My point exactly, society has changed. 500 years ago it was you would get whoooped, now you will get sent to get 'advice', and 100 years from now its everyone for themselves - society is changing. Yes this is another factor, kids these days are more knowledgable, thanks to free and available education and hence ger bored more easily.

Boredom is a factor, but I dont think its the biggest one: I think its just the way society has become, I mean if todays kids are bored, what about those born 500 years ago? When there were no computer games, no internet etc.

I am fuming..... Just called the Russian Consulate here to get some info on their Transit Visa, because we wanted to visit relatives in Moscow for a couple of days on the way to Armenia this summer. Its too late to get a toursit visa. This b*&%# picks up the phone, and I ask about the transit visa, she goes 'all information on the website', i say i am looking at the website and need a clarification on something, she does a deep sign and repeats what she said earlier I should turn up at the consulate with a shotgun. Does anyone know how long we can stay in Russia on a Transit Visa and is it possible at all, conidering there are daily flights to Yerevan from Moscow (ie. what if they ask for justification for our stay etc.) Note: There has been a tightening of visa issuing in April 2003 Thanks in advance.

I think most in the community would be surprised to find how widespread drug use has become. 90% of the people I know (of my age) have tried weed at least once (some smoke on a regular basis). And these arnt just deadbeets, most are university students. Whats more worrying is the use of pills (ecstasy) and trips in nightclubs. These days you go to a proper nightclub (not bar) and almost everyone is on somethin, and they would have to be, no other way of listening to head-shattering bass for hours on end without getting a migrane.

.......Anyhow hadnt been this drunk since like New Years, I think....yeah. There I am dancing with a friend next to our table (seven of us in total, but I couldnt sit anymore, they were ;playin a good song), after a little while this girl comes up to us from behind (cant remmember her looks, except that she had longish dark hair), she has a bolt (as in bolt & screw) in her hand..........man i cant remmember the conversation.......I went something like 'why have you got that bolt in your hand, why are you showing it to us'. Basically when people entered the bar, they were given a bolt(for girls) or a screw (for guys) of different sizes. And if you found a match for your bolt/screw, then you were meant talk to them etc. an excuse to pick up basically. But because our group was a mix of guys and girls, we were not given anything.....LOL....so I didnt have a clue. And when she came up I was totally surprised, and she spent 5 minutes explaining her actions (took long coz we were drunk.....obviously), and walked away at the end. I only realised the next morning (when I was sober) that that was an attempt to pick me up LOL. .......we were sort of celebrating my bday too. I got a nice Cuban cigar from one of the guys......very smooth
