I dont know why you guys are complaining, here (australia), we dont even have an Armo assossiation at my Uni (one of the biggest in Sydney). So at least you have the option to join and participate, I dont. I only know of a few Armos in my faculty, and all of them have something wrong with them in some way. LOL - at the caption As for the beer study, its actually TRUE. Beer increases the levels of estregen (female hormone (testostorone for males)), I cant remmember how - it either contains enstregen (not likelly) or stimulates the production of it in the body. But one would have to be a heavy beer drinker to actually see changes.

Personally, it would really have to be a very good bargain for me to buy anything with engine mods, even a chip. Chips can be programmed in any way, thus can be more damaging than many other mods. Keep in mind, ANY mod reduces the life of the car (engine), thats why the manufacturer doesnt make and sell mods, even though its a booming business. The argument that the modifications will make the car more expensive is wrong, because the manufacturer could set up a chain of 'workshops' for its brand, but these mods will not have a consistent effect on their cars because they have not been tested proply, because the manufacturer is trying to come up with the next car etc. quote:they did say something about turbo air intakeprobably 'cold-air' intake. Might be a good idea to check if its been to the track often, though I suspect its still under factory warranty. Wow! an S4 and and Sti....though I suspect they wouldnt be very different on the road: both AWD + turbo power. Havnt posted anything latelly here, coz I been driving the Mazda . Very nice car, very classy looking, both in and out - many people think its a Lexus. I just got a couple of gripes: - The engine though very flexible and free revving, is underpowered for me....it seems only a WRX will satisfy my urges for acceleration . In isolation though, its a wonderful unit, mated with the short range 4-speed semi-auto gearbox works very well. I havnt had the nerve to thrash it yet, but in the first two days I put 200Ks on the odometer. - The sound system, although VERY powerful (4-speaker) lacks precision compared to the premium (6-speaker) system in my old Camry. I might be wrong though, might just have to play with the controls a little and get the right settings for me. It started raining the day after we took delivery, and has stayed wet since (3-days) in succession....I hate driving in the rain, particularly at night, so I havnt really enjoyed the car fully yet. Though with each day I like the car more and more (mainly due to small 'luxury' tidbits I discover) and I might yet change my mind about the engine, when I put the car through its paces proper and its got more Ks on it.

One thing about investing in oneself....you investment will only last as long as you live and probably much less (forget stuff as you get older). This is all well and good if you dont intend to eventually marry, start a family etc......

Camrys are good (reliable, cheap to maintain etc.) cars, but the 4-cyl engine is too small for that car, so everyone has problems with heads and gaskets after 100K killometres. I got some really great news guys! My Camrys engine being on its last legs, we ended up gettin a brand new car, none other than the very sexy Mazda 6. It was either that or the new Camry, the Mazda was a little more expensive but was better equiped and drove VERY nicelly. The interior is also super! It wont beat a Rex (WRX) off the lights, but its 10 times more stylish and corners very well, very flat. The gearbox we got was a 4-speed auto (so my mum can drive too), BUT sequential auto. If I had the money though, I would get a manual WRX of course, but this was a compromise Im happy with. Were takin delivery this Thursday. You guys basically got it. Usually in 'snow' considions, there is a layer of snow, on a layer of ice, on a layer of tarmac. The thin tyres reduce the surface area in contact with ground, hence more pressure, allowing for the tyres to 'cut' through this layer of snow more easilly for the 'spikes' to grab on to the ice and create traction. Now there is a bit of a dilemma in this scenario, anyone guess what it is? Hint: Its got to do with the 'spikes'

Congrats Nairi, Driving really is IMO one of the greatest pleasures of this world, but it shouldnt be taken for granted because there are too many idiots sharing the roads with us. As long as you drive within your limits (ability to control car at speed) and keep an eye out for the idiots you will be fine .
