First, a ship over filled with Eastern European Jews escaping frm the Nazis was turned way from numerous Turkish ports, to soon sink in the Aegean with all aboard lost at sea. Second Jews, along with Armenians, Greeks and other minorities were assessed exhorbitant taxes by the Turkish government in the 1950's. Many Jews, unable to pay, were placed in forced labor camps and died there alongside Armenians. Azat, If there are EXCEPTIONS to every rule, why do Armenians feel that we all have to walk in step, in military fashion in every way? The ONLY solidarity should be for the Armenian cause. A comment was made by Sip, I believe, in another thread that Armenians are hairy. Another generalization. I remember very well the young blond non-hirsuite Armenian ingenue I dallied with in my youth. There were many like this. One of my friends married a blond Armenian guy. My grandmother was so fair, blue eyed and non-hirsuite that she could have passed for a Scandinavian or a north German, which is what she did the years she lived in Germany.

We have had Gays and bisexuals in our family over many generations, including a number of priests who I never met. Most of these people, scattered around the world due to the Genocide, never even met each other. These are all on my mother's side. Recessive genes sometimes skip a generation or "go into hiding" for a few generations. I am the classic bisexual, as opposed to the classic homosexual who realizes this very early in life. Bisexuals usually begin to realize this later, primarily in their 20s. This trend points toward a genetic base. My self-imposed celibacy, except in marriage or a committed heterosexual relationship, does not change my sexual orientation. I am still bisexual, just not practicing.
