Yea according to the British/US history WW2 chronology goes something like this:
1939/40 Invasion of Poland/France
1940 'The Blitz'
1940/43 North Africa
1941/45 War with Japan
1944/45 D-Day and Nazi collapse
Whats even more disgusting is they way the Red Army is portrayed in the few instances when the Eastern Front is covered. Presumably we won because of sheer numbers, 'the winter' and ruthless generals who had no regard for casualties. The Germans (on the Eastern Front), although brilliantly led and equipped, fought bravely but were too few in numbers to stop us. Any acts of Soviet 'bravery' on the other hand can be atributed to coercion and ignorance. Actually, the more I write about this the angrier I get, better stop right here.
