We made a stop at an intersection due to red light. At that moment a lightening hit the traffic pole some 25 feet away from us. It was a spectacular sight. It was as if the pole was alive, and someone like Mike Tyson punched it into the face - its eyes went blank. My wife and me looked at each other and couldn’t speak of some 15 seconds.
