Dan Posted December 11, 2003 Report Share Posted December 11, 2003 Well, I am bored almost to tears, and for some odd reason (odd because it's not even the weekend ), no one's posting at the forum.. so hmm, I was wondering, what do you guys do when you're bored? Any tips/suggestions/techniques of beating this devil called boredom? I try to read a book, or find something interesting on the internet, but all of a sudden it seems to me like the entire web is dead too. I don't know why.. And I can't think about anything for more than a minute when I'm like that (bored?).. OK, well, I'm ADHD, but still... So what do you do to fight boredom? And does it work for you? I've tried almost everything (turning on the TV, surfing the web, reading, writing, listening to music, chatting with mom), but I get bored of it instantly (i.e. I turn on the TV, look at what's on for the night, then turn it off, even though my fav. programs would be on that night).. You just never know.... shopping? you mean window shopping? i don't have money, and besides, my mom wouldn't let me get out anyway... so yeah, my problem stems from there, i guess, but still.. i hate christmas because of that - everyone gets to go out except for me.. i hope it snows like crazy, so that everyone would stay home like i do. You're old enough, non?yeah, i go to York, but I'm on vacation now... she doesn't let me go out anywhere except for school. she's been threatening to kick me out.... yeah, i'm old enough, but i don't have enough money to support myself if she kicks me out. Also write nasty things in the Forum. That way you will keep moderators busy and will be satisfied that someone is paying attention, although for a short time. Well, you can also read the news, weather, the latest developments of the main soap operas (recently they were included in the news), E-bay is a good way to kill time too.Have some more but they are secret.
