Seaphan, quote:It just hit me and it is much deeper than it seems at firstWell, if you can do something about it, it shouldnt be too bad. THOTH, Sh!t, its one of my shortterm aims, to get my list studied while im doen 100 on a freeway....LOL

quote:It may make you feel better to know that gays in Armenian showbiz are still persecuted and killed.Nairi, I dont care what some people do in their bedrooms, but advertising this as 'normal' and 'ok' is wrong. quote:Btw, sorry for being so harsh on you last time... mmm...cant remmember you being harsh on me

quote:more technical way of putting it would be "be more flexible with your sexuality".This sounds too nice, but yeah, basically in Russian showbiz its hip to be gay........go figure.

THOTH, LMAO man, you got a serious problem on your hands . I can allready see the questions being asked: Wife: Whats that big hole in the bonnet for? THOTH: Oh...erm....erm....its the latest trend in air-conditioning, providing fresh air going straight to the cabin Wife: Why is there a big piece of metal on the boot? THOTH: ..erm....thats for like, maybe if we wanna turn the car into a wagon, the conversion is much easier etc...LOL btw. I can just see you entering the car dealer yard and driving out in a standard Impreza wagon instead, gonna be pretty difficult to justify the price hike for the Sti And if you do get it, do get a turbo timer, and I hope your not gettin other colour than WRC Blue (white is also acceptable though), otherwise I might have to come over, nick the car and dump it in a ditch....

I only found out about them when they started playing one of their English singles on radio here, but I much prefer the Russian ones (and understand them too ). Download the songs called, 'Robot' and 'More Lubvi' (Sea of love), I think these are the best. Apprently they have been very popular in Europe for a while now, not just Russia. And in interview they said they are bi-sexual (for publicity), but both have b/f. A family friend recently returned from Russia, and was telling us how these days to be cool and be in showbiz, you gotto be gay/lesbian....what has the world come to

I just double checked the performance figures for the current Sti, and torque is almost 350Nm, and the standard WRX is 300Nm. btw. THOTH, have you got any planned modifications? May I suggest a new exhaust system because nothing sounds better than the freed up Subaru boxer warble. And maybe a blow-off valve for an ensemble And is there info on the price, I didnt find anything at that site....

Hi guys, do any of you listen to the Russian group Tatu (2 young girls), they got some really nice (Russian) songs, though the English translations are pretty terrible because of the singers heavy accents

WHOA! there were rumours that the US (and the rest of the world) market was going to get a 2.5L turbo engine, but not untill the next model. This machine looks like a beast, people who put a deposit for the EVO must be kicking themselves.......LOL It doesnt produce much more power than the 2L (about 15kW more), but seems to have loads more torque 300lbft = 400Nm(?) compared to 300Nm quote:And it will beat the crap out of the Mits! Yes, it probably will kill anything else in the real world from point A to B, anything up to Porcshe 911 Turbo, which in its turn costs like 5 Stis, and is basically classified a supercar. btw. Mazda has announced the allready well advanced development of the next RX-7, with a larger (than RX-8) rotary engine, but not turbocharged, possibly three rotors. This and the GT-R will be the only cars that will compete with the Sti for price/performace, but they will be more expensive.

Now I gotto get off my lazy a$$, get a job and get a Supra (the IT job market is really depressed here )

quote:It feels sometimes that most good guys are with girls that don't appreciate them and good girls met guys that don't appreciate them. I Don't know if this is true or no, but it seems that way sometimes. I think thats jealousy . But certainly some guys/gals are so used being treated like trash, that they just cant be in a 'normal' relationship.

quote:Money comes from success. However, whether you chase money or success has profound importance in determining where you end up at the end. Well, fortunatelly, Im not yet old enough to ascertain your opinion on this. But Ill take your word for it [ January 10, 2003, 11:44 PM: Message edited by: Accelerated ]

quote:Pursuing money for attaining power is not the same as pursuing money to buy a BMW and crow to your equally banal Armenian neighbor.Hmmm, this is a moot point. To a small extent owning a BMW is power . The power to get from point A to B in privacy, luxury and some class etc. (or whatever the resident society might percieve the ownership of a BMW may bring). Though in the greater scheme of things, I agree with you. [ January 10, 2003, 04:19 PM: Message edited by: Accelerated ]

quote:I suspect the STi could be in the 27-30K range. In that case, the EVO would be overpriced, even at 29K, without the advanced AWD system (and I suspect less horse-power) it should be closer to the standard WRX price. quote:- tinny - as in flimsyYes, I remmember a year ago reading a review of the EVO VI Makinen Edition. And the test driver said something along the lines of "...it feels like its about to fall apart (on the track), but it never does..." not very confidence inspiring

Well, thats too bad. I would have chosen the Subie over the EVO anyday (for a variety of small reasons), but now with the EVO being tonned down, its no contest (in the US anyway). Hang on though....at US$29000 isnt the EVO in standard WRX price territory?
