DominO123
I disagree - like I said it will mean teams wont be able to hog all the top-scoring players, making things more interesting. Myabe increase the size of the bench to four, but no more IMO. What's a bench?

Accelerated
Look at accel... he still kicked all of your a..es. even though I had a stellar season, with only one loss and some THREE wins over THOTH, the self-proclaimed expert of fantasy football - there is a significant element of luck and as a beginner you have to invest a lot of your time in it to get any sort of results. Accelerated
What's a bench? like in soccer, your 'backup' players, if someone gets injured and/or is not performing you can replace them with someone from the bench.

Don't tell me that there is trainings and things like that? once you know whats going on, you can spend as little as 10 mins a week - but if you dont have a clue (like when I started I had never watched a complete match of football and had no idea as to the rules, players, positions etc.) then its time consuming. Everything is of course a function of how well you want to go

THOTH
Winston, I defeated your 'powerhouse' team TWICE by fair margins ...any given sunday - as it were...and I don't recall that they were blowouts. Any week a good team may tank or a bad one do well - just happens - playoffs also tend to be screwy as some teams rest starters near seasons end etc....and this year will be for revenge regardless! Why then registering our team so soon?

Sip
WOW this thread went nutz I'm running around a bit today ... I'm sure we'll be able to change the draft date and there is still a lot of time left. Even if you can't make it to the live draft, yahoo will pick the players for you. Keep in mind Accel went with the default team and only moved around the players on his bench for the big part of the season and he still got first place  Anyone who needs info about the league, sign up now and I'll explain later (it's free). It's really not that hard to play. You will even learn NFL rules as time goes on. Basically you get fantasy players and you put them in different positions on your team. Depending on how the real players play each week in the NFL, you get points. The team with more points wins against the oponent each week. After several weeks, we go into playoffs (only 8 teams) after which it becomes single elimination (per week) until there is one team that is the champion. DominO123
Domino, I think you should save yourself the embarassment and delete your team After reading a little about that sport, I can't understand how it could even exist... That's probably why it is called "American" football.

vava
We don't want no deadbeats though! It sucks when the best player on the field belongs to a team that hasn't even looked at his/her roster all season. Plus it's more interesting trade/waiver - wise when teams are more active. vava
Hey sip - I saw this on the FF site: • Your league will not be permitted to conduct its draft if it contains an odd number of managers.  I count eleven, and that's 'odd'. So are we having our draft or what?
