Yeah, it was the whole highschool "first love"thing, we stayed together and had a long distance relationship for like the first two years of college. She had a lot of issues, self esteem, didn't know her dad. I tried to show her love and keep it together. I was stupd too like 18 years old, didn't see the signs. In the end I had to find out that she'd slept with like two other guys while I was at school, and she didn't even tell me. That heaped upon other lies that are so lengthy and hurtful it's too much to write right now. I'd been at my college turning girls down, because I was in "love" or so I thought.

After the break up, her ghetto-ass friends would call my house and talk mess, read my letters to her in the background and make jokes. She didn't even try and stop them. Things were weird, her friends egged her on into cheating on me. They resented me for trying to be a like a postive guy who was well spoken and not into bullsh!t you know. Her friends hated on me, for not being as ghetto as them basically. It was just bananas.

I was the best thing that ever happened to her(her & her Mother's words) and she just did me dirtier than you can imagine. Years later she'd still tell me her Life took a turn for the worse ever since we brokeup, and that's the only thing in her Life she regerts....blah blah... It was a lesson fro me, I almost feel like I needed that. I was EXTREMELY hard, but I'm way past that now, but at the same time, if someone you "Love" can do that do you, it makes other ppl you meet, mess with, date, seem very shady for a looooong time.

Sev-mard, that sounds so familiar. In my case, my first boyfriend (not first love) was someone I went out with for three years. We broke up and sometime within the year after that, I called him up on his mobile one night per his request during the day when we briefly met for me to pick up some belonging that was still with him. He was with his girlfriend and the moron didn't have the guts to tell his girlfriend that he was on the phone with his ex. His girlfriend figured it out (from having heard about me from his friends often) and set up a whole row and broke up with him. That set him against me. I was like, WTF??!

A few weeks later, I started getting harrassed on the phone, having nasty messages being sent to me, etc., by his girlfriend, who made it up with him. To make the long story short, they were humiliated big time (the girl had some kind of neurosis, too, I think, and broke down crying) when I applied to authorities, and of course after that they drew their "cease-and-desist"... But it was unbelievable. I am over the shock but haven't cooled down quite - still feeling VERY vindictive when I think about it and find myself wondering how I could get back at them somehow. If we were a heathen tribe (Germanic, African, makes no difference), it would've meant the death sentence for both of'em!

Hey Stormy,

Just forget it. This woman is clearly deranged. She is not rational. You have a hot-headed personality and some narrow-minded ideas but I don't think you match her for irrationality. People like her are capable of killing others. Keep your distance and forget what happened. Thank God that it is over. Don't re-stir the pot. Your ex's girlfriend needs professional help.

Ayn achchig hivand a! Stay away, and damn your ex boyfriend for being a snake and colloborating with her.

People make jokes about psycho ex's but there are a lot of hivand people out there who all they need is some kind of emotional trama to explode. :furious:

My case wasn't as psycho as it was just insensitive. I mean her friends called me on their own...where did they get my #? Why didn't she stop them from calling me? When they were reading my letters in the back and making fun of me I could hear them. She says "they're adults I can't stop them from doing what they want" I'm thinking the whole time "Wow...this is the person i was with? I loved this person?" It ws total betrayal and insult to injury, the whole 9 yards you know. Crazy, I haven't really thought about it in a while, but that was a bad time for me. But as I said before in a sick way i'm glad that it happened. I needed to see the light, before then I thought all women were great, and lovable creatures, and I was so loyal it was damn near delusional.

Sev mard, Stormy -

Very sorry to hear about your (similar?) experiences...its very tough when someone you cared about acts nastily or even is insensitive...after that you probably went through alot together (particualrly if they were your first/first love). And your experience - Sev Mard - where you "saved youself" or what have you - and she did not/was not honest about it etc - that must have really hurt you - I can understand your nager & hurt...just hope it hasn't/doesn't ruin you for others - becaus enot everyone is like that. Honesty & communication are key IMO. If you don't have that - it is really a (proper) relationship. With it you can weather quite a lot sometimes...So both you kids - my advice is hang in there and don't let it color you (well you already Sev...LOL...you know what I mean)...and certainly don't dwell on these experiences...learn what is useful from them and move on...

Not to worry, guys, it's been way over a year now. And at any rate, I wasn't thinking of anything physical. I did after all post about the whole incident on a mailing list we were both members of, and he didn't deny ("silence is consent") and opted to drop out. Something worse along those lines would've provided me closure. :D

Haggy Googy, narrow-minded? We didn't ask you to entertain us, don't expect to be flung coins.

Mabye sad but at least I don't have any stories like you would see above! All of a sudden it's not so "sad" anymore, is it? B)

Sip...you can't just go through life avoiding things that might turn out badly...otherwise life would be pretty boring...and after 10-20-30? years of the same you/one might eventually reflect and think - well what have I missed - (and even worse - what couls I have done that I no longer can do or have the option etc...not good) etc...and for all the (potential) bad...that could (and sometimes does) happen in a relationship...it never outweighs all the good stuff...

Funny - I had lunch with this gal yesterday and we were joking about getting older and related (yeah sexual stuff...LOL) etc...and she came up with/related a great one...(from a guys perspective...): "I might not be able to do all the things I once did...but I can do all the things I once did once" (or some such) - LOL - well perhaps it takes being/getting older to appreciate this sentiment (It certainly spoke to me...)...LOL She had some other similar quips...but I can';t recall them at the moment..shame (I'd love to share more) - certainly had us laughing...
