Dan, English football is boring to watch, you will hardly ever see any flashy goals by English teams (including the national team), most are scorred from crosses or by chance (ball happens to fall in the right place). The only English Premier League team worth watching is Arsenal: mainly thanks to the likes of Henry and Pires - though theyve been goen badly latelly, dont know why.

Im not much of a poker player, but 'Rounders' is one of my favourite movies. And I think Texas Hold'em is the game they play there. Should see it if your a fan of the game....

They have the right to be arrogant, the club is one of the oldest of Europe and has performed consistently well throughout its 100 year history. Almost every current player they currently field is a soccer genius in their own right. PS. I've never seen them behave arrogantly anyway... And I share your dislike of Beckam, I have never seen him play as well as he is hyped (granted I am told he played well vs Real this week). And I hate the sound of his voice, (LOL) and the crap that comes out of his mouth - he is actually pretty dumb. And hate Owen too - LOL

I missed out on this game , everyone has been saying how good it was, I just saw Ronaldos winning goal (strike from outside the penalty box) on the news. Real is certainly looking good for the cup, they also managed to thrash United at home, but their Italian opponents can be very unpredictable, just like the Italian national side.

Bruin, .....that may have been a great opportunity to get your mark revised from that last assessment, where you didnt get the mark you deserved Sip, In the first semester of university, you should have seen the lecturer/coordinator (dont think she is a professor) for our first programming subject. It was a she (25-30 old), probably a lesbian, and with her ragged outfit and (very lean) looks you would say she was a homeless heroin addict if you saw her on the street - no exageration. Particularly striking was her 'haircut', which changed colour and style as fast as it grew - I was shocked. Aaaahhhhh, first semester was great, not on one occasion did we force lecturers to abandon and leave the lecture because of the noise, and as he would be walking out, people would yell "Come on Tim, come back etc." (his first name was Tim and he looked like Santa, big and tall with beard - maths subject ).

Which one do the Armos (of LA) cheer for. The other day I saw the ducks beat the Red Wings (Last years champions), so I assume their pretty good. I dont like basketball, boring to play and even more boring to watch. Thanks for the link Dan.

I used to be an avid hockey fan, back in CCCP. I remmember when the national team would tour the States, thrashing one team after another. We recently got ESPN on TV so i get to watch some NHL games, now I gotto find a team to cheer for . Does LA have a team? Are they any good? And how does the 'conference' system work? Is it like, a number of separate leagues, the winners of which play each other etc.

One of my favourite 'bits' from all movies is the ending of 'Enemy of the State', when they all go to the Italian joint to get the tape. Tom Sizemore acting the Italian mobster is AWESOME, very very good, full dirty, sweating, arrogant etc.....he should get an Oscar for just those couple of minutes (or less). Just worth watching that movie for the bit at the end

Pretty tired of running I think, might take a brake. I dont like my name actually, not anymore, much prefer Juggernaut. LOL - Computer Geek, example to all, only if you spend long days (and nights) in a dark windowless room endlessly crunching numbers without sleep, appropriate nutrition/vitamins or contact with other mammals - not only will you start liking it (better thank me Sip, that 'it' could have been replaced with something really horrible - I will leave to your imagination ), you also start coming up with lame jokes such as the one above.
