'Bruin - well congrats on finding your perfect salad dressing - LOL Though my advice (to you gals) is don't be fooled by the fancy outer wrappings...its whats inside that matters most...

 

Speaking of salad dressings - I tend to make my own - in fact a friend of mine who owns a (natural/whole) food distribution company has discussed marketing/distributing some of my dressings. One I'm particualry proud of is a Pommegrant vinagrete...made, of course, with real pomebrante juice! Its heavenly I tell you...even a goddess would approve! LOL

Speaking of salad dressings, I was in Phoenix last week and went to this incredible restaurant called Cowboy Ciao mostly because we had heard great things about it from the Wine Enthusiast(best award for the last 6 years - and their wine list is impressive. over 2600 types of wine).

 

Had this one salas there that was the most incredible thing I had ever had. it is called "the Stetson chopped"

Here are the ingredients

Israeli (pearl) couscous, cooked

Roma tomatoes, diced

super-sweet dried corn - incredible texture, had never had it like that

arugula, chopped

smoked salmon, diced

asiago cheese, crumbled

toasted pepitas(pumpkin seeds)

dried black currants

Pesto buttermilk dressing

 

I am telling you, my taste buds were in heaven and for the first time ever in my life I ordered a second order instead of desert(and I LOVE desert)

seaphan... this is really interesting...

 

there are plenty of times during the day that a healthy 27 year old male "wants" somebody, and I'm sure the other guys would back me up on this. But at least in my case, it's rarely due to "emotional want" reasons. So I guess that may shed some light on the "need" part.

 

 

so what kind of a want is it, if it isn't "emotional?" ....do you only want someone to get physical with... is it just "lust" to you ?

 

On a related note, I find myself checking forums like this quite often at times. I find them to be a great way to get some of the "stuff" out of my system that only other humans would understand and/or appreciate. The other benefit of a forum like this is that you are not commited to anything. You are free to come and go as you please, when you please, and most often, you won't be missed if you don't come back ... in other words, NO PRESSURE what so ever. Furthermore, there is almost no "cost" associated to switching from whatever you are doing to a forum like this and then switching back to work.

Yeah Bitterweet...you are likely right. Unfortunately Seaphan - and others like him (guys & gals) are really missing out IMO (in so many ways). There is nothing so special in life then love and the caring and emotions that come with it (both ways). Are there personal sacrifices? Certainly/assuradly - but when is there not - for something worth having/experiencing? Sure - I can't also understate the benefits/worthyness or what have you just even considering the physical aspects of a relationship (hubba hubba etc LOL) - but - in my experience they pale in comparision to the emotional feelings (the joy of loving someone and being loved and all that goes with it) and the benefit of close companionship and having an intimate friend etc - really (of course the physical is often a big part of this as well...though not always even...and like has been pointed out by others...some of this is replacable - to an extent [though not fully adequatly...at all...]...with ones own means [the trusty hand as it were!]...LOL...or through the use of DEVICES - LOL! - joking here...though sadly - in many cases this is the best it gets for some folks...and a real shame there...).

 

But to me - these relationships are what is precious in life - the most precious outside of immediate family (incl having your own). And you should learn alot about yourself - and how to give of yourself - and this is important...and immensly satisfying in itself...and a close loving relationship - filled with doing/experiencing things together (and even seperatly - but that you want to share your feelings/experieinces etc with someone...well it doesn't get any better...(and should be experienced [often/many times] when your young) - IMO (as life does go by so quickly...and one can never go back)

 

And maybe I'm unusual - in that I love/fall in love easily (and often)...LOL...and I also (in my life) have formed fast bonds with my friends...and even girlfriends (where our relationship [as friends] sometimes even continues after we split) - and I know that this is unusual (but I am a forgiving person [and someone who really tries and does see the positive in persons that I care about...]...and someone whom I think is also easy to love....once others gets to know me...they know that I am a good prerson with a good heart - sort of thing....not one to play games or (intentionally) hurt someone...even if I do blabber on at times (and am perhaps a bit high on myself - LOL)
