Djrak
Djrak, are you talking to me? Am I degrading the Bible? Listen, there are contradictions in some details between the 4 Gospels. Before you jump to an outrageous conclusion that I have faith in anti-Christ maybe you need to be less fanatical and have more commonsense. For example, read again carefully how different Gospels describe the sceinario when it was discovered that Jesus' body was not found in the tomb. The details do not tie exactly to each other, as to who was there first, etc. Stop whitewashing the obvious. This contradictions do not mean that the Bible is full of lies, it only means there have been some errors as the scriptures have passed from age to age. "Lie" and "full of contradictions" are your words, not mine. I'm sorry Sasun, I wasnt refering to you but to the person who was saying that Jesus had a wife and kids... But about the contradictions, yes, I was refering to you. Those are not contradictions because the gospels arent historical documents only. They are true and infallible. You have to understand that each gospel has an audience, and each gospel has a certain path. They all lead to Christ and salvation. If u r talking about the difference between seeing 1 and 2 angels at the empty tomb of Jesus, you should know that those have a meaning behind them and a reason why they are written that way. They are not contradictions. because they do not contradict the truth they represent.
Djrak
I have a question to you Djrak. How do you know that Armenians have so little faith? from my own experience Why don't you worryt about your own faith first? Are you yourself honest with yourself and others? If you are not honest you discredit yourself and everything that you have said here. I thougth you had real faith, but I am having some doubts. So once again, be honest and answer, don't you find the contradictions that I mentioned above? I was replying to your post and believe me i am training my faith everyday. I try to rely on Him more and more everyday and He adds to my faith. I know this because of the blessings i see in my life that I get because of this. This doesnt mean I am perfect or anything on the contrary now i realize that I need jesus more than i thought I did. I am nothing without Him. Absolutely nothing. Takoush
Djrak; you're not the only one who needs Jesus in their life more than ever. There's a lot of people right in here who needs it much more than you. It is sad but it is true. Don't be despaired by anyone. Remember we're all humans. And remember what you said previously. The more you walk with Him the more they throw stones at you; just like they crucified Jesus for this or that empty and wrong reasons. But it is going a bit too far, saying that Turks have more faith than Armenians. Remember that most of the Armenians from Armenia weren't allowed to go to Church and keep their faith in place for 70 years. And you will find that a good number of the Armenians in here are from Armenia. Under communist regime they stayed away from Christianity completely, so you see you have to give it time and have a lot of patience for most of them to come around and be introduced to Christianity and the good it does to the human kind. Mostly, Christianity has to be almost newly introduced to them or reintroduced to them. And you're right, when Phantom22 said that he has a lot of books saying that Jesus had children and wives; I was wondering myself. Yet, I actually heard that He had siblings not a family. Is that true though? Did Christ had siblings? Again, remember to not mind the stones that are being thrown at you by people; they will do it now and then, we just have to pray more and keep on walking with Him regardless. Arpa
I can’t believe that this thread is still alive!! Will you guys, please kindly move your soap box to Ankara, Baku and Mecca? They need to hear your Gospel-Avetaran. We have had this kind of gobbledygook for over 1700 years. Is it not time that those others hear about Jesus and Jehovah? Who ever the hell He may be!!! Let me urge the mods to shut down this thread as we are not paid to promote Judeo- whatever the hell that may mean- culture here. Azat
I have a questionn to you all Why is it that Armenians have so little faith in their God? Seriously, among all the nations and people in the entire world, to find an Armenian believer is like finding a remnant from a rare species. And we boast about we're the 1st nation to adopt Christianity as national religion. huh! for what? Really, I know muslims who accepted Christ in their hearts and souls easier than you! I bet turks have more faith than we armenians. I swear. It's so sad. I sometimes marvel at how patient God is. How patient He's been with us. For protecting us thru all the difficulties despite our unfaithfulness to Him. He's so mercyful... I can answer for myself only and not for all Armenians. I DO NOT believe in your God or any other God, nor do I give a rats ass about any ones God. Dont preach to me. As long as you stay away from me you can preach to anything or anyone for all I care but dont come and force your beliefs in fairly tales on me... I NEVER boast to anyone that we are the first nation to adopt Christianity. I could care less. >>For protecting us thru all the difficulties despite our unfaithfulness to Him was he protecting the people of Spitak when He created the earthquake that killed 24K+ people?(i dont believe in God but since you do you must know he created the world and has full control over it)

Arpa
Anahit, Ana-het has no idea wheer her heduyk hetuyk is. When she viciously attacks me for questioning the “language” of the Book, yet at another post she states that she attends church every Sunday and she sings in the choir, and in a subsequent post she questions “organized religion”. (see above). Is not the Yekeghetsi part of “organized religion”? Are we ever confused? Can we ever be!! Is not the so called Armenan Church, be it Ejmiatsnakan or Kliklian the most confused of them all!! Let me repeat. Please, mods, shut this thread down!!!
