Lyrics of 'Without your love'

Drumming hearts

And your silent words of love,

They still remain

In the shades of night.

Will you go?

Will you ever save my storming soul?

I need to know.

Should I live, should I die

Without your love?

Should I smile, should I cry

Without your love?

Should I fall, should I fly

Without your love?

All I can is only living for you,

Breathing for you.

What I lose, what I find

Without your love?

What I say, what I hide

Without your love?

What I have in my mind

Without your love?

Tell me what I have to do?

Since I love you...

Fly with me,

Take my wings and dream away.

The stars will lead

To the heavens’ way.

One’s for sure-

There’s a thousand ways

To say good-bye

What you decide?

Should I live, should I die

Without your love?

Should I smile, should I cry

Without your love?

Should I fall, should I fly

Without your love?

All I can is only living for you,

Breathing for you.

What I lose, what I find

Without your love?

What I say, what I hide

Without your love?

What I have in my mind

Without your love?

Tell me what I have to do?

Because I love you...

Catherine Bekian

This is the first serious attempt to write lyrics for a song in her life ever, though she writes poems and songs just for herself and not for the public. Born in 1982 she has graduated from the University in 2003. She has a master’s degree in Russian language and Literature. The lyrics are telling the story of a young man who fell in love with a beautiful lady, who used to love him as well. Something has happened and they lost each other, but the young man can’t imagine his being without the love of his life. He asks the lady of his heart what he should do as he loves her. Hoping for the happy end and promising the whole universe he sings a song of never ending love.

and he's good looking too! ;)

Vai Maral Maral... If I did not know I would have guessed you had finished a bottle of wine and had the empty bottle next to the PC when you wrote that comment. :)

Is this suppose to be an Armenian song, or an Arabic one? Because that video looks like a generic Arabic pop music video.

There is nothing Armenian about it.

Why the hell didn't they send Bambir, or Gor?

well...i don't understand what the criticism is all about...i must admit when i learnt Andre was representing Armenia at this competition I was very deceived, because we have people who have much more potential, I thought...and especially we needed a female singer since most of the winners of eurovision are female...but after hearing the song, i was impressed...the song doesn't sound turkish, and no it doesn't sound arabic...it does sound armenian (i'm talkin about the beginning, which sounds alot like armenian folk, and the zurna part which is a classic PERT dancE)...the rest of the song is pretty standard pop. and as for the video clip, i admit the first part is pretty boring, seeing andre in 3-4 different situations, and nothin else...but the second part with the zurna, and the armenian fruits glittering and all is pretty neat i find...overall, we have alot of potential i find...we have to keep in mind that this is eurovision and its not a classical or contemporary music contest...this is what the competition asks for, ive noticed a tendency in the winners: they mostly have this type of songs...and as for sending bambir or gor? :S i think that wouldve meant a definite loss...these ppl have nothing armenian about MOST (not all) of their songs, except for the lyrics...they have no dynamic song, nothing exciting, just bland msuic, which has ALOT of meaning, i agree, but doesn't represent armenia in my honest opinion...that's what i call western type of music, we've had this discussion before, and not sounding armenian AND sounding very western pop or american pop or russian is as bad as not sounding armenian AND sounding arabic or turkish...but then again, its my opinion, and i'm sure many will disagree

My dear friend,

Because it's Eurovision. Pop groovs, not substance. I mean 2000's Austrian representatives were 2 African-American-Austrians (yes). So, it's not a cultural represantation, just a commercial tgathering.

I love every minute of it, though, and it's amazing to include an Armenian at last. And not any Armenian, but a son of Artsakh. :)

Sorry but I think he looks too happy. :(

I watched the video and I didn't get that impression at all. I agree he comes across as somewhat like that in the photoshoots. But that will always happen if you're trying to look too manly. :D ;)

Nice song by the way! He's got a good singing voice. And a nice smile to match.

I checked out his website just now. Apparently it has been hacked by Azeris.

Yes that Khojaly thing again.

It has really hurt them where it hurts most.

If they only knew that Khojaly is just an overture to the real drama, that it is only a sampe pretaste of coming things.

If only those sonofabitches would learn that "massacre" is not spelled "armeno-ssacre" anymore but "azero-ssacre" and "turko-ssacre"!!

Song /or the music video has become a hot topic not only in everyday life of the people but also in media

a TV program was dedicated to it on H1 tv -

many accusing Andre of using OTAR none Armenian elements ion the song - for the song not being 100% song - for him copying some turik singer

you know what it's an nice song and it's well done

it has more Armenian elements then any song that 80% of the others are singing - + this was not supposed to be an Armenian sing - it's not an ethnic song or music contest it's Eurovision Song Contest - and I'm looking forward to see Andre Walking of that stage as the #1 Singer

Movses, have you seen on H1 the new show where an animated man criticizes the music videos? :D

I've seen it a couple of times, and today it was with our time around 9pm.
