Deposit down on MY08 WRX Sti! The percieved ugliness of the new model meant there was a runout on MY07 stock and no discounts. I wasnt going to pay full retail for a car that has been superseeded. Anyhow I went the launch to see the new Rex in the flesh and it doesnt look bad. There is a lot of potential for the Sti to look tough with pumped guards, rear wing etc. Anyhow I test drove half a dozen cars before I made the decision, none were as good as the MY07 Sti, and Im hoping the MY08 will be even better. Dont flatter yourself. In a conventional war with conventional objectives ie. destruction of enemy armed forces, no other power in the Middle East can compare with Israel. Israel may not have achieved its stated objectives in the war, but the real looser was the Lebanese population, not Israel.

Presumably we won because of sheer numbers, 'the winter' and ruthless generals who had no regard for casualties. The Germans (on the Eastern Front), although brilliantly led and equipped, fought bravely but were too few in numbers to stop us. Any acts of Soviet 'bravery' on the other hand can be atributed to coercion and ignorance. Actually, the more I write about this the angrier I get, better stop right here.

I think in all circumstances you would be better off selling the car privately than taking it to the dealer. He/she isnt going to take it off your hands unless they can get a REALLY good deal.
