I slapped someone in the line behind me for being an arse and the repetitions stopped. He actually left the line.

Anileve
It really doesn't matter to me to what extent you are able (or willing) to tolerate life's little annoyances. My experience has shown me that life is far too short to spend it in an "annoyed" state - especially when the sources of grievances are so trivial. I would argue that my time/life is far too valuable to allow something as inconsequential as a ticking clock, or someone else's bad habit vex me. If it doesn't encroach upon my rights as an individual (eg. someone smoking at a table next to mine, when it is clearly forbidden), and it can be ignored, then I'll the first to ignore it. Live and let live, I think, is a decent maxim. What a romantic optimist you have become. Perhaps you will now start talking about butterflies and rainbows?  On a serious note, how do you get to that point, I mean how do you condition yourself to approach life that way. I hope that it's not like one day you wake up, stretch and decide that nothing will bug you or annoy you anymore.  Do you remember "Office Space" when the main character wakes up one day and just doesn't give a crap anymore? How the heck do you do that? Man, if only it was possible.. Sip, didn't you say that you had that happen to you? Perhaps you can instruct the worriers? Anonymouse
Things that annoy me: -Midterms -Asian drivers or old ladies driving whose head you can't see except their knuckles on the wheel.  -Stupid girls usually (some guys do it too just to be fair) who say the word "like" and "ya know" alot, as in every sentence. It's so god damned annoying. What is this craze? It seems to be this post-90s phenomenon where people have forgotten how to speak with clarity and intent and are unsure of themselves even when they speak. Due to a want of vocabulary and rhetorical skills, people need to resort to the use of "like" and "ya know" to explain themselves. I wish people like that die a horrible, horrible death.  -"Going out". What the hell does that mean? Another problem with language that pisses me off. What the hell does "going out" mean? You hear this phrase a lot from stupid idiots who "like to go out". When you see their myspaces or hear them talk, in addition to using the word "like" and the phrase "ya know", they use the phrase "going out". It used to be people went to the movies, people went bowling, people went to a bar, people went to a club, people went to dinner. However, screw all that, now people just "go out", or whatever that means. Maybe they go out to their deaths hopefully.  -Midterms.  -People who complain about smoking cigarettes and the supposed effect on global warming. Seriously, this is a level of annoying self-aborption and elitism that needs to be eradicated.  -Southern California traffic. -Celebrities and any "award" shows whether music or movie related.  -People who don't know anything that is happening nationally, or internationally, but know everything about celebrities. -Anything MTV related, even people who watch it.  More to come up later... EDIT: HOW CAN I FORGET THE MOST IMPORTANT ONES? -MYSPACE! I hope it goes away, plain and simple. -Angelina Jolie. God, talk about a retarded looking chick. Her head is disproportionate to her skinny crack whore looking emaciated body. For God's sake who cares what she does, whether she works with the UN or adopts kids. Seriously folks, she should be nothing more than an asterisk in the human footprint on earth.  -Angelina Jolie's fans. Takoush
Highly argumentative people. Sellfish and egocentric people. Controlling behaviours. Crude talks or jokes. Friends who act nicer on one on one, then act differently infront of others around. Backstabbers.
Ani
What disgusts me the MOST… Walking out of a coffee shop (or somewhere else), early in the morning…a man approaches coughing and I now what’s gonna follow the cough…turn my face away hoping that he’ll change his mind, and realize that what he’s gonna do is sickening…but noooo…there goes the spit… shooting LOUD…disgusting…how can these people do this…don’t they know that there are restrooms specifically designated for these kind of needs… It is really amazing how ignorant and ill-mannered people can be…
Anonymouse
What annoys me:Â People who state they are "open minded" and dislike "narrow minded" people. The sheer irony of that is amazingly hilarious but the simpletons don't realize that in this world there is no open-mindedness for the simple fact that we all have certain views and paradigms we abide by. And to the extent that some things are outside our paradigm or contradict it, we are all intolerant and narrow minded of those things that do not fit neatly into our paradigm. People who talk incessantly about tolerance but are the least tolerant of those who disagree with their dogma of tolerance.People who think voting for presidents makes a differencePeople who drive slow or don't signal.People who say "I could care less." No you idiots it's "I couldn't care less."People who like sushi and brag about it or announce it to the world that they are going to eat sushi. I'm not bringing that into this. Who have I insulted by answering the thread topic in this instance? If people are that sensitive to take it upon themselves to be insulted by what I said, then that falls on them.  Should I be insulted when Anoushik complained about people using toothpicks in public in post #8 above? After all, I do that.
