Now lets clear things up with the grand intro: I always hear "Anoon Hor, yev Vortvo, yev Hoqvooyn Surpo." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that it was "Hanoon Hor..." The krapar/grabar prefix of the "h" connotes "in", as in "In the name of the Father..." edit note: added that it was krapar/grabar.
  2. I can't wait to go for the first time soon. Welcome to the forum Gexo!
  3. Zartonk jan, everyone and their mother (literally) buys their special commodities (why does it sound like we're talking about drugs----we're not ) from the said store, Phoenicia. Its the largest imported-foods provider in Houston, and is really the only choice in terms of where to get your imported goods, other than a few small specialty stores.
  4. Ok. This video has convinced me. Let's go ahead and Evangelize Armenia.
  5. With a barbarian like this, barbaric tactics punishments should be used. I'm talking Hamurabi!
  6. To put it in simpler words: book smarts doesn't equal street smarts!
  7. Safarov Sentenced RFE/RL reports that Ramil Safarov, a lieutenant in the Azerbaijan Army, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a Hungarian courty for murdering an Armenia counterpart on a NATO Partnership for Peace training programme in Budapest two years ago. “Compassion and remorse were completely missing from (Safarov’s) testimony,” Judge Vaskuti said upon announcing the verdict. “During the whole case we waited for him to be at least a bit sorry for the Armenian soldier he killed brutally and for (Markarian’s) family.” Even so, it is still unclear whether Safarov will serve his sentence in Hungary or whether he will be extradicted to Azerbaijan. Blogian is also uncertain about where Safarov will serve his sentence and refers to information passed on by one anonymous Hungarian journalist. As a Hungarian journalist* clarifies from Budapest, the persecutor has requested “life sentence with minimum 30 years of imprisonment.” This is way different from asking for “30 years.” The prosecutor also demanded “lifelong ban, expulsion from Hungary” for Ramil Safarov. Given the nature of the crime, and the fact that Safarov is considered a national hero by some Azerbaijanis, there is no doubt that this would be a grave insult to the memory of Gurgen Markarian — the Armenian officer he decapitated with an axe. oneworld.blogsome.com

  9. Supposedly I should be living in the UK
  10. If Q steps up, then I will follow, even though Easter has passed :-)
  11. I'm afraid that won't happen, as our clergy lacks one skill that every Evangelical pastor innately has: the ability to cure the blind by slapping them like they've never dreamt of being slapped.
  12. "Arafat"? What, are they trying to make Ararat Palestinian? It could be a typo, as the "f" is right below the "r" on the keyboard. But... ...they could just be idiots.

  20. Unfortunately for everyone on this forum I majored in Easter egg design in college.
  21. Amazon results for "Armenian Navy Band" Unfortunately the Armenian Navy Band's CD doesn't have samples, but Arto Tuncboyacian's (the first one's) does, so you can listen to those.
