Because those countries gave Armenians refuge during and after the AG. That would be LEBANON, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Egypt and non-jewish Palestine. And yet there are others, who's one parent isn't Armenian, and they cherish Armenian culture and try to reach out to their culture even more. There's an old "joke" that's been going around, and it's in Russian, but I'll try to translate it into English Old Armenian grandfather is on his death bed, with all his children and grandchildren surrounding him. And he keeps uttering the same thing "Take care of Jews". They couldn't understand what he's talking about it, and when they asked him, he gave an explenation.
