As such, politicians tend to listen to their problems and complaints more than any other group. What do these geezers clamor for? More money for social security and medicare, more and more entitlements. Billions and billions of dollars pour into the pockets of these derelict and worthless citizens, stealing from working Americans everywhere. It's time to take a stand, ladies and gentlemen, and I believe I have a solution to America's problem. "We Should Put All Elderly People to Sleep" Why would we do such a thing? Killing off the elderly population would free up billions that could be put to much better use. Political discussion would be moved away from crying old grandmas who claim they do not have enough money for pills. Thousands of new jobs would be created in the corpse disposal and pet food industries. America's job crisis would be over. True, some companies such as Cadillac would suffer, but these losses could be lessened by legalizing prostitution and providing government subsidies to pimps, who would then be able to buy their favored automobiles. Many may feel guilty over the complete extermination of the millions of senior citizens in this country. Maybe they didn't want to see grandma go so soon. To these people I have this to say: the elderly are demanding, rude, and they smell bad. They provide no useful service to society and only serve to drain resources. Our most beautiful states, Florida and Arizona, are completely ruined by their presence. If that were not enough, and as having previously worked in a restaurant I can say they also tip poorly. Stop ruining it with your party pooper antics. Come to think of it, in this new society, there is not much room for bikers either. Think of the potential that this project has! Not only would we be rid of America's most annoying citizens, thousands of jobs would be created! Pet food and livestock feed prices would go down as a low cost meat entered the market! No more depends commericals! No more having money stolen out of your pocket! Exclamation point! Oh yeah and no more godawful Phillip Morris commercials. Sure.. sure... why doesn't your precious pharma industry just double the prices of all the meds they sell to the elderly - when quite evidently, they could still turn a hefty profit at a tenth the current price. God forbid these people post less than billion dollar profits! But hey, who am I to talk? Greed rules, right? Research for new medications??? Phooey! The majority of the research is going into studying reformulations of old medications so they can be marketed under new patents. Why research treatments for incurable diseases, when you can simply 'manufacture' a 'condition' that responds to the drugs you're already developing. Hmmmm....
